Ranma was surprised at how much this stranger was looking out for him. He wondered if she went around just helping everyone. Just as long as she didn't see him as weak, he wouldn't mind too much. β Listen I said.. β The other didn't hesitate to grab his hand and pull him over. β Is there a reason you care so much? β
Though he started to follow her, he slowly removed his hand from her grip. The more he thought of it, if he didn't take care of this now, Akane would probably end up worrying about it so, might as well accept her help.
β So, you got first aid kits on hand or what? β
SHE WOULD MIRROR THE ACTION, thankful however that her own cheek wasn't bruised like his. A thoughtful and curious little furrow of her brows given, as she continued to look him over.
Heck, she almost had a good mind then to try and wave her hands at the pouting boy to stop doing that! It was already turning a deep, DEEP PURPLE. (It was pretty scary how bruises can change to such extreme colours overtime) And while he might appear unaffected then, it... well, it still wasn't good to apply pressure to it like that!
... Sigh, were all boys like this? What was it with them always getting into FIGHTS?
"You say it ain't, but--" With a huff, the young girl would then reach up like an exasperated little sister to finally stop him from pressing that ever-blossoming bruise further into his palm. "C'mon, bro, let's get ya some ice fer dat bruise." She wasn't gonna leave him be, until he had at least done that.
β Well yeah but.. β He though over her comment as they continued walking. Ranma was the type to help other in needs, but only if he saw them in danger. Just like him, if they don't ask for help, he assumes they're alright. Of course this all changes if that someone is someone who he cares for. When it comes to himself, Ranma rather just deal with it. He doesn't want to seem weak or admit he needs others to pick him up.
They finally reached what Ranma assumed to be their destination. He waited and tapped his foot as she talked to the other and then proceeded to lead him upstairs. β Seems like we've been walking forever. β Or it could be because Ranma was so impatient. He just hoped it wouldn't be too long because he didn't want to be scolded back home.
β I know this is off topic, but I'm also getting hungry so... if you don't have food here I need to get going. β
SHE WAS GLAD that he was not being too stubborn or difficult about this. She had after all dealt with a number of boys in the past that would by now roughly snatch their hands away and snap at her to BUZZ OFF. And so, she didn't mind at all when he would eventually pull his hand away from her own, so long as he continued to follow her back to her place nearby.
"... Why not, bro?" She responded back, seeming genuinely surprised herself when he had asked that. Even looking back over her shoulder and at him with slightly wide eyes, "If ya see dat someone's hurt, don'cha wanna help em' out yerself?"
With that said, Itsuki would then look back ahead. She was beginning to pity him now, but only because the idea of having someone showing any sort of care or concern for him seemed almost alien to him. Sure, she was a stranger. But she was sure there were other strangers who would have done the same then.
"Naaaah, ah don't. But uhm startin' ta think ah should." Itsuki would finally smile and chuckle, nearly rolling her eyes then at the very thought of it. "'Fraid all's uhf got is some ice, wash cloths, an' some balm. But, we'll see if ya need dat last one." They would finally reach a little shophouse, one owned by her grandmother. "Uhm jus' gonna give 'im somethin' fer dat bruise on his face, obaachan~" She would tell her, as they headed towards the stairs nearby then, "C'mon, bro, we're almost there!"
βYou like me, donβt you?β
βI know you do.β
