If you don’t like doing art warmups because you want to get straight to the thing you wanna draw, do a warmup related to what you want to be drawing. I wanna draw heracross so to warm up I’m drawing roly-poly’s (pill bugs whatever).

I just find that trying to draw random shapes as warmups just makes me bored and uninterested.

I digitalized it and removed pandora in the corner cuz I didn’t like out she came out

It’s weird when someone asks how to develop an art style. Like I kept trying to draw and incorporating what I liked (big heads, fluffy, ect) and dropping what I didn’t (mouths) and eventually you’ll get your own style (sometimes against your will). Just do what you want

"everybody hates me" factoid actually just a statistical error. The average person doesn't hate you, especially not your friends. You, a person who sits in your room experiencing self loathing every day, are an outlier adn should not have been counted.

I was looking through my old posts and It’s funny that every version of this art holds up. Like this idiot on the floor is one of my favorite drawings I’ve ever done. Why this art? Why does this one just always turn out nice? Your guess is as good as mine

This is Maple! I wanted to create a traveling cat character. I was inspired by the dabloon trend over on TikTok I will admit. More rambling about them under the cut

They aren’t a merchant but if they have any extra items they’re more than happy to share. Though they love their shiny and or soft things and won’t part with those easy. If you try to offer for the ring or bracelet they will be slightly upset no matter how much you offer.

Their little bag is enchanted to hold just about anything and never fill up, anything that goes in comes out in the same state, food remains hot or cold. They keep a journal which they wrote about their travels and sometimes draw. (Yes they have a pencil in their belt the other thing in the belt is a potion)

They will try to befriend anything. This is both a threat to themselves and the one they are trying to befriend.

You know I drew this. Took hours to make it. And then redesigned one of the characters. It’s gonna bother me for the rest of time now.
