AO3 👏 TAGS 👏 ARE 👏 NOT 👏 SPOILERS 👏

i’m so tired of authors not tagging correctly because they don’t want to “spoil the fic”

correctly tagging your fic allows readers who DON’T want to read things like major character death, gore, mpreg or whatever may be their squick to filter your fic out from the main ship/fandom tag. not including the correct tags on your fic is harmful to readers and i’m tired of pretending it’s not.

“don’t like don’t read” great! i won’t! tag your fic correctly next time ffs

I knowwww ughh Sometimes it's also like I just don't want to read that sort of thing rn not that it bothers me to in general Like yea no I don't want unrequited love right now gimme some established shit You might hate that angst with a happy ending spoiling you now but when shit hits the fan ur checking if that tag is real every other chap and for gods sake guys put anything involving sexual acts in the explicit rating cus yea i love me some good smut but sometimes I just want some good old non horny stuff i appreciate it soooo much when authors tag properly and with very specific information and not vague stuff not that those are necessarily bad though I just love specifics when im trying to find a specific typa thing I wanna read yk A great way of using the tagging system which would only work if you know you let authors tag their work And if said authors tag them properly Like yall are missing out fr My friend and I talked about this but they're more into books published works They said they don't like it for this exact same thinggg Like okay don't read the tags but don't come crying if you read sumn you dont like 🧍🙌

I do find it funny to think about how Atsushi has used a gun, once during that first encounter with Akutugawa.

And than never again.

Man just decided well that didn't work, never doing it again.

Because I find it so much more funnier to think Atsushi can and does know how to use a gun.

He just doesn't see the point of using it.
