Historically accurate depiction of me being charmed by one piece.
I need to post more often lmao
Happy birthday to one of my favorite artists of all time, @where-does-the-heart-lie ,thx for existing, it’s much appreciated. 🫶
Here are some past pieces I did for ya, here’s too more in the future 🫶✨
Genuinely, I admire your breakdowns and thought process for creating your pieces. You put so much thought and care into these guys and it doesn’t go unnoticed. You’re a very big inspiration to me and many others,, I appreciate your existence 🎁🎈🎉
Anyone else from the North Blue remember watching this weird old Sora cartoon on their transponder screens growing up???
I can't find much about it other than this shot, it's all stuff about the comic book instead. I think it might be lost media at this point. 🤷
(New Images: Chopper, Franky, Brook, Jinbei)
This was ultimately quite fun and made me push my colors harder than I have in a very long while! This last batch was definitely my favorite.
Art and spoilers for Season 5 of Lego Monkie kid below!
Y’all ever start an art project and then realize that it’s WAYYYYYY out of your ability? That’s me with this piece lmao 😭 all I have to offer is this unfinished art, idk what else to do with it
Anyways, imagine if Mk’s sacrifice had worked like he intended to (as in the cycle isn’t reset).
That. Would just. I don’t even know what to say.
His family and friends living in the aftermath of it… in a universe that you know only exists because of the sacrifice of someone close to you would be so awful. And it’s not even like he sacrificed himself and just died, like someone jumping in front of a bomb. Mk was created as a PIECE of the pillar. A item. Literally the foundation of reality would have rested on his flesh and bones and everyone being forced to live with that???? Awful, horrifying, tragic, 10/10 writing (imo). And Wukong had a few agonizing minutes where he thought that was the reality, no wonder he was so distraught
Anyways what are you alls thoughts on it?
wow.... i cant believe they were abandoned and Luffy collected them like treasures.....
the rest of the strawhats/friends that were gonna be in this post but i decided against it
Not all of them were abandoned by individual people like family members and their community, but the government. Specifically Franky and Law.
Vivi was gonna be in there too but i couldnt,,,, really,,,,, fit her in there.
Sometimes, i think how beautiful is the love between all the strawhats. I'm not talking about the romantic one, but the platonical. Besides i believe that any names could describe how their relationship works.
Oh, they just love so much each other. They LIVE, they keep going for them. They watch their backs, they fight GOD for them, they would burn, drown, kill, loose limbs for keep their nakamas safe.
It's so cute the fact that they do everything together. If they bath, they bath together. If they're gonna eat? They eat together! They're gonna sleep, they sleep together. One of them got a fever, they'll gonna look after them while asleep. Someone is sleeping without an blanket? Someone will bring one for them. One of them is working? There's always someone to make them company.
They tease each other, they hit their asses, they gonna fight for the insignificant things, they gonna argue, they gonna disturb each other, they will call you dumb and hit you, they can be mean for fun, and never say "i love you", because they just gonna show their love in different ways that doesn't need words.
It's funny to think they're so close, even they spent more time apart than together. But the dedication they have for each other, I feel like it was in the stars that they would meet, and at the moment when they needed it most, they appeared in each other's lives like sacred angels and bringing good company and shaping their bonds. unique characters that make it feel more like a family than a simple pirate crew. They are far from the conventional pirates we are familiar with in fiction. Because that ship became more than a shelter, it became a home.
And one day, this crew will be disbanded, and they will be able to go on with their lives peacefully. Travel, study, maybe get married, manage somewhere... And then, will their hearts sometimes go back to the sea and think "I miss those crazy days, with those people and with my captain..."? Everything will be just memories in the very distant future, but they will always carry a part of themselves in each other. They changed their nakama's lives forever.
But they've never got a chance to say "i think you're my family. And i love you", but like i said, they don't need to say. Their actions do it for themselves. They have so much love to give.
Oh, to be loved by your friends. To be cared by them. To call the sea your home, having a place to came back, but risk your life for some people that you've meet for a little time in your life, because you learned you can love, and now you have someone to share this love. Oh, they are destined to meet, they're all made for eachother. They're soulmates.

Happy Holidays ;)
Happy Holidays everyone 💝
Here's my piece for @where-does-the-heart-lie DTIYS!
Originally that was supposed to be his hat but then I decided they work well as an eclipse actually.
And I think it'd be cool if sabo's fire was blue contrasted to Ace's orange, working together to make some spectacular fire shows.
Hope you like them, I love them dearly 😊

Thanks for the suggestion!
Doodles 🙌 mostly of Luffy. And some other guy that for sure isn't me.
ofmd is like not comedy as in sitcom but comedy as in shakespearean where it’s psychological trauma and conflicts of violence but with dick jokes and the promise of marriage in the end
So what’s with the soup in OFMD?
I’ve seen a few takes on what the soup symbolizes in OFMD S2 because it does come up a weird amount of times. I’ve seen takes that the soup is a lie and shouldn’t be trusted. Takes that the soup represents love and all that is good. I’ve seen takes that the soup isn’t anything at all, it’s just soup.
I don’t agree with those takes. But I do believe that the soup is more than just soup.
In my opinion, the soup represents community.
Community doesn’t necessarily mean love. A community can be arrayed against you as much as it can be with you. You can choose not to have a community, to break bread, with someone. But a community is something most of us desire and as Izzy notes in the trailer, being a pirate is about being part of something.
- Zheng Yi Sao makes damn good soup. Symbolically, I believe this is a reflection of how she runs a tight ship. How effective she is as pirate queen and in general as a leader of her community. People in her community are well treated. Her leadership style, like the broth of the soup, is balanced. Had Olu remained with her, he would have been well treated. She wasn’t being duplicitous with Stede and his crew. Her soup is great, her community is great, and they would have been well fed there had they stayed.
The soup isn’t a value judgement on anything beyond the quality of the community offered. Should they stay? What happens now that they didn’t? Not relevant to the soup metaphor. We’ll find out what happens when you reject Zheng’s amazing soup. At the very least, you just don’t get any more of it.
- Hornigold offers soup to Ed. Ed rejects it. He finds Hornigold’s community poisonous. He doesn’t trust it and he doesn’t want to join it.
It’s simple as that. The soup wasn’t necessarily literally poisoned. The more relevant metaphor is breaking bread with someone as a sign of trust. Ed wants nothing to do with Hornigold’s community.
Most likely where this is leading is a continued used of soup as a metaphor for Ed and Stede and the crew figuring out what kind of community they want to build together. Is the broth balanced? Is it poisoned? Is it too salty, too sweet? Who do we share it with? Who do we refuse to accept soup from? It’s all about community.
scrappy little doodles that i never posted
one piece made me realize how good the found family trope is,,there r so many found families in op that ican’t even fit them all if i wanted to.liek the way one piece masters the concept of “you can find your family anywhere”. if u love the found family trope and havent watched one piece literaly what are u doing
one piece shows that you can still find your family even when you lose yours,, you arent forced to consider biological family your real family.sanji abandoning his terrible abusive biological family and finding zeff, and later joining the straw hats,, robin watching her mother and her community dying in front of her, having sauls parting words be that she will one day find friends who truly care about her,,years later meeting the straw hats, who literally declared war on the world to save her and would do it again,, law also saw his family and community die before his eyes and became consumed with hate ,,doflamingo found him and spent 3 years manipulating him and trying to mold him into a monster ,which then corazon takes law after hearing that law carries the will of d,,law and cora grow a bond , cora doing anything to save the terminally ill boy and protecting him from the hands of doflamingo,,when cora dies, law is determined to avenge his death, and he commemorates him through every single thing he does,, law learns that there was never a reason corazon loved him,and that you cant stick a reason to why somebody loves you
found family in one piece is important cuz it shows that a family can be anything. theres no such thing as to what a family is supposed to look like,, it represents many of the reasons why found family comes to be. loss, abuse, bonds,,your family is just people that genuinely respect and care about you
the lesson here is that the found family trope solos and one piece is goated
I appreciate you
I need more of the AceSabo fusion booping Luffy🥺🥺
Another one.
A goofy hydrozoan.
