Color palette help please

I colored my character and I’m not satisfied with some of the colors I chose. So, I’m asking any of the lovely artists in this website for some ideas for better colors for this boy. I’m keeping the black and red, I just don’t know how to put it in a way that would look good.

You guys know that one scene in Stranger Things where there were two characters who had a thing for each other, but they keep fighting until that one guy snaped at them? I’d like someone to make it Knuxouge and have Shadow lose it at their bickering. I’m honestly surprised nobody did that already. Unless I missed it somewhere, if so, let me know.
