(little drabble)

Yoriichi watches the man -- large, ethereal-looking man -- tilts his head as his ruby eyes dart up and down in interest. The boy blinks, unsure what to make of this. It's one thing to be suddenly greeted with such a sight of a being, moreover that he sees the massive differences in the inside of the man.

Whereas the staff of his household manages a steady rhythmically heart beat, this larger being has his heart moves in a way Yoriichi has never seen before. Out of the world-like.

" Yosh! " The man starts, his voice surprisingly airy and light, but still full of life. " Nice to meet you! I am Nika! "

The boy stares for a bit. " I am...Yoriichi. "

" Yoriichi. " Nika leans in, his grin resembling the beams of sunlight. " Well, it's not everyday I get to meet the embodiment of nature. "

He speaks strange words, not that Yoriichi mind much. The man, or whatever he is, shifts on his spot, movements bouncy and uneven. Nika tilts his head up, narrowing his eyes for a moment as he surveys the sky above.

" What a nice weather! Wanna go play together? " He looks back at Yoriichi, holding out his hand.

Yoriichi glances at the position of the shadows cast over the ground from the familiar tree near the small room he lives in. Mitchikatsu should be training by now, his father is currently out for a meeting, and his mother is in her room sewing. The staff cares less about him.

Oh well. The less he's being seen near the main court, the better.

He takes Nika's hand, or finger. The size difference is rather comedical.

" Okay. "

Phrase of the day #1

5. Hello, I have a very specific ask. I am wondering if you know any fics where LWJ found out that he and WWX got married (and maybe even have a child/ren together) either by time-travel (LWJ past self traveling to future or future selves/kids visit the past) or he got amnesia and did not remember and found out again? I know this is very particular set of scenarios but I have read a few fics similar to those and I really like them (especially when mourning LWJ was given a glimpse of hope during those 13 years). Misunderstood by Silver_Flame_2724 (M, 207k, wangxian, WIP) - but scifikimmi says it updates regularly and adds that the characters aren’t viewing ‘the series’ but like… they basically are cus they view wwx’s memories so its adjacent to what you’re looking for.
