I know she only alluded to Eros and Psyche to put Debling off of proposing to Penelope, but it is telling that Cressida is seemingly more clued into the Penelope/Colin dynamic and their feelings for each other than Eloise was.

At first you didn’t have a plan. You wanted to test him, see how he would react...

Recently he would come to your work place and wait either at a table, watching you work...

Or outside hiding in a dark alley with his hoodie on. He thought he was being sneaky but you knew he was there...

The first thing you did was ignore him in public. He would raise his hand wave and you would walk past him or simply not aknowledge him

When he was at the dinner you woukd ask TK to take care of his order. You could see how much it pissed him off...

This little game kept on going until he snaped (a little) and grabed your arm when you were passing by

His eyes litteraly begged for your attention, his cheeks lightly pink,

you didn’t know if the tears that were creeping in the corner of his eyes were of anger, sadness or desperation...

But you allowed him a conversation, after all ignoring him was starting to get boring...

You exchange phone numbers and at some point, maybe in he let something slip in his text or you just noticed the weird van who was always parked in front of your window...

You noticed he was REALLY stalking you... in a weird way it made things more exiting for you

You had to find ways to make him pay without him noticing and he was ALWAYS looking at you...

Him... looking at you... you

A part of you hated the fact that it took him years for him to look at you. If he had noticed you back in high school you...

Well it’s not what happen, he didn’t notice you, in fact he despised you and he broke your heart... never forget that

The two of you would start to text each other, you allowed yourself to be more flity with him just to tease him a bit.

Then in person you would act all innocent and clueless

When you knew he was watching you at your appartment you would put some kind of show for him,

wearing lighter clothes, staying at your windows more often...anything to drive him crazy

Sometime when you were especially bored you would plan a date night with one of your friends and made sure he was watching

One time you "accidently" called him and let him hear as you flirted with them

A part of you knew it was a dangerous game. He was stalking you after all. This guy was clearly unstable...

But the grunts of frustration he would make when you talk to him about how much you loved your friends...

The desperation in his eyes when you were flirting with someone else in front of him...

His eyes...

On you...

To make sure he didn't do anything too violent you would spend a specific amount of time with him each time you emotionally tortured him

A five minutes conversation each time you flirted with a custoner at work in front of him...

A "date" each time you would have date night with your friends...

Just enough to keep him hooked.

You thought everything was under control... but underestimated how much he loved you.

You were going back home after one of your "date" with TK. Maybe it was mean to your friend, knowing he had a little crush on you but you were clear that you saw him as a friend and that all the flirting was purely platonic. You forgot to mention that it also was to drive your stalker crazy. Like before you manage to "accidently" call him and let him hear you spend time with TK. He was probably watching you... you, just you, only you~

You'll be lying if you said you didn't enjoy his attention. Deep down you wished things were different, that you could love him fully... but...

You pretended to noticed that you had called him and and cealled him back.

"Hi Peter. I accidently called you again, haha. How you doing?" You only heard heavy breathing as a responce. "Peter? Are you... are you there?" You asked. You heard a low chuckle before he hang up The next thing you heard was footsteps of someone running toward you. Before you knew it a cloth was covering yoir mouth and your vision slowly started to fade.

"Goodnight darling~"

Spider is with the Sully's in Awatulu, he's trying to adapt but it's proving harder than with the Omaticaya.

More Tsireya and Lo'ak being lovey dovey together

Lo'ak processing the death of his brother as well as he can while refusing to truly open up with his family

Kiri sneaking away to connect to Eywa because she's not allowed to anymore.

Tuk getting closer to Spider after neteyam's death as a way to cope with the lost of her brother

A flashback so we can see how Neteyam and Spider relationship was before they grew apart

Maybe a scene or two where Spider and Neytiri interract alone

Like hust one or two scene where they are alone for only a few moments and the atmosphere is uncomfortable

Jake trying to be a dad to Spider and Spider not knowing how to react

Aonung and Lo'ak actualy becoming friends

Ekko asking: "can we just pretend like it's the first time?"

Since his version of himself is already dating Powder

And it's Powder that initiates it. Meaning that she's the one that made the first move in their universe?!😭

WAIT i also want a polin au where the featherington sisters have a close relationship, maybe because they all understand what it means to be all daughters of a less than popular barony. With a neglectful dad and a mom putting pressure on all of them, they turn to each other to confide their worries and stuff. It’s just an overall sweet relationship. They don’t show affection in public, since their Mama tells them it was unbecoming to show affection in public. Portia loves her daughters very much, she just has some issues regarding showing affection.

They all probably figured out that Pen is LW, with their relationship being so close, it was easy to figure out who LW is. They didn’t confront or stop her, mostly because they saw how much pride and fun Pen is having with it.

Prudence and Philippa, as the two oldest, dotes on and are protective of Pen (Felicity too if we wanted), because they understand that Pen loves deeply. They can see it through her actions, her kindness and her people pleasing (i.e. her relationship with Eloise). That’s why they’re so concerned when they noticed how much Pen adores Colin, and subtly discourage her from holding those feelings. They know the Bridgertons are bad news to them. They all might be part of the Ton, but they’re different compared to their families.

Prudence always watches Pen and Colin like a hawk, which is kind of why she’s not really married yet. She wants to make sure that Colin doesn’t do any funny business to Pen. So when Pen confesses about what she heard Colin say at their ball and (and also confesses about Eloise and the LW business), Prudence was livid. Was about to march into Bridgerton house and everything. But Philippa, the voice of reason, points out that they don’t have any power compared to the Bridgertons. So Prudence doesn’t and instead starts scheming on how to best protect their little sister.

They also say little lies to Portia, just so Pen can finally wear what she likes. Portia finally gives their opinions some value, since they’re married women at this point. They know Pen hates her clothes, and finally not being under their mother’s thumb, they can finally help Pen in some way.

Anyway, the next season, Pru and Pip finally decides to show just how close they are. Finally married (and recruiting their husbands into being protective of Pen), they do everything they can to run interference whenever Pen is about to have some time with Eloise and Colin.

What they don’t realize, is that Pen is also greatly adored by the Bridgertons, and so clearly wished and expected Pen to join them soon (once Colin pulls his head out of ass LMAO) so they also try to interfere when Pru and Pip tries to take Pen out of talking with Colin.

Honestly, i just want a Prudence and Anthony stand off as both the eldest Featherington sibling and the eldest Bridgerton sibling. I think it would be funny.

I just read that Penelope ruined lives when she simply saved Colin from a toxic marriage to a woman who apparently did not love him and wanted to trap him. Don't get me wrong, the whole storyline was very gray, Marina wanted to save herself and her baby, and certainly Penelope could have handled the situation differently but she had very little chance. Who would have believed her rather than Marina and Portia? Maybe only Eloise.

As for Eloise, she just panicked and acted impulsively to protect her friend and her identity from the Queen. Once again, who would have believed her? She is a wallflower. She is never considered by anyone. She is constantly bullied by the ton and her family. For this reason she created LW to have a voice and to mock the hypocrisies of people who constantly belittle her. If only Eloise had not been so focused on herself and watched her best friend, she would have found out the truth much sooner. Literally all their conversations are about Eloise and her family, Eloise was never interested enough in her friend's life.

Penelope has flaws but she is maybe the only character with a complex personality in that show.

She get so much hate just because she’s not “conventionally” attractive. She’s beautiful, though.

The "fat funny friend" : Maxine

I’m just gonna write everything I have about her character.

She’s Lucy’s (perfect girl) best friend

The two of them knew each other since they were babies. They are close like sisters.

Maxine have siblings, a big sister and a big brother but she’s not close to them at all.

She fell for Duncan (jock boy) the moment she saw her. At the time she wasn’t really self conscious about her appearance. She grew up mostly ignored by her family but close to Lucy and her parents.

When Duncan and Elias (sunny guy) began pursuing Lucy the four of them started hanging out together.

At this time Maxine was naive and in love. She had talked with Lucy about her crush on Duncan when they were talking about their crushes.

At this point Lucy wasn’t really sure of her feelings for Elias... or at least she wasn’t ready to say it out loud.

From the girls point of view, Lucy was coming along to hang out with Elias when Duncan and Maxine were spending time together

Of course Maxine would think that Duncan liked her. They looked at each other... well Maxine looked at Duncan... and Duncan looked at Lucy, but Maxine didn’t know that.

Duncan was being nice to her and paying some kind of attention to her. He must have had some feelings for her...

For the first few weeks the four of them went on dates where Maxine would try to spend time alone with Duncan while he would try to spend time with Lucy instead

She thought he was shy... even tho he had a teputation of being a big flirt but she thought that it was different with her because he really liked her

She finally got it when after a day where Duncan was particularly moody, she devided to surprise him after his training session

What she truly found out was that Duncan was getting sick of Elias monopolizing Lucy’s attention

He wanted to spend time with her not with her fat friend...

Maxine went back home on her own. she usually drive back with Lucy and her parents but right now she needed to be alone

... plus her father was about to get home from his buisness trip. She wanted to talk to him. He was always there to listen to her problem...

Except this time he didn’t came back and her outlook of life will change after that

Some precision, her father is not dead he just left her family. It’s important to know that even tho she was kind of neglected by her mother at the time before that, she didn’t have any issue with her appearance. But combining hearing your crush tell his friend that he’s tired of hanging out with you and your father leaving your mother for another woman (especialy if you look a lot like your mother), it can lower your perception of yourself.

I might do another post detailing the different relationships between the 4 of them and how they work.

The Cowper's neighborgs AU (season 1)

I want to expand on this AU where the featherington are the Cowper's AU.

Like I said before, at first Cressida and Penelope weren't friend. Cressida was just another bully, just like her sisters. But being far from the bridgerton she had to confront them more often than not. I think in their childhood Cressida would value Prudence and Philipa's friendship more because they seem that they would be more popular once on the marriage market. I headcanon that in her childhood years her parents, mainly her mother, were nicer to her. But unlike Portia, lady cowper didn't want to shield her daughter from the harsh reality. She told her that her main goal before entering the marriage market was to surround herself with people that would elevate status.

Cressida would look down on Prudence and Philipa but with Penelope it was worst. She wasn't that unpleasing to the eye but her eloquence was lacking.

At some point Cressida's grand mother dies, she was the only member of her family who was affectionnate to her, it affected Cressida greatly and the only one who noticed was Penelope. She offered her a silent support that she needed most at that time. She acted less vile against her after that. They truly became friend close to their first season. I think during the first or second ball of the season. It had been really hard on both of them and Cressida was acting particularly vile that night wich had become rare. Penelope actually snaped and told her what she had on her heart.

They had a back and forth that made them realise they had more in common that they thought. They started to become friend after that. When Cressida's parent ask why she would surround herself with the likes of Penelope Featherington, she simply said that it would paint her in a better light and enhance her beauty. Her mother had doubt about that but her father couldn,t care less. The only thing he wanted was for his daughter to find a husband as quick as possible so he can get rid of her.

Their friendship is really diffrent from Pen and Eloïse's friendship. For Pen and El, their friendship was always comfortable, kind of like a refuge especially for Pen. But with Cressida it's more of an understanding, they are both in very grounded in their reality but with very diferent views of their futur.

I like to think that in their first season they were less worried about their futur. Penelope was still hopefull and dreaming that Colin would one day reciprocate her feelings, and Cressida was certain she would find a husband easily in her first season. Cressida wanted a high prize, she wanted the prince, she aim and she missed, witch was even more upseting concidering that Daphne didn't even marry the prince afterward.

The end of their first season was hard on both of them, but since Pennelope had shown support for her when her grand mother died Cressida decided to do the same. During that time, in-between season, they became really close.

I wonder if there is a much older draft of Avatar 2 where Spider actually was adopted by the Sullies

These are two early concept arts of Jake and Neteyam's songcords, both of which feature the "unofficial adoption of Spider" as an important event. The creative team recently clarified that these are old concepts and shouldn't be considered canon, but the fact that they exist implies there was a time in the past where Spider would've been more like a part of the family rather than the stray he was in the final version. Even the old concept art of Neytiri's songcord features Spider's "adoption," implying a much more positive relationship between them than what they had in the movie.

I wonder what the older vision for Avatar 2 was like, and what other changes it underwent to become the final version we eventually saw on screen. I can imagine that if they were originally going to have Spider be closer to the Sullies, they must've changed it because of the decision to bring back Quaritch and have him undergo character development. The beginnings of Quaritch's future character development and the fact that he survived the final battle of A2 at all only occurred because he developed a relationship with Spider. If Spider was a part of the Sully family and had a healthy parental relationship to compare Quaritch to, I doubt he would've ever bonded with and subsequently saved him. Plus, if Neytiri "unofficially adopted" Spider, she probably wouldn't have threatened to kill him, which would've eliminated one of the most intense scenes in the movie. Ultimately, I understand the narrative reasoning behind making Spider the "stray" of the group and think it was the right choice, but I'm still curious to know what different ideas they had in mind for Spider when they made the old concept art.

Man, I would've loved to be a fly on the wall in the writer's room for those years when they were hashing out the script! I wonder what other things changed over the course of the development, like how did they decide to kill off Neteyam, and how did they decide to make Kiri the way she is. I'd also love to know how they reached the decision to turn the events of "The High Ground" into a comic series and how they decided to split "The Way of Water" and "Fire and Ash" into two separate movies. I remember watching an interview with James Cameron where he discussed how difficult it was to split TWOW and FAA into two movies. If I'm remembering correctly, he said one of the big challenges was some important character moment for Spider that they had to shuffle around to get the narrative to flow. I wonder what that moment is and how they decided to put it in FAA rather than TWOW.

I don't know if any older drafts of the A2 script exist, but if they do I'd love to get my hands on them one day and read through to see all the little changes and different ideas they had.
