Rose: I’m kind of crushing on someone, but I’m worried about telling you who it is, because you’re not going to like it Albus: Just rip the bandage off. Rose: It’s Scorpius. Albus: Put the bandage back on.
I cannot wait to publish the chapters of my fic that give these vibes. Currently wishing I could just mass upload the whole thing.
Scorpius: This is my gran, Narcissa.
Rose: Pleasure.
Narcissa: Well, hello there!
Narcissa: Now, do you prefer being called Rose or Satan's Mistress? Because we've heard it both ways.
Me: :(

cinnamon roll Scorpius found here for anyone who needs a new fic!

There's so many fics of Scorpius Malfoy, and one thing I find the most amusing is that fanfic portrays him to be this confident, badass, ladies man, but Scorpius is actually a whole cinnamon roll who couldn't hurt a fly.
Ok but can we talk about how "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dols is so scorose coded. Like just imagine Scorpius thinking about Rose while listeing to it. Also wonderwall
Regulus: "How mad would mum be if we shagged them?"
Sirius: "Oh she'd be thrilled."
did you take the pictures on your banner/ prof pic? they're cute!
Thank you honey! Yes, I did. They're both pictures I took on a recent holiday. Highly recommend the chai at Thinking Cup in Boston, MA (the profile photo) and a trip to the Boston Public Library (banner photo)-I felt like I'd died and gone to literary heaven in there.
why the username?
Ah hello!
So there's this whole "each house in Hogwarts has a secret room" theory, in which each Hogwarts founder created their own version of the Chamber of Secrets but less sinister for only the worthiest of students to uncover. In my mind, Rowena would have a tea room + library hidden somewhere in the castle. Thus the Ravenclaw's Tea Room handle.
Hi there! I'm Bria, or B as I sign my fics, and I am so happy you're here. I'm in my mid-twenties and absolutely obsessed with all things Harry Potter. I'm a dramione girl through and through, but also love scorose, wolfstar and jegulus. My current WIPs, The Sun and the Moon (scorose), It Happened One Night (Jegulus), and Half-Lived (Modern Jegulus AU) can be found on AO3 for registered users under @ravenclawstearoom.
My other interests include finding the best chai latte in every city I visit, consuming literature and poetry like it's my full time job, and treating my pets like the spoiled children they are. I am married to my dearest friend in the world who is the gentle Hufflepuff to my brash Ravenclaw, and my unofficial beta for every one of my works (so blame him for any mistakes you find as you read).
I love new friends so don't be shy, shoot me a message if you would like to connect. Take good care of yourselves, loves.
xx,
B

If you asked most people whether they believed in love or not, they’d probably say they didn’t. Yet that’s not necessarily what they truly think. It’s just the way they defend themselves against what they want. They believe in it, but pretend they don’t until they’re allowed to. Most people would throw away their cynicism if they could. The majority just never get the chance.
Alain de Botton, Essays in Love (via the-book-diaries)
It’s like he’s got two emotions - pissed off and sadistically amused.
Rainbow Rowell, Carry On (via the-book-diaries)
You’re much too straightforward to be able to pretend to be what you aren’t.
Madeline L’Engle, A Wrinkle in Time (via the-book-diaries)
Isn’t giving up allowed sometimes? Isn’t it okay to say, ‘This really hurts, so I’m going to stop trying?’ ‘It sets a dangerous precedent.’ ‘For avoiding pain?’ ‘For avoiding life.’
Rainbow Rowell, Fangirl (via the-book-diaries)
Friendship- my definition- is built on two things. Respect and trust. Both elements have to be there. And it has to be mutual. You can have respect for someone, but if you don’t have trust, the friendship will crumble.
Stieg Larsson, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (via the-book-diaries)
Perhaps it is true that we do not really exist until there is someone there to see us existing, we cannot properly speak until there is someone who can understand what we are saying in essence, we are not wholly alive until we are loved.
Alain de Botton, Essays in Love (via the-book-diaries)
If I know what love is, it is because of you.
Hermann Hesse, Steppenwolf (via the-book-diaries)
I don’t understand it any more than you do, but one thing I’ve learned is that you don’t have to understand things for them to be.
Madeline L’Engle, A Wrinkle in Time (via the-book-diaries)
There were days when she was very happy without knowing why. She was happy to be alive and breathing, when her whole being seemed to be one with the sunlight, the color, the odors, the luxuriant warmth of some perfect Southern day. She liked then to wander alone into strange and unfamiliar places. She discovered many a sunny, sleepy corner, fashioned to dream in. And she found it good to dream and to be alone and unmolested. There were days when she was unhappy, she did not know why—when it did not seem worth while to be glad or sorry, to be alive or dead; when life appeared to her like a grotesque pandemonium and humanity like worms struggling blindly toward inevitable annihilation
