The more Fliqpy tries to flirt, the worse he ends up getting. So it turns out that while Fliq is gnawing his elbows and suffering from wet dreams, Lumpy believes he simply doesn't like him.

But Fliqpy will learn! First, he will learn to understand his feelings, then accept them, then express them, then express them appropriately and in moderation. (It's just more fun for me to throw up problems than to demonstrate their solution, so I just designate them alphabetically ahahahahahahahahah.)

Not sure if this counts or if its even an idiom, but there's a phrase from one of my favourite games (Psychonauts).

It's based on one of the character's music bands that wouldn't have happened without all of them, since they represent different senses and musicians
