i don’t know if people will agree w me but young remus gives me toxic intellectual fuckboy vibes, like he’s an absolute ass but he wears corduroy and reads you kafka and he’ll listen to kanye like he needs it to breathe and complains about how sad and poor and scary he is

I honestly hate when people make Peter some annoying git or a tag along in marauders fics. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE some of them, and they’re literally my favourite book series. But it still ticks me off when Peter is written as some forgettable idiot. For gods sake, the marauders LOVED HIM. he was their brother, there was a reason why James and Lily trusted him. And he made his decision off of fear, not hatred for the others. Keep in mind I am in no way justifying what he did, it was selfish and horrible. I still hate the little rat for what he did, I’m just trying to say that he wasn’t just someone that the others didn’t love or care about.
