It's with a heavy but hopeful heart that I watch Palestinian families fundraiser on here, slowly accumulating the precious little money to go around that they need to survive. However, not everyone is so lucky. A lot of Palestinians that have not had that kind of luck, that did not get early verification, that did not get massive platforms behind them from large bloggers, have approached me in my inbox, asking me kindly to do what I can for them. It kills me that I have so little to give myself, but I've seen this platform collectively raise enough to change someone's life. I've made a list of Palestinian fundraisers that are extremely low on funds, in the hope that drawing attention to people who have not been lucky at all can help turn that luck around. I don't know how some people can see the atrocities happening in Gaza and blame the Palestinian people for it. I don't know how you can see multiple generations die in less than a week and think that's right or justified in any way. I have seen so many people post the most depraved, unempathetic statements about people in Gaza. That innocent people somehow deserve to die, deserve to be mocked, to be stamped out. I just don't get it. How can you look at your fellow man suffering and find joy in that? How can you see families torn apart and somehow hate them for simply existing? How hard is it to be a decent person? How hard is it to be empathetic, or hell, just kind? If you are in any way in support or are neutral to Israel's horrible actions, you are either very misinformed and I URGE you to educate yourself, or you are willingly ignoring or encouraging the suffering of the Palestinian people, to which you are the lowest of the low, the sickest of the sick.
