not every school has karasuno’s system about the class thing tho so we dunno 😔 but in terms of vball its true atsumu’s intelligence is a 5/5

aya but im pretty sure at least in haikyuu they kept all the class systems pretty much the same, just with more or less classes than karasuno, like how terushima is in class 7 during his second year while karasuno only goes up to class five in second year

but like yea in volleyball as well hes smart

• one time oikawa and iwaizumi had a bad fight, and the entire day it shows through in their classes and iwaizumi is grumpier than usual and doesn't sit in class for lunch opting to go to the teachers lounge instead and oikawa misses lunch entirely and grades papers instead and the students are extremely worried and they know iwaizumi won't let up and honestly they're a tad bit scared to ask but they ask oikawa when he looks like he's about to lose his shit and oikawa doesn't say anything because obvs personal matter but the students are like fuck it were taking charge and they devise a plan to get them both in the same room and when iwaizumi gets in to the class room, they tell him something happened to oikawa and dammit he's mad but he'd still drop everything for tooru and he rushed in and he sees oikawa just grading papers, lunch left untouched and he's like wtf and the students lock the door behind them and they're forced to talk it out and it ends with them passionately slightly making out and when the students open the door iwas tie's disheveled and oikawas hairs a mess and their shirts are untucked, collars askew

• on valentine's day oikawa leaves a bouquet of flowers on Iwaizumis desk before he arrives and Iwaizumi leaves a stack of chocolates on oikawas as a surprise and leave the classrooms and see each other coming out of their classes in the hall and they're like "what are you doing"

"no no, what are you doing?"

• during assemblies they both have line duty and they always stand at the back bickering and flirting with each other and the students from their classes just ignore the entire assembly and listen to them talk about the most random domestic things

• back to matsukawa as the librarian, the students start to notice that the teachers both disappear around the same time both of them heading to the library and they come back, slightly different.

oikawas hair gel is gone and iwaizumis collar is pulled up higher than necessary and they're shirts are just slightly untucked. only noticable if you pay close attention, and the students figure it out from matsun because he warns them not to come into the library at the same time as the teachers leave their classrooms

• oikawas naturally flirty, iwaizumis "I'll make your knees weak and your brain go flat" flirty

• when oikawas in the middle of a heated discussion, iwaizumi flashes him a smirk across the hall and oikawa needs to sit down gulp some water because damn what was he saying and why wasn't it about iwaizumi and his beautiful mouth

• iwa straightened oikawas tie once before a test and oikawa sat dumbfounded for the entire 1.5 hours just flushed to his toes and weak in his limbs

• iwaizumi got done with coaching and it was hot outside so he was still in the hall with his sleeves rolled up to his elbows and shirt half tucked and oikawa was on his way to tease him and iwaizumi just turns around and goes in this raspy tired voice, "yes tooru?" and oikawa suddenly cannot breathe and he's just in his classroom staring him up and down and the students are like "maybe prop open a window, he looks like he's gonna pass out"

• oikawa sits on iwas lap once as a joke and iwa gets so flustered that he just kisses oikawa right then and there and pushes him off and continues teaching while oikawas on his ass completely floored

• they have a faculty volleyball match once and they're on opposing teams and iwas team wins and he's so excited he pulls oikawa through the net and kisses him and oikawas head goes blank just iwaizumi iwaizumi iwaizumi iwaizumi, on repeat
