My biggest headcanon is that Jason was comforted by Death after he died.

That she soothed his tears before gently clasping his hand in hers. Guiding him to a place for resting.

"It's okay, Jason. Just grab my hand, and I will take you to someplace you can rest."

When he later came back to life, he would look down at his hand. Now much larger than it's had been back then.

But missing the warmth of her.

As she led the way to a place he no longer can recall.

I decided to test out the blaze function, and ??? Wth??? Is this what people need to do to make sure their post is seen to a niche audience?

Back in 2012-2014, I could make a post tagged for a rare character, and most visiting the tag would be able to see it.

Hear Me Out: Rook as Tim Drake’s new codename

Tim Drake (Robin, Red Robin, & Drake) needs his own codename and prefferably one he won’t share with a burger restuarant…or Batman’s biological son.

From wikipedia:

The rook is a piece in the game of chess. It may move any number of squares horizontally or vertically without jumping, and it may capture an enemy piece on its path; additionally, it may participate in castling. Each player starts the game with two rooks, one in each corner on their own side of the board. Formerly, the rook (from Persian رخ rokh/rukh, meaning chariot) was alternatively called the tower, marquess, rector, and comes (count or earl)…

The rook (Corvus frugilegus) is a member of the family Corvidae in the passerine order of birds… It is a large, gregarious, black-feathered bird, distinguished from similar species by the whitish featherless area on the face…Like other corvids, they are intelligent birds with complex behavioural traits and an ability to solve simple problems… It has black feathers that often show a blue or bluish-purple sheen in bright sunlight. Further thoughts:

The stylised “R” is uniquely Tim Drake’s in my opinion. Taking the name Rook would allow him to keep his “R.” 

Writers could toy with various thematic connections with all of the different meanings and alternatives of Rook, i.e. tower, marguees, rector, comes, chariot, and a very smart bird.

My favorite Tim Drake look is the One Year Later outfit. I love the simple design; the red, yellow, black combo; and the scalloped cape. 

As Rook, I can imagine him dressed in dark blueish-purple with greenish-blue seems and accents. Purple against a black scalloped cape might look cool. A black domino mask would suffice, but I’m also a fan of Gatchaman helmets and pointed nose peices.

I dreamed last night that Tim Burton and Guillermo Del Toro collaborated on a live action TV show about the batfamily.

I dreamed that I was watching it up to when Tim became Robin, and was disappointed when i woke, because i didn't get to finish watching it. 😭

It was like a mix of Tim Burtons batman, Hellboy, and the Wednesday series in the way it was filmed.

not to be a killjoy but it's still crazy to me that it's considered mean to be like "maybe you should read / play / watch the source material before creating fanworks and diving into the fandom" bc every time i see somebody going "i havent played disco elysium or know anything about it tbh but uwu here's harry and kim kissing" idk maybe you should engage with it. maybe you should play the anti-capitalist surrealist game where you investigate the murder of a mercenary who led the gang rape of a foreign girl and process that for a bit? and then you can do cutesy mlm or whatever idc. but like at the absolute bare minimum you should understand what the source material involves otherwise we get the phenomenon of people joining a dragon age server and wanting content warnings for like, mage racism. like it's fine to ship and transform the genre into whatever but if you arent comfortable with discussions of the actual source content itself then maybe the fandom isnt for you and a different one is. peace and love.

Im gonna say it:

Some fans want to control the narrative when it comes to uplifting their fave in the batfamily by bashing their least favorite character. And all because some of the latter's fans are being mean by writing "angsty woobie fics," where their fave is either the villain, or simply just forgotten.

And no, this isn't just about one specific character, but all of them.

... i just find it strange some fans are up in arms over fanfiction. ( ￣-￣) Shit that isnt even canon, when the comics are right there?

i’m so tired of authors not tagging correctly because they don’t want to “spoil the fic”

correctly tagging your fic allows readers who DON’T want to read things like major character death, gore, mpreg or whatever may be their squick to filter your fic out from the main ship/fandom tag. not including the correct tags on your fic is harmful to readers and i’m tired of pretending it’s not.

I would like to understand why people don't like Bernard...

like, did he do something bad to be so hated? or do people just hate him because he's dating Tim now? It's kind of illogical to me, you know? It doesn't make that much sense. and the same people say he has no salt or personality, but they haven't even tried to evaluate the character before.

and Bernard is not bad, far from it. He is a great, understanding and supportive boyfriend to Tim. They are two weirdos together!!! and that is cool

so unless there is a real reason for him to be so hated. no one will ever make me hate him! Bernard is too iconic for me to hate him, I mean, the guy thinks Batman is a demigod-demogorgon and that's funny.

Bernard Dowd has grown on me like never before. Whether it's his canon character or the fan version of him, I love him, I just love him!

As someone who had a coffee addiction not long ago, not to mention sleep deprivation and workaholic issues, I HC strongly that Tim Drake also suffers from regular migraines before he crashes and needs to get help.

I had to put myself on a two week leave because of my migraine due to overconsumption on coffee and energy drinks, giving me regular body shakes and heavy drops in blood pressure. Because, after a while, you actually become somewhat immune to the energized effect of coffee. I decided to oneshot daily energy drinks to work through my work, which also affected my sleep and fatigue.

Now, imagine Tim Drake dealing with this BS + missing his spleen.

Dude would NOT last months with this before crashing. 😬

Tldr: coffee and energy drinks addiction fudges with your body. Don't do it.

EDIT: Even if I'm trying to better my habits by cutting down on coffee now, I still deal with daily small headaches, bodyaches, and migraines. Seriously, don't get addicted to coffee, and value your sleep.

A bit of a cute baby Tim Drake idea:

Imagine Drake Industries has a meeting with Wayne Industries. Janet, who is actually a good mom (sue me, she is!) takes baby!Tim with her because she couldn't find anyone to babysit her 1 year old.

During the meeting, Tim gets fussy. But before she can politely step out to calm him down, Bruce smiles (a real one, because Bruce Wayne has a soft spot for babies) goes "here, let me help you." He helps calm down Tim, to the Drake pairs utter surprise.

During the rest of the meeting, Tim, now back in Janets arms, just stares at Bruce intensely. Like most babies do when they try to familiarize a face.

Tim doesn't remember this.

But Bruce certainly does.

(He even has pictures.)

Tim and Izuku teaming up would have me in a chokehold.

You're either a Tim fan who demonize Damian, or a Damian fan who demonize Tim.
