Ever felt such anxiety when your legs stop working completely? Where you can’t move anything underneath your shoulders really. Where you have no other option than to stare up to the ceiling, waiting for your body to respond again. Alone with your thoughts. No clue what happened or why, just accepting that it’s a part of your life now.
Had the first of these attacks over a year ago. It lasted an hour. The next as well. Then 50. 45. 30. I still have them, but mostly 15-20 minutes before I get my legs to move.
I still don’t know what causes them, but I have learned to see them coming. Days in advance where my autism can be a little extra, social skills go down for a moment, hyper-attention goes way up. Or random heavy breathing, now that I have a job can last the whole afternoon, where I spend every break meditating, 5 minutes at a time.
One day I will learn to counter them

It was so fun! Got a selfie with Mark Waid and he signed my Kingdom Come! It was amazing!
And got an X-Men poster SIGNED by R. B. Silva! As well as some classics to my bookshelf like “Whatever happened to the Man of Tomorrow?” and “Demon in a Bottle”

The Choice
The Choice. The important choice. For some, the final choice. The one needed to be made every single day. Choose if you can find the search for strength to fight just another day. Weak legs, fake smile, empty heart. The thoughts, the bullies, the oppressors, the search for the light in the end of the tunnel. The quiet fight. The unseen fight. The one bypassers won’t know about it until it’s too late.
The maths’ not perfect, I didn’t keep it in a journal or anything but 10 years ago now, I made a choice. I stared down into the abyss and said No and I have been saying No everyday since. Some days have been easier than others. And I’m grateful I did what I did. 10 years later, I have strengthened my bond with my family, I went to the most amazing high school and made friends. Once a childhood bully is today the best of them. I’ve travelled, I’ve made memories, I’ve gotten awards, met idols. I got to hold my nephews, hear them speak and walk and laugh with pure unfiltered joy. I got jobs and earned colleagues’ respect and proved myself and my oppressors that they were wrong. I’ve been a rock, I have inspired others to follow their dreams. I do matter, I should breathe this air too.
10 years and this topic is still as important to be as ever. 4 days ago was Suicide Prevention Day. I really wanted to make something about it but couldn’t come up with anything worth presenting until now.
So a friendly reminder, keep in touch with the people around you, check up on them, be there for them. Be a rock. Or ask for one. Turn to your contacts, you might be surprised how much they care if you let them.
Keep fighting, it will be worth it in the end.
Were originally planning to just redraw an old basic post, the two of them jumping over a rooftop but felt… nah. I’m not satisfied with my Miraculous-work. I need to do something big, something detailed, something filled with love and wow and oof. And I had done like posters and phone-backgrounds before but never given Miraculous a real character-filled wallpaper before like Spider-Man, Star Wars or Justice League so here! Probably my most claustrophobic wallpaper yet but actually losing to both Spider-Man 2 and Life is Strange with just 15 characters compared to their 16! But this is filled with full body-drawings, fully drawn, zero traced faces or anything and took like a week to make thanks to also working now, so the longest project to date! You’re welcome!
I wanted something to represent the whole Agreste-Saga and had a ton of different ideas and sketches to pick from. There was the book, the rings, the wall between them, all the supportive casts including drama, rivals, a mysterious cousin, 5 whole seasons of stories but I think I managed to mush it all down to one final product!

This was originally planned for the Ahsoka-finale but the latest featuring a fight, Vader-appearances and Clone Wars-flashbacks, I had to upload it now and come up with something new for the finale, maybe Ahsoka the White, once I get more to work with.
