Kirbtober Day 11 - OC

Introducing one of my two OCs revealed during Galactic Ambition: Snoozie!

Snoozie is Bianca's loyal servant and supposed only friend. She's an incredibly shy little 7-year-old girl who mostly follows Bianca's orders, but gets really skeptical and worried when her plans prove to be quite outlandish. Being a fellow Noddy, Snoozie looks up to Marx and likes to call him her "the big brother she never had", but Bianca won't allow that, so she's not letting him see her for the fear that she'll leave her.

Unlike Marx, Snoozie doesn't really have a special ability to call her own, so Bianca decided to solve that problem by creating her mechanical hands that can transform into wheels so she can move around faster. She may or may not have accidentally injected her with some oil from a Wheelie, granting her super speed. While she's in on her plan to make her own Nova, she's still a bit worried about what it'll do. But for right now, she needs a nap. Especially after everything she's gone through.

Kirbtober Day 23 - Wish

Finally, here it is! Galactic Nora!

Now, as you may have noticed, her design here is a bit different than what was described a few months ago. I did want to make her look like an angelic being of light, and while that concept was sorta fufilled in her final design, I sorta wanted to go in another direction.

Being a cat-like machine, I wanted to give Nora some cat-like features such as the tail, nose, and "whiskers". I also added some other details such as a striped sash, a crack in her glasses (to reflect part of Nova's head being damaged near the end of Milky Way Wishes), and even adding her heart/Nucleus to her chest for some added effect.

About her personality: she's Marx's conscience and thus governs the actions he should avoid doing, especially now that Marx Soul is officially gone. She's sort of a mother to Marx - even more so when you remember his old mom has gone with the wind. She likes teaching morals to Marx, eating cat food, and granting wishes at the flick of her finger.

I actually kind of like her final design, I think it works pretty well!

Ennard!

He's the creature that lurks in the vents and the one who's gobbling up all your trash... Ennard.

Born from the disheveled endoskeletons of the Funtime animatronics, Ennard made an oath to himself that he would never harm a single kid ever again, fighting back against his malicious programming. Don't let his monstrous appearance scare you; he's actually very friendly. It's just that years of having to kill kids as four separate robots and living in the shadows has worn him down. Living in an alleyway along with his best friends, Ennard is usually found crawling through the vents and looking for trash (food - they have poor standards), or going out on the town, hiding his identity behind a large cloak. And if you dare ask him about his mechanical limbs, expect his answer to be a cold, raspy "It's a costume."

Pros:

Voice imitation: As you may already know, he's a giant fusion of all the Funtime animatronics, which makes changing voices on the fly very easy. He can go from his normal raspy tone to the elegant French accent of Ballora, the loud-mouthed Funtime Freddy, or the soft-spoken politeness of Circus Baby (his step-sister, I suppose).

Prehensile tentacles: Those four tentacles on his back are often used as extra hands. Unfortunately, these are only handy (pun not intended) in the alleyway where he lives; out on the streets, they're constricted to his back to avoid scaring people.

Multiple eyes: Ennard only has one eye in one of his sockets, which is Baby's. The other four (Ballora, Foxy, Freddy, and Bon Bon) are all held up by his tentacles, which serve as back-ups in case his main eye gets blinded. Oh yeah, and each of them are sentient, and they move on their own accord.

Agility: You wouldn't expect it from the guy with a limp, but he's surprisingly nimble when sneaking through the vents. It's one of the reasons why he's so stealthy when harvesting trash/food for his friends.

Persuasiveness: Ennard's a pretty soft-spoken, reasonable guy. He'll actually help when he has a good reason to, and even though he sounds like he's trying to take control of the conversation, he's really just trying to lay down an argument on top of you.

Omnivorous: Being made of metal, Ennard can eat both solid food and trash. He usually goes for trash, as it feels better than real dishes.

Cons:

Control freak: Ennard really likes the feeling of control and always seizes the opportunity to take the lead and guide his friends, even when they clearly can do it themselves.

Emotionally drained: Originally being four murder-programmed animatronics can be pretty bad for your emotional state. Ennard keeps a savvy, stoic and calm tone 90% of the time, usually responding to the crap that happens to him with an annoyed sigh. Ex: Scrap Baby and Molten Freddy have made out behind the dumpster at least ten times now, and he's just sick of it. Even calling him spaghetti will do nothing but force him to give you a kick for your troubles.

Terrifying: At least, unintentionally. At 5.6ft tall, Ennard has a bad reputation in the outside world for being a creepy, clown-like monster with a disturbing voice, a wired body, and an unnerving limping walk.

Lonely: Aside from Scrap Baby and Molten Freddy, all Ennard really wants to do is to have a real human friend. He just finds the concept hard to understand, as the only real human he had a connection with was Michael Afton. But even then, it was part of his plan to escape Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental.

Kirbtober Day 20 - Retro

I honestly didn't know what to do for this one, so I just decided to take Meta Knight's sprite from Kirby's Adventure and gave it a little touching up. I think I'm starting to like the watercolor pen!

Funtime Foxy!

All good circus performers need a ringmaster. And who do you call for this task? None other than Funtime Foxy!

As a fellow performer in Circus Baby's Pizza World and self-entitled ringmaster of the area, Funtime Foxy is a mixture of stellar acting, hypnotic allure, and lovely acting rolled into a white and pink coat of fur. She loves to entice the crowd with incredible performances all around, whether it be hamming up a storm or singing like a siren. She loves to look after others and herself, including her own appearance, and she likes all things pink and flowery. A hopeless romantic, she supports the relationships of all her friends, even those she doesn't have the most connection towards.

Pros:

Cleanliness: Funtime Foxy is very feminine and girly (probably the girliest of the female Funtime animatronics), and likes to take good care of her appearance; one could say she's a bit vain, even. She brushes her fur and applies makeup between performances, irons her clothes regularly to keep them from wearing out, and likes to wear perfume to make herself smell nice (she says it's for added effect, but it's definitely meant to draw male animatronics to her). It's what allows her to have such good attention to detail.

Sophisticated: Funtime Foxy speaks and acts in a very eloquent and lively manner; perfect for when she wants to make friends with other uptight and sophisticated animatronics around the Pizzaplex.

Talented: Her bread and butter. Funtime Foxy is one hell of an actress and performer, and she's called the Pizzaplex's #1 drama queen for a reason (if you couldn't already tell from the drawing). When the spotlight's on her, she just loves to ham up a crowd for attention, no matter how big. And off-stage, she likes to sing her heart out, and she has a hypnotic singing voice, lemme put like this.

And just like Funtime Freddy, she's built with a voice modulator onto her chest, allowing her to mimic others' voices. This is one of the reasons why she's such a talented actor; that masculine "Announcer" voice you often hear her speak with? That's just for show. Her real voice is soft and feminine.

Alluring: She's found to be quite attractive to most of the male animatronics, yet she frequently ignores them all, believing them to not be up to her standards. The one guy she seems to be the most attracted to appears to be Funtime Freddy, surprisingly enough. Hmm... Maybe she sees him as something more, perchance?

Loyal: Despite her vanity and self-centered moments, Funtime Foxy loves and respects her friends; she makes sure their performances are going well, looks after them when they can't perform, and even joins them in some performances when she's in a really good mood. In fact, the whole reason why she hasn't left her job (despite working in a literal mall that serves pizza and works for a franchise that has a bad reputation for murdered children) is because she wants to work to her fullest and not leave it too soon.

Primal instincts: Contrasting her sophisticated personality, Funtime Foxy has incredible fox-like instincts. She can smell things up to 10 miles away, can find others via sound, and has teeth that feel like they're made of steel.

Assertive: She's not just a pretty face! She has pretty good fighting skills (so long as she doesn't get herself dirty, that is) and her first instinct upon being threatened is to snap her fangs at others. She's also very protective of others and will do her best to defend them from harm.

Cons:

Vanity: Funtime Foxy's a bit of an egomaniac and often spends a lot of time looking at her reflection and tending to her beauty. It's good to take care of her appearance, yet her vanity can blind her from her friends and other things, especially when she finds herself dirty. That's not to mention her attention-craving habits.

Shyness: Deep down, Funtime Foxy's not exactly as extroverted and ready to star in the show like the audience believes she is. She thinks she's not good enough because she isn't on the main stage with the others. She believes she's destined to be shelved because her lineage has had the same fate time and time again. She worries she's not good enough. Thus, her compliments in the mirror, while narcissistic at first glance, are just reassurance from a frightened, worried fox who wants to live up to her lineage.

Finicky: She's a bit of a perfectionist, and this often leads her to lose time in tryingto get things neat and up to her standards.

Stuffiness: Her sophisticated attitude causes her to clash heavily against some of the more rowdy animatronics in the Pizzaplex. Case in point: Mangle. She just sees her as a messier, louder, and carefree version of herself. Though, then again, there is Funtime Freddy... Hmm...

Uncontrollable melodramatics: As mentioned before, Funtime Foxy is a drama queen. That position has caused her to be overdramatic and freak out over the tiniest things. And that, of course, leads to chaotic mood swings, usually ranging from temper to hysterics and sobbing.

Temperamental: Remember what I said up above about Funtime Foxy's mood swings and how they can lead her to getting angered very quickly? This is what I meant. Some things that really push her buttons are:

Stepping on her tail.

Getting her dirty.

Missing her shows.

Getting her gender wrong.

Kirbtober Day 15 - Cutscene Redraw

A little redraw of the cutscene of Daroach being possessed in Kirby Squeak Squad (with my redesigns, of course :]).

I tried to include shading, but my phone was not having it, my drawing app crashed at least once, and it was super laggy, so I just gave up and posted it without the shading. I think I might leave the shading to the drawings I make on my laptop to make things easier.

Congrats, Minty. You've successfully turned one of your Kirby OCs into friggin Sonic. For added bonus, the one tag that popped up as I'm writing this was straight up "sonicthehedgehog". That's how I know the original design was so much better than this one.

But seriously, though, is there anyone else here who knows this is just straight up Sonic? The hair? The mouth? The goddamn shades?! Don't they look exactly like Sonic's eyes?! Well?! DO THEY?!
