Okay first this graph is accurate
Second: (and I'm about to pull my "I did not care for the Godfather" moment.) I really don't like "No country for old men"
Like, no, I got no beef if you enjoy it. Just not my cup a tea, and I know cus I tried.
I first watched it on a 14 hr plane ride from Japan to the US to visit family. But after the flight I thought, "We'll no one gets a good experience with a movie on a plane. Duh!" So I rented the dvd and watched it 2 more times once during the day the second at night(to test the different vibes) and nope!
Like objectively, it's a good movie, script is tight, acting phenomenal, and the kills genuinely good. I watched a ton of video essays on YT and i understood their points, but like... meh.
I just don't vibe with it. And I think that really fuckin humbled me. Before, if I disliked something, I always thought it was because there was something wrong with the story/movie itself.
But this experience taught me that you truly can not jive with something, and neither you nor the story are wrong for that.
So now if I ask why someone doesn't like something and they say "It just isn't my cup of tea" I finally get it.
gone girl is less a "good for her" movie to me and more of a "deviously evil but charismatic murderer gets at a boring and vaguely unlikable guy" much in the same way no country for old men is
This is my half of an art trade with @nobunsonpesach
Thank you so very, very much for asking me to participate in this with you! 🫶♥️💕💖❤️🥹
U have so quickly become one of my favourite Warhammer artists!
It was such an honour to have my first ever art trade be with you and draw your Khorneate Magnus!
I also haven't done a full coloured piece in a while, so i tried colouring with inks for the first time, and I loved it so much!!!
I hope this lives up to ur expectations! And I hope I've made u proud 🥹👉👈
I finished my design for Lord Mammon Sin of Avarice (Greed). I did some searching, and apparently, toads and foxes are linked/symbols of greed.
Also, 4 arms for him to steal/hold more.
But he is absolutely a swindler. He is the tallest of the high deamon lords and is particularly good friends with the sin of envy and is a complete kiss-ass to Lucifer. He's not a fan of my sona, but he tolerates them. Don't be fooled by his size he's one of the faster lords
HELLS YEAH!!! PRIMARCHCEST FOR THE WIN!!! 😍♥️🫶
Horus thrusting into Sanguinius during their first time, sweating, his voice shaking, calling himself an awful brother and mentor. Sanguinius is having none of this and hugs him instead, telling him how good he is making him feel and for how long the angel wanted this.
Tbh, I never got into TTS as I joined the WH40k fandom after it ended. And despite my "friends" at the time trying to get me to watch it I never found an intrest. Especially after I read some of the jokes. They fell kinda flat for me.
Now, the longer I've been and stay in the fandom, the more thankful I am that I've avoided it like the plague.
One thing I will despise TTS for is Kitten x Shadowsun crackship. Can't even check discussions about Farsight and Shadowsun relationship (or even just Shadowsun herself) without Kitten being brought up. I hate it. I want and old married couple, not whatever the f TTS came up with >:(
I freaking love ur nurgleite fairy! She's so freakin cute! 😍🫶♥️🔥
On other news: I decided to make a Warhammer sona!! Basically a character that represents me. I don't want to ship myself with anyone, not romantically/sexually that is, but I do want to spread love and Grandfather's blessings!
I also do furry art!
See, this is why I like drawing/writing cross species(faction) in 40k. It's so much more complex and unique. As compared to the basic watered down relation ships of regular scifi.
Also, don't forget Abhumans who are practically an array of human-like different species. If a "regular" human dates one, it's seen as either taboo or downright disgusting. And if a xenos dates them, then it's like a spicy version of what you've covered.
Xenophilia in other sci-fi: Human John, your kind already fascinates me, but even then, you manage to stand out among your kin! Would you like to partake in my homeworld's traditions to... strengthen our bond?
Xenophilia in Warhammer 40k: You could go for a blue skinned hooved girl, but she is going to have a government mandated pregnancy by someone from her race, so I hope you're into being NTR'ed. No, you can't do anything about this. You could go for a Space Elf™ gf, but she's going to call you a racial slur everytime you breathe. Also, the rest of her race thinks she is a zoophile for being with you. Oh, and avoid Goth Space Elves™. I REPEAT - AVOID GOTH SPACE ELVES™ AT ALL COST. You could go for a tall mommy robot skeleton gf, but she doesn't have any, ehem, "fun parts"... So she will either make you do something incredibly insane and dangerous to entertain herself or she's going to grow bored of you and kill you. Not liking any of those options? Don't worry! If you're good enough of a fighter - you may get an Ork bf, who will try to KRUMP YA! Remember, the boyz LOVE fighting, so the harder you fight your Ork boyfriend - the more he thinks you love him. Good luck!
It gives such strong Pandemonium (The "capital/Main court" of hell acording to old Christian lore) vibes!!!
Which makes total sense as it was probably what they were referencing. I've always liked WH30k/40k twisted parallels to Catholicism/Christianity, and this is a great subtle nod to it.

Lily(Nickname for Morticia's SO) spent days making this outfit for Morticia. And tailoring clothes from scratch for her girlfriend, who is a 12 foot tall demigod, isn't the easiest thing in the galaxy.
The least Morticia could do is indulge in a few photos
22| They/Them|Plural| Hello, I draw stuff from grimdark monsters to wholesome lesbians. (Also, I do NSFW sometimes, so NO MINORS!!!)
