As your fingers trace the key of your piano, your gentle humming turns into some quiet and hushed whispers. The sun casts shadows between the black and white, and your hands dance in her rays as you play one melody after another. You find yourself swept away through your own music, your foot leaning back and forth on the pedals at the bottom, beautifully filling out the room. In a blissful exhale, you begin to sing, the warmth of the sun tracing your features as you match your tone to the gentle gestures of your fingertips.

As the tones entice your voice out of hiding, your shoulders feel much lighter, your ears blooming with harmonies. It all happens so naturally, like a spring breeze from your window, that you don't notice the second presence in the room. Those hushed whispers become more confident and bright, singing along with the strings of your piano. Slow petals open up to the summer as they shine vibrantly.

Katsuki Bakugou would say he knew you inside and out. It took him a while, but your gestures and quirks are all familiar to him now, and he's fallen in love with every movement and noise. He was sure of what they meant as the sun is sure to melt the snow after a long winter.

But this was all new to him.

He's heard the steady tapping of the piano keys before, and he's seen you sitting so blissfully in front of it, lost in your own tunes. He'd blushed whenever you caught him staring, and softly smiled to himself when you played a song you'd been working on, seeing how proud you were of your own efforts. He'd witnessed your own gardening and fruit-bearing himself.

That wasn't what had him frozen, stuck in place.

Your voice lingered in his throat like honey, angels kissing his ears and filling his mind. The sweet nectar of your sensuality and artform drowses and fills his heart. The light framing you so serenely, your sweet singing filling the room-

Katsuki Bakugou felt as if he were seeing you for the first time.

He was speechless as he watched you lose yourself in your element, utterly enamored with the image before him.

ꕥ but acting has always been an important part of your life, you were a theatre kid after all and enjoyed being in the spotlight, giving life to a written character

ꕥ katsubabe knew about this because he always tried his best to attend each of your representations but he did not suspect the fact that this could be your dream career

ꕥ therefore, you were terrified at the idea of telling him you were planning on leaving UA for a prestigious acting school you just received an acceptance letter from

boyfriend!katsuki is the biggest grump ever, until he eats. He’s already rough around the edges but his pout is most prominent when his stomach is empty. His eyebrows are furrowed together, the crease between them worse than ever. Feed him his spicy food and he may or may not calm down, but the pout and pinched eyebrows are no longer there. 

boyfriend!katsuki who is the worst person to shop with. You want his opinion because, hello! his parents are in the FASHION industry, it would be so nice to have some kind of input??? He’ll straight up sit there in the dressing room with you (because he will be damned if he’s not in there with you) on his phone, mindlessly scrolling through emails or playing some kind of shooting game. Katsu, if you’re not even going to give me a yes or a no then wait outside! You can argue with him but babes it’s falling on deaf ears. I just don’t understand why you need my opinion, it’s all coming off anyways. He’ll give your flustered face a smug look. He catches a shirt you throw at him for his suggestion before pocketing his phone. Once you have his full attention, he’s actually really helpful. May be a little….honest with his opinions but it’s always followed up with some advice on what would work better. 

boyfriend!katsuki who likes to cuddle you quietly. If he’s had a long day or is annoyed with all the extras in his life, the only thing he wants to do is lay on top of you and bury his face in your tummy. He’s bigger than you and he’s always aware of how much of his weight he’s putting on you but he just likes to be on top because it gets him extra close to you. Not to mention it feels like he’s protecting you even when falling asleep. Run your fingers through his hair if you want to but be careful if you catch a knot. He’ll bite at the chub of your hip if you pull too hard. 

boyfriend!katsuki who feels awful if he ever makes you cry. Especially if it’s during an argument where the two of you failed to see the other person’s side. His shoulders will drop and he’d still have his signature angry pomeranian look but now he’s more upset with himself for making you cry. He takes a deep breath and closes his eyes, trying to calm down before he even approaches you again. He likes to make it up to you with actions rather than words (makes you your favorite meal, runs a bath for you, AND gives you a massage at the end of the day). The next time the argument is brought up, he’s a lot calmer. Still annoyed at the subject itself but has an easier time communicating his point. 

boyfriend!katsuki who hates to have photos taken of him, but loves taking them of you. He has a folder in his phone with so many pictures of you. Unfortunately, not all of them are flattering pictures of you but don’t even think about deleting them because they’re his favorite. He will make fun of your double chin or your drool when he comes across from them but deep down he’s so happy that someone trusts him enough to be this unguarded around him. You’ve tried retaliating, but he’s got fast reflexes so you can really only get them when he’s sleepy or already sleeping. Looks too cute and soft in them for you to make fun of him >:(

boyfriend!katsuki who claims to hate that you include him in your skin care routine, but does nothing (aside from grumble) when you’re working his hair into two little pigtails on top of his forehead. The same boyfriend that claims he will bite your hand if you put that damn cream anywhere near his face, and the same boyfriend that closes his eyes when your fingers start to massage his cheeks. He claims to hate it, but his cheeks that squish themselves against your working hands claim something else. Does not have the patience for face masks, don’t try it on him. You’d scold him for taking it off as soon as he realizes what you’re putting on his face: Katsuki those were expensive! Leave it on or it won’t work. You can beg all you want, but it was your fault for picking a panda face mask, I’m not wearing that shit he’ll grumble stubbornly and actually bite your hand (playfully) if you get close to him. He doesn’t mind clear face masks as much because they don’t look as “stupid”

We have heard enough of bakugou being possessive. Let's talk about the reason behind it

In all reality, katsuki isn't possessive, he is scared, so so much scared that he feels helpless. What if you fall out of love with him? Like all those fucking extras? Katsuki is so scared that he would comfort you even when he's the one in pain, he doesn't want all this to end- doesn't want it to ever cease even if it's one heck of a dream.

It's not his possessiveness, it's you; it's your love that made him fall so so hard. The sight of you with someone else just makes him feral.

You are his only redemption; would you always stick with him? It drones his mind hours and hours on end.

What if?

Slumping against the kitchen counter, he just wishes to listen to your hushed, quite breaths as you sleep, he wishes...no, he needs to be the one holding you flat against his chest as you are asleep.

He claws at the stupid hero costume that clings to his body from all the sweat and blood; you don't know he is in pain, but if you did would you be there for him?

Sometimes he cannot help but think whether he imposed his life on you, his mind can't help but see all those flickering moments of the life you had before him; you were happy back then, but are you now?

You walk out of the bedroom without urgency, you hand mindlessly rubbing the soreness from the day. It was so late but the emptiness that Katsuki left behind didn't let you sleep.

'Katsuki?'

He winces, tries to look away from you. How could he not? You looked so much in pain, and it seemed like you had already traded half of his injury the moment your fingers smoothed out his hair, the shiver of your fingers doing something in him.

'Katsuki, are you hurt?'

He doesn't bother replying, doesn't bother bothering you. He relaxes against your shoulder, drinking on the feel of your skin against his.

'Missed you fuckin' so much.'

You hummed at him, slightly beckoning him to follow you to the bedroom. You told him repeatedly he was hurt, he was bleeding, but he didn't care.

And who was at fault? Your or his love?

Katsuki isn't possessive, he is just scared till the end of him. He has fallen so so hard, he can trade all the good he ever gained, just for you.

Playing the Pocky Game with the Bakusquad.

Sero: sits there grinning with the pocky between his teeth like the smug-ass bastard he is as you bite away from your end, getting closer until your lips meet.

Denki: Gets way too eager and snaps the pocky in half from the get-go, resulting in his face smushing into yours. The fact his lips happened to land on yours is 100% chance but you wont hear him complaining💅

Mina: definitely the smoothest out of all of them, taking little nibbles as you slowly draw closer to each other, her soft hand coming to rest gently on your face. By the time the pocky is all gone neither of you have really noticed and neither of you really care😘

Kiri: another over-eager boy. Keeps biting too hard and the pocky keeps snapping in half which frankly makes him a little downhearted. Please kiss him anyway, he needs it.

Bakugou: refuses to "put that sugary shit in his body," simply resorting to tossing the box to the side and grabbing your jaw with a hand, shamelessly pressing his lips to yours. "Tch. This is what you really wanted anyway, ain't it dumbass?
