I can imagine it takes him a while to trust you, in actually liking him that is. Before he really lets you close to him, both physically and emotionally. But when you’ve both reached a point where he feels he can be vulnerable around you, and let you see his softer side, he’d love all the small physical affections. Like hugs lasting for a bit longer at first, and then turning into a cuddle session on the couch- “Stay like this, for a little longer, yeah?”

You, playing with his fingers sometimes, holding his hands without fear of his quirk would absolutely shatter him, melt his heart and all the works. How you like to intertwine fingers with him, even if you’re not going anywhere like when you’re sitting on the couch-

Or, if you like to hold his face, caress his cheeks or something of the like- I can imagine he’d never ask for it but he loves it silently. Something about your soft fingers against his jaw, or how your thumb moves over his cheeks, makes his heart skip a beat-

Playing with his hair- at first you’d be a bit apprehensive about touching it in the first place, considering how much he yells at the other “extras” when they even comment on his hair. But once you start running your fingers through it when you’re kissing, or playing with it when you’re laying in bed, he’s surprisingly quiet. He’d always grunt a bit at first- with a light frown on his face. But when you try to move your hand away, he just grab it and hold it in place- “DUMBASS- don't stop doing that.. please”

When he touches you though, I can picture it more subtle? In public he’d probably only hold onto your hand or, maybe give you a cheek kiss if you’re being extra cute or something

In private he might signal you he wants affection, either silently, with a soft tug on your arm or by sitting in a very cuddle open manor or very loudly, straight up demanding you come cuddle with him this instant or else

It can’t just be me, but imagining him tense up and blush slightly when you first do it, and you’re just on his chest a giggling mess. He’d stutter for a bit like- “Wha- what did you just do? tf?” and then do the same to you

Alright, imagine this cliche shit my brain just thought of:

The guys dare Bakugou to ask you out, knowing that he doesn't like you, and he does it only to prove that he can win any bet thrown his way.

The next day he asks you out, and you accept all enthusiastic. Bakugou throws a victorious smirk toward his friends, while the guys keep waiting to see where everything goes.

Bakugou is supposed to endure a date and make you swoon. He thinks it's going to be easy, like a walk in the park. What he doesn't expect is to actually enjoy your company, and ends up asking you out for another date. And another. And another one.

He learns you are incredibly clingy, in a horny way, and lords are you a tease... whenever given the chance you're all over him, touching him, kissing him, giving him boner after boner. And he loves it, he likes how affectionate you are.

His friends find it weird how Bakugou suddenly is sprawled on the couch, spooning you, watching a cheesy rom-com without blowing a fuse. What's weirder, is how Bakugou always brings you something to drink or eat whenever you slightly mention being hungry/thirsty.

" 'Suki!" You call out from the kitchen, and Bakugou is quick to abandon whatever his friends were planning to do.

"Yeah?"

"Can you show me that chicken noodle soup recipe?"

And the Baku squad is stunned to see their explosive friend forget about them in favor to help you out. Although, Bakugou ends up doing all the cooking, while you just gossip with Mina.

" 'Suki?"

"Hm" he is now pouring the soup into two bowls, and kisses your forehead when he's done.

"Do you think you could help me later with homework?"

"Yeah, got nothing better to do anyways." He shrugs, and sits behind you, arms around your mid section, head resting on your shoulder while you and Mina eat, giggling to yourselves.

One day, the guys - guys meaning Kaminari- confronts Bakugou about the bet, unaware that you, Mina and Jirou are right around the corner.

Kaminari moves to pay what owned to Bakugou, when you finally step into the common room, and Bakugou looks horrified.

"So, you asked me out because of a bet? That's all I am to you?"

Bakugou denies, well not really, he admits that initially he did it for a bet, but the dates after the second, and his current feelings are real. He pleads, in his way, to believe him, because he may be an asshole, but not a liar.

He waits for you to say something, anything, and he goes for cuddles, kissing your cheek and neck silently pleading for forgiveness. It might have started the wrong way, but his feelings are genuine. He likes you, way too much to let a stupid bet destroy what you and him had built in the last four months.

"Heard the guy?" You ask, turning toward Mina and Jirou, which both nod and hand you some cash.

"Damn, making blasty here fall for you, I accept my defeat" Jirou says, smiling.

"I bow down to you, my queen!" Mina dramatizes, she too sporting a big smile. Bakugou is confused, and so are the others.

Kirishima asks them what is going on, and Mina is quick to explain that she had heard them talk about the bet, and told you as soon as possible, which led to them too making a bet on their own. You vowed to make blasty fall for you, and it was an indisputable win.

Then, you turn to look at Bakugou, which is openly frowning.

"I win. You lose. Say it."

Bakugou swallows, pride slightly hurt, but still does as you said.

"Good boy" you kiss him, and Bakugou pulls you closer, nose nuzzling into the crook of your neck soon after.

"So... we still a thing?"

Also picking up new books you’ve never heard of before because the premise sounds neat or the cover is pretty or it’s on a themed library display or you’re just trying to read your library’s entire catalogue of 90s cyberpunk is just fun. Sometimes it’s not your thing but you get to mull over new ideas or the diversity of people and opinions and thoughts in the world. Sometimes you discover your new favorite book of all time

Warnings of Cursing on Bakugou's part, Gender-Neutral reader and slightly suggestive in the sense they are making out on his bed :)

An array of colors behind your closed eyes, and the feeling of warm hungry lips against yours. Your thoughts are foggy and the only apparent thing is his steady large hand on the back of your head, the other sliding up your sides as you feel the cushion beneath you give way under the weight of your body being pressed against it. The song of the movie credits blurred in the distance as all you can hear are his mutters and hushed breathing against your lips. Fingers tangled in his rough ash blonde hair, and your own breath stuttering as you find yourself melting against his touch, lips interlocked tightly together.

You pull away to breathe, arms still wrapped around his neck as you look up into his crimson eyes panting slightly, a warm blush spreading across your cheeks in a flush of embarrassment at his determined gaze, his slightly parted lips still half forming a kiss and his figure over you. He was breathing heavier, too, and you can’t help but feel confident now that you know you have the same effect on him, he has on you. You don’t remember how you had gotten into this situation, only recalling him inviting you to stay longer in his dorm to watch this new movie with him. It wasn’t unlike him to invite you to stick around a bit more, so you had just accepted and joined him on his bed for the next few hours.

The Movie itself was nothing special, but the colors of the TV screen reflected so dreamily in his eyes, bouncing across his features, curves, and edges alike to paint him even more eye-catching than before. You remember how he had caught you staring at him, with that stupid grin of his and a cocky attitude. Recalling crimson hues hushing from your lips back to your eyes, or the small inching closer to each other just minutes earlier, your mind becomes less foggy as your heartbeat calms down, not beating out of its lane anymore. However it was you got here, you know you didn’t want to leave just yet, to keep this side of him to yourself for a bit longer. The careful treading of his hands and his warm breath against your skin, the mix of emotions of affection and want in his eyes, or how ruffled his hair looked with your fingers locked between the strands. So rare and so precious, you didn’t care how much of the movie you’d be missing.

“Can we?” Your voice was still quiet, still breathy after all that making out, lips slightly bruised from his exploration, curious and hungry kisses. “Do that again?” He finishes, his own voice hushed and low, but still so drunk in this affectionate moment. Eagerly you nod, and only seconds after you can feel his lips pressed against yours again. This kissing would be followed by a long talk, about feelings and butterflies, about how serious this would be for the both of you. But if anything, you already looked forward to it. His cheeks flushed and his voice hushed, for your ears only, vulnerable and warm, as he tries to explain what he feels. You know this is difficult for him, you can feel how unsure some of his movements are, how hard it can be for him to be so raw with someone else, so you’ll reassure him as much as you can, tell him how much you feel for him just the same. Once the movie is silent, and your kisses are slower. “You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do this-” “I really really like you, dumbass. Can’t you tell? Don’t make me fuckin’ say it.” And “If you tell anyone that I said that you’re fucking dead- I’ll kiss you to death, hear me?”

[ Ah, yes. More love for my boy Kacchan. I actually don't watch Stranger Things BUT the way you describe this actually reminds me of the Vigilantes manga, specifically Christoper Skyline's wife Pamela. She HATED his guts when they first met, but their love story in Chapter 52 is just so damn adorable <3 I can't stand it. So I'll use that as inspiration to make this because I think it's a super cute concept. ]

He hated this. Why Yuuei had decided to collaborate with another school was beyond him. He didn't need to form relationships with other heroes, he was gonna be number one regardless of who or what stood in his way. "This is stupid, goddamn it!" he growled, practically foaming at the mouth. "Ah, come on Bakubro!" Eijirou said, trying to be encouraging but his efforts were met with failure.

"I can't stand it! Why is he getting all the hot babes!?" Mineta exclaimed as he watched yet another girl approach Katsuki, confessing their feelings to him or just bluntly telling him how attractive he was. "I don't know, but not all of them are like that," Kaminari said, pointing to you and taking notice of the unusual and slightly oversized headphones you wore.

"Fuck off already!" he snapped at the girl in front of him, thinking nothing of it as he watched her grow teary-eyed before running away. "Pff, dumbass," he commented, crossing his arms. He was about to glance away when he spotted you leaning against a tree with your eyes focused on your phone and your headphones on. 'Who the hell is that and why isn't she crazy like the rest of these extras?' he thought but shrugged it off.

You caught his attention after he had stopped a common thief and girls flocked around him screaming praise. You merely glared at him as you walked by which caused him to grow confused. 'It's that damn girl again...' he thought. 'Just like the last time, I saw you. What the hell is your problem!? Pff...guess I'll have to find out myself!' and with that, he had a new mission.

"What's your damn problem, eh!?" he screamed at you one morning, he had been keeping tabs on you and knew that you woke up before everyone else so that you could take a private walk. However, you looked at him with an eyebrow raised and much like before, continued walking. "Hey dumbass I'm talking to you!" he growled, but his words had little effect on you.

"What the hell will this dumbass plan accomplish!?" he hissed at Eijirou who regrettably was the only one he had mentioned you to. "It'll catch her attention Bakubro! You gotta trust me, I'm the manliest guy around and I know a thing or two about impressing a fine lady!" Katsuki rolled his eyes, but he had no choice but to go along with what Eijirou planned.

Your fist against his cheek was the last thing he expected to feel when he forcibly picked you up and shot the two of you into the air. Eijirou had suggested that the atmosphere may be romantic but it was having the opposite effect and he nearly dropped you when you began squirming and demanding to be put back down.

The collaboration program at Yuuei was coming to an end and Katsuki was still desperate to figure you out. "What's with those damn headphones you're always wearing anyway!?" he questioned one night when he saw you sitting all alone on the porch. You only offered him a shrug in response which made him angrier.

"Why don't you flock to me like those other damn girls and why the hell won't you talk to me!?" he snapped at you during a training exercise, ironically enough you had wound up on the same team and part of him hated that. However, to his surprise, you answered him and he quickly learned how poorly you viewed him. You made it a point that he was nothing but a buffoon and that his actions were anything but heroic.

On the last day of the program, he felt like he had no choice but to walk up to you with a flower in hand. "Here...not that I give a damn what you think about me but since I won't see your damn face again I got you...this stupid flower..." to his surprise a smile come to your face when you proceeded to take the flower and sniff it. His eyes widened as you single-handedly brought him to heel and from that point on, he wanted to be the only one to make you smile.
