ji-yeong partners with some rando and wins because she’s actually really good at throwing marbles at a wall when she doesn’t drop them on purpose. let’s say it’s the pastor bc she’d absolutely enjoy beating him and he’s an asshole

she goes first on the glass bridge bc she’s a baddie and wants to protect sae-byeok and ends up leading everyone across, the non-tempered glass bends a little under her weight so she knows which is which

the game staff are super pissed because they now have to figure out how to do squid game with 15 players, and also have to prepare as many fancy steak dinners

less than an hour later I have just read over the outline for my ji-yeong fic and am now sat at my desk sniffling and blinking back tears

I am weirdly glad that, based on recent posts I’ve been seeing, I am not the only one who has moments of sobbing incoherently at my fav ship

what if I did this and set the whole thing to run on korean time in real time (until the games start, then you gotta suspend some disbelief bc this fic updates weekly) and used it as a means to expand her backstory and motivations and explore how the games affect her even though she isn’t a POV character and

wouldn’t that be soooo wild
