imagining deok-su on all fours meowing pitifully at mi-nyeo who looks down at him like
and he lets out one final sad meow and then gets shot in the fucking head
fuck them marbles. with that cast filled with fine people I would be making them play this thing and no one alive could stop me.
I regret to inform you all that after consulting with a friend I WILL be adding a doomed lesbian to this fic, in keeping with the traditions of this series
ok squid gang help me out here!!
I’m planning a fic set during a hypothetical future edition of the games, which means I need to come up with a new cast of characters to interact with the existing ones who’ll be involved
can anyone think of any believable reasons why people would be joining the game, which haven’t already been done repeatedly? I’m trying not to inadvertently copy canon characters but there are only so many ways I can think of to get into vast amounts of debt
I’ve got a couple of ideas but if anyone feels creative and has any thoughts please let me know!!
Just rewatched season 2 because I missed my shayla and I noticed something about when Gihun wakes up in the games.
Seonnyeo is the first player to talk to him when he wakes up and yeah she goes on a whole crazy ominous tirade about his destiny, but then she mentions that there are spirits around him.
And that theyre VENGEFUL spirits.
We all agree she was talking about the players that were there when he played, right? Okay, but hear me out.
I think the spirits she specifically senses are Saebyeok and/or Sangwoo. Their presences in the spirit realm are probably the STRONGEST in regards to her and her clairvoyance, not because theyre the only spirits who may be trapped there, (theyre most certainly not ffs 455 ppl died theres gotta be more), but because in regards to Gihun, theyre the strongest ones she can sense.
I like to think of it as she can see them clearly standing beside him while he cant, like obviously shes never met these people so she wouldnt know their names, but through her eyes she sees two people following and standing beside Gihun, watching over him and guiding him to do the right thing. To finally put an end to this hell hole that they found each other in.
Gihun obviously cant see it cause he’s not a shaman or even involved in the spirit realm like Seonnyeo is, but i even think the look he gave her when she said that hid a glimmer of hope that his friends were watching over him in the spirit realm, just like she mentioned.
having finally finished summer’s for lovers I’ve pivoted straight into the next fic, which has a very different vibe but I’m really enjoying it so far
I have a lot to get done with it to stay on track, but I’m optimistic and REALLY excited to get off the mark with it. it’s gonna be good, trust
more info to come, first instalments drop this sunday 👀
Its finally here
My mom guesses the top and bottom in 11 Squid Game ships. Enjoy.

description: what squid game characters would do after a breakup with you
18+ minors dni
warnings: mildly nsfw, mentions of sex, the recruiter needs a warning of his own (stalking/implied murder), angst
︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵
thanos:
♡ immediately starts sleeping around
♡ any social media you still follow him on is bombarded with posts about the various other people he’s seeing now
♡ he doesn’t actually care about any of them, though. he’s just doing all this in an attempt to make you jealous
ₓ˚. ୭ ˚○◦˚.˚◦○˚ ୧ .˚ₓ
namgyu:
♡ completely ignores you after the split. if you wanted to remain friends, tough luck
♡ it doesn’t even seem like he gives a fuck about the breakup
♡ when he’s under the influence, though, his true feelings come out. he leaves you countless voicemails that he won’t remember sending by the morning
ₓ˚. ୭ ˚○◦˚.˚◦○˚ ୧ .˚ₓ
daeho:
♡ this man is distraught. he’ll be crying on the daily
♡ no matter how much he misses you, he won’t call; he wants to respect your space
♡ he returns your belongings, but secretly keeps one of your shirts. he just can’t let you go completely
ₓ˚. ୭ ˚○◦˚.˚◦○˚ ୧ .˚ₓ
hyunju:
♡ she asks to remain friends
♡ as much as it kills her, she’d much rather have you in her life platonically than not at all
♡ she’ll continue to be as sweet as she’s always been, silently hoping one day you’ll take another chance on her
ₓ˚. ୭ ˚○◦˚.˚◦○˚ ୧ .˚ₓ
semi:
♡ she’s the kind of ex you just can’t seem to quit
♡ despite being broken up, she makes it clear that the door is always open for you
♡ you take her up on her offer; breakup sex is a frequent occurrence
ₓ˚. ୭ ˚○◦˚.˚◦○˚ ୧ .˚ₓ
saebyeok:
♡ immediately blocks you on everything
♡ she’ll even go so far as to cut off any mutual friends you two have
♡ she doesn’t want to hear anything about you; it hurts too much
ₓ˚. ୭ ˚○◦˚.˚◦○˚ ୧ .˚ₓ
the recruiter:
♡ break up? oh, that’s funny. you can leave the recruiter, but he’s not leaving you
♡ stalking people is part of his job so ofc he’ll be keeping tabs on you
♡ when you try to move on, anyone you go on a date with mysteriously disappears soon after
people who write their fics directly onto archive of our own site do not fear death by the way
in all seriousness, please always keep backups of your works, write them somewhere else (google doc is a good choice) then copy and paste onto ao3 when you're done, because ao3 itself does not automatically save your works for you, meaning you can lose all of your progress
She was only in 3 episodes but Ji-yeong really made such an impact for me. She is such an interesting and tragic character. Like we meet her and she is so casual and unbothered by the games where every round she could literally die. And she makes fun of the religios man and tells him that he can pray as much as he wants but he still did what he did and then we learn about her father and then it makes sense. And she asks about Sae-byeok and her family and she suggests telling each other their story because one of them is gonna die anyways but she keeps forgetting about that fact. And then she tells her story and we find out she got abused and was in prison for killing her father but can we really blame her? And she just got out of prison and I feel like she needed this. Telling somebody her story, what happened to her. She suggests they tell each other the things they could never tell anybody else and asks specific questions on purpose, like if Sae-byeok has ever seen a dead body because she knows in return she is going to be asked that same question and she listens and then she tells her own story. And then she loses on purpose for Sae-byeok. And at first she's like "come on let me have my cool moment here" but it's not cool because she's about to die and then in the end she finally shows her emotions and gets sad and says she has nothing to live for, no goals for what she's gonna do if she wins. Sae-byeok was probably the first person she got closer to in a long time and so she dies so that Sae-byeok can go on and I just think for such a small role that was only present in one third of one season making such a big impact is incredible writing and incredible acting too
