So I had a dream that Bill (Specifically ‘A Human Condition’) had to draw himself a a kid with both his parents. I don’t quite remember why, but he just had to. Wendy, Soos, and all the other characters that don’t know who he really is were there, so he had to draw him and his parents as humans. This is the picture that popped into my mind and I had to draw it the next morning. This has nothing to do with the actual plot so I have no clue if this still counts as fanart.

The Seven Stages of Writing:

1. Having the best idea for a story

2. Making a bunch of character sheets, plot outlines, snippets of scenes and playlists for inspiration

3. Sitting down to actually write the story

4. Realizing halfway through you don’t know anything about *insert random topic here* and go down an Internet rabbit hole to become an armchair expert while bullshiting the finer details and hoping no one notices.

5. Getting stuck for too long on a scene/ trying to make a character or plot Do A Thing™️ it’s not doing without it being contrived.

6. Wallowing about how terrible your writing is and how the whole story is basically a dumpster fire that should never see the light of day.

7. Going back to edit the whole thing and realizing it’s an absolute masterpiece and you were worried about nothing all along.

@sapphosscribe, I loved Bill dressed as The Goblin king, and I loved how much of a jerk he is.. And well, actually, I just loved the whole chapter. I'm really looking forward to this Sunday's update, because that cliffhanger ending is killing me! Summerween is driving me crazy 😵‍💫🍉

Anyway, I haven’t had much time to draw the way I’d like lately, but after wrapping up everything I had to do this week, I finally got around to making more A Human Condition art.

hi sappho! ik it’s wierd to ask but will we see the rest of summerween this week or the next one? Whatever the answer may be i do have to confess im only asking because i (like many others i presume) have been on the EDGE OD MY SEAAAAT since the last chapter dropped! nevertheless we shall let u do what u do best (which is cook a full billford meal and cliffhanger the readers on an ominous note). Sometimes waiting for peak is just simple required…
