Look. I know verbalizing is important but Riz is literally canonically asexual and aromantic and he was even before Brennan said it on adventuring party. Like he repeats over and over that he isn't interested in having sex or kissing and that he wants to hang out with his friends and go on adventures instead. That's asexuality! Even if he doesn't say the words "asexual", because he's 16 and allergic to introspection! Like, we knew Kristen was lesbian even before she said it because she was interested in relationships and kissing and sex with women. It's the same with Riz. He very clearly does not experience sexual attraction or desire even before it was said explicitly.
