I love the amount of queerness in The Secret History cause I started reading it without prior knowledge of what it may possibly contain, and in the first half I was thinking, “God, Richard and Francis needs to make out at some point. I can't handle the sexual tension." A few chapters later, Francis pounces on Richard while he's half drunk.
when someone says im not an og mike faist fan but where were they when he featured in season 19 episode 5 of law and order: special victims unit??

Richard Papen:
You just know that when Katniss publishes her book Peeta has a stack on the bakery counter that he pushes every customer to buy.
“But Mr. Mellark I can’t read!” “Your mommy can read it to you!”
“Peeta I already have a copy,” “you can have two! It makes for a great harvest gift.”
“I’m not gonna buy mom’s book, dad” “but she’s your mother!” “I already have a copy!”
I’m thoroughly convinced that Henry Winter would throw up/get a migraine if he saw an AI generated image.
how i remember that one scene in the secret history:
henry: don’t say fuck.
charles: oh yea? well fuck fuck fuck, you be fuckin my sister every night right? mhm. clock it.
richard: so when i was young my father beat my mother. lol sometimes he beat me too.
so unfortunately college isn’t just about performing ancient greek rituals with your friends
We should talk and appreciate more how the Hanging Tree song is forever tied to Sejanus as well.
Written and sung by Lucy Gray for Coriolanus, about the place where Sejanus died. Suzanne Collins successfully tied all three Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes protagonists to what is the most important song in the entire saga, without it feeling forced
The urge to learn every language and play every instrument and travel the world and live through every historical time period and be a writer and a poet and an actor and
“And love dares you to care for
The people on the edge of the night
And love dares you to change our way of
Caring about ourselves”
hmm kinda reminds me of a certain St. Francis and Ragnarsson, just might be me though
