the problem with gamification is that websites never implement it right. absolutely nobody wants a trophy for making 1000 posts. instead when one of your posts gets a lot of notes you should earn a rare collectible item you can trade with other users. and when someone's post is really obnoxious you should get to call in a boss raid and if enough people join in and deplete the post's health bar then it should get permanently wiped from the servers
I felt really stupid earlier this semester for dropping out of pre-calc two weeks in, like I was crazy because the "review" section made me doubt that I had ever learned math right in the first place. Found out today from a former classmate that their current class average is "failing", so guess my instincts called it right after all.
Cackle Crane - Wild form.
Who's the bestest girl? Who's everypony's favorite demon pony?
It's her, and if you disagree she'll bite you.
I cannot even begin to contain the hours of rambles I could share of how complicated the Royal family has gotten in my writings in the span of a month. Sunset hasn't even been properly adopted (yet) and already Celestia's up 2.5 children, with an in-law situation that will only get more absurd as
time goes on. And yes the prep-goth balance is kept immaculately.
Ah the dichotomy of the Celestia family... The preps and the goths
Season of slightly less guilt for spending money on myself is upon me, and I really need a drawing tablet. Preferably something that can operate without being plugged into both a computer and a wall by a 1 foot cord like I got scammed by in the past. I'm worried my art will never really amount to anything better than what it is on a touchpad and see the circle around me growing better and better, which is good for them, but.... not ideal for my self esteem. Any recommendations?
My Mane 6 Redesigns all together! I was going to post them separately but ended up finishing them all before I got around to it lol
I know I've been absent but I've started work on a fanfiction version of the silly little story all my art is inspired by! May as well shamelessly promote it here. Gonna be a while before some of my art makes sense but I hope people give it a shot. https://www.fimfiction.net/story/563433/school-of-restoring-harmony
Starfield! 3/7 mysterious special horses done.
Had to finish the pattern! Fully Trinity of these silly little horses in their Nightmare Night costumes, with Night Gaze as the mighty Wonder-Mare!
So P-E-R-F-E-C-T, let me solve this mystery!!
Was honestly thinking of playing with this in my dumb little AU thing, looking into the specific wording of the spell, with a very different Unicorn messing with the very same spell to try to finish their own ascension.
I thought it would be cute if that exact wording was turned around, and since they stubbornly hoard the elements trying to master them alone instead of sharing them, the spell would instead of swapping marks of their friends turns them into a Mark black-hole. In their quest to find fulfillment alone they'd turn themselves into a problem that keep accidentally "stealing" the destinies and Marks of those they get close too, until they're truly "singled out alone".
Undoing that and learning to actually share responsibility and power with others is the actual test of course, but its a different lesson for a different pony interpreted from the same spell.
Omfg I'm watching MLP "Magical Mystery Cure" and I had a thought
The spell twilight proforms, the one Starswirl The Bearded wrote it was
"the mark of ones destiny singled out alone, fulfilled."
The spell isn't about the elements, it's about Twilight. Celestial magic isn't what turns her into an alicorn. It's the spell. It's Twilights magic. It's her Destiny.
Switching the elements and finding the counter spell is just a test.
She/TheyColorful Cartoon Horses are my biggest special interest.I upload art I do here when I feel like sharing it.
