Please tell me the secrets. I don't have to actually message people first do I? Why can't they just all come ask ME things first! That seems like a much more sustainable arrangement, in my opinion. There's an open box right there!

To get a commission done I had to make a Vector, so I learned how to do that. Sticking with Raster for the most part but it was a fun experience.

I've enabled it. This is half ask-blog now. Ask me whatever you want about my silly Ponyfinder AU horse and their adventures. Please. Can't promise art for every response but... when I get better maybe I'll move this to a full on secondary ask blog.

Twilight never learned to make friends in Azzy's AU, becoming Princess of Magic and Knowledge but keeping her antisocial personality. Remaining an introvert for an extra four years before the story started and she was forced into a teaching position at a very different "School of Harmony". All the students have been content to leave her alone in her study after classes... except one who's always finding new ways to drag her into schemes like raising the dead, dismantling reverse-cyborgs, and worst of all - Social interaction!

A day late for Twilight Day but I still had to do something! I haven't actually done a work without an OC somewhere yet either.

On Second Thought

I really like teasing out bits of my silly horse AU but watching people actually analyze things about the original show (and spinoffs) has sort of reminded me to know my audience. Tumblr is ultimately a largely clean place now, and I can only be so weird on main.

I think I'll keep it to the basic level of little lore teases I've done so far but full Ask-Blog plans for the future are better spun off into its own blog so I can have a warning about the... weird, uncomfortable, and frankly problematic parts of their universe that would probably alienate those that aren't as immersed in it.

This place will at least host a safer, more sanitized version of events played out through art until I find a better way to put the whole ugly story out there. Just hope I don't lose anyone in the process.

I think Opaline was kinda supposed to come across as a pathetic villain to be honest.

She really acts like a washed-up celebrity that still walks around like they're hot shit, unable to accept that their peak is far behind them.

Cool, you successfully divided all races in Equestria and forced Twilight to vanquish all magic to stop you, all for what? Nothing.

No one knows who the hell you are anymore and your magic is near obsolete.

You have so little magic that you can barely pick up stuff with your horn without issue. Which is just fucking embarrassing.. you're an alicorn about the same age as Celestia and without dragon fire your magical abilities can be outdone by a common unicorn.

And deepdown she knows it too. I saw that little hesitant look on her face when Misty told her off; saying she felt bad for her.

Opaline's barely a villain. She's just a lonely, bitter, angry, old mare that takes her feelings of ineptitude out on those that are weaker than she is.

As soon as her power was taken away it threw her into a tizzy and she chased it to her demise. Because without it she's nothing and she knew it.

That's why she was so confused about how Sunny could be happy without being in her alicorn form all the time. Because that's how much worth she sees in those without power.

Including herself.
