Chapter Two
It was strange, the grass, fresh air, the way my rest felt against the floor. The mask that would normally cover my face rested in the ground next to me. Along with the red lens goggles that would normally cover me.
I see clearly for the first time in my life. No bloody tint to the world. A perfectly clear and blue sky. Quiet steps made their way to me and without hesitation I pull my mask on.Â
As the trees moved Clarke popped out. A serious look on her face and she motioned for me to follow. Like the fucking dog I am, I follow. I walk behind her silently as we move back to our broken drop ship. I watch her draw on whatever map she foundÂ
I survey the area around us as I click goggle lens. They shift to a black shade, allowing me to see some color. The others around us run rampant. Wells comes over to talk to Clarke, I all but ignore him.Â
âWe got problems. The communications system is deadâ. I went to the roof, a dozen panels are missing. Heat fried wires.â He informs.  I watch as Clarke sighs softly.Â
âWell, all that matters right now is getting to Mount Weather.â She directs him to her map. As another kid walks behind them making a joke Wells pushes him back. I roll my eyes at Wells. Honestly I donât understand his issue.
As a bigger group of boys comes to his aid Wells backs up. Trying to explain himself I roll my eyes.  Nice going Wells. Clarke looks up at me from where I sit in the broken down door. My sigh is exuded a bit loudly from my mask.Â
âWeâre on the ground. That not good enough for you?â The boy from before asks. He stands with Octavia and his eyes drift to me. I slowly drop down from where I sat and end up next to Clarke.Â
âWe need to find Mount Weather.â Wells says as he walks towards Bellamy. I groan and follow after Clarke who moves after Wells. For a girl who hated his guts, she sure does follow after him.
âYou heard my fatherâs message. That has to be our priority.â Wells continues. I scoff softly at his words as I cross my arms. The fucking Chancellor might as well of been dead now.Â
âScrew your father. What, you think youâre in charge here, You, your little princess and your guard dog?â I laugh quietly. There eyes turn to me.Â
âQuite the mouth on you sunshine, remember who opened the door for you.â I answer with a smirk none of them could see.  I could all but feel Clarkeâs scolding glare.Â
âDo you think we care whoâs in charge?â She paused. âWe need to get to Mount Weather. Not because the Chancellor said so, but because the longer we wait, the hungrier weâll get and the harder thisâll be.â
I roll my shoulder, feeling the metals vibrate against one another. I stand behind her as she continues to speak.
âHow long do you think weâll last without those supplies? Weâre looking at a twenty mile trek, okay. So if we want to get there before dark, we need to leave now.âÂ
âI got a better idea. You two go, find it for us. Let the privilege do the hard work for a change.â Bellamy voiced. Two? If I could still count right there were at least three of us on this Mount Weather side.Â
All the others around quickly agreed and I honestly donât blame them. Made perfect sense why they would think I that. But then again we were all in the ground now.
âYouâre not listening. We all need to go.â Wellâs attempted to explain. The moment I blinked the boy behind me pushed Wells.Â
âLook at this, everybody the Chancellor of earth.â Everyone laughs to most of Wells announce. They grab onto Clarke and I quickly push them off her. I walk over to the pair about to brawl and grab onto the back of the angered boys shirt.Â
Just as I grab him Finn jumps down from the podâs roof. I watched him go between the two boys.Â
âKidâs got one leg. How about you wait until itâs a fair fight?â Finn asks with a charming smile. I let go of my grip on the angered boys shirt. He jolts against the ground.Â
âHey, spacewalker.â I turn to Octavia as she walks over to us. âRescue me next.â She asks. A murmur of giggles and laughs echos the angered boy takes his friends away. Now that I get a good look at his face I know him.
John Murphy was his name. Clarke, Finn and I all end up at Wells side. I watch out of the corner of my eyes as Bellamy approaches his little sister. I watch him pull her away as I help Wells stands properly.Â
âŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠ..
I lean against a tree as Finn approaches us. Clarke is on the ground with Wells, attempting to fix his leg.Â
âSo Mount Weather. When do we leave?â He asks. His eyes drift over to me for a moment then go back to Clarke.Â
âRight now. Weâll be back tomorrow with food.â Clarke turns and tells Wells. Wellsâs eyes are sharp, angry even.Â
âHow are you two gonna carry enough food for a hundred.â I clear my throat and push of the tree.
âI could carry enough food for a hundred of us alone.â Finn nods his head and gives me a smirk. He turns around pulling two boys. The pair are the boys from before.
âFive of us. Can we go now?â Finn asks.Â
âSounds like a party. Make it six.â Octavia comes behind us. As Bellamy goes to interfere I walk into the drop ship. I comb my hands up the walls. Looking for any grove or dip that feels right.Â
âWhat are you doing?â To my surprise itâs Bellamyâs voice I hear first. I find a grove with the litters W.S. engraved into it. Pushing in the grove a door opens and there it is. Black and just for me is my operations suit. I pull it out and drop it on a chair.
Before anyone can question me again I begin to pull off my clothes. I can hear a collective gasp when I pull my jacket. The jagged and ugly scaring on my arm on full display. I went to take off my shirt when I heard her.
âTurn around!â I heard the shuffling of feet and I pull my boots and pants off. I dressed quickly in the armored suit they left me. Once completely dressed in my operation uniform I push myself up the wall. I find a handle and begins to pull myself up.
âWhat the hell are you doing?â I hear Finn yell from bellow me. I look down for a moment as I drop down a large box. The whole groups is here. I jump down landing with a thud. I quickly open the box and assemble ass the weapons left to me.
Iâm not surprised this place is load up for me. I ignore the screen with the Chancellor playing as I work. Finished putting away my weapon and clinking the finally lock on my assault gun I strap it to my back.
âWhat are we standing here for? Are we not going to go?â I ask. After a few quickly seconds Octavia leaves first. The rest of the ground soon follows after.Â
I catch Bellamyâs eyes as I move past him. His arm shootâs up and grab my forearm. I pause, slowly turning my head to his.
âWho the hell are you.â He doesnât seem angry. More confused if anything.
âA nightmare.â I with I pull away and walk after the group.

Chapter Seven
The snow hadnât stopped, if anything it only raged on. Y/n stood overlooking the sanctuary. Her armor glimmered under the sunlight. A bag was slung over her shoulder, golden circlet in her hair. Her hair woven into a braid with the comb from Ville as she stood next to her grey horse.
It nudged its nose into her metal stomach as she pet its mane. Maja laid on the ground sleeping soundlessly. Footsteps came up behind her.
âYouâre really leaving?â He sounded hopeful, maybe this was a joke. Turning around she met Nikoâs brights eye. She stared at him for a while.Â
âI have to go. I promised Iâd be back.â Her eyes were blank, hardly softened at the sight of him. He scoffed softly kicking at the snow. The snow bounced into Majaâs coat and she growls softly. He mockingly growled back at him.Â
âWill Egon even let you leave?â She nodded her head soundlessly. She didnât care whether or not he would let her. He couldnât stop her even if he wanted.
âAlina is going to join the ravkan army, I canât let her do that alone.â
âBullshit! Mal will be with her wonât he?â Slowly she turned her gaze back to the snow wrapping itself on the ground.Â
âItâs been five years Niko, I have to go back.â He glared sharply at her back. Niko couldnât understand it, the want to go home. He hated his home, and he had a real one. He knew the orphanage was not her home.
âWhy? You are home!â He yelled grabbing at her shoulder. She shrugged him off as her armor slowly fell. The thick wool cape cascades down her shoulders. Her thick black gloves embroidered with roses held tightly onto the ropes.
She attached the small cart that would hold Maja and a few trinkets of hers. Her palace wasnât to far, she would drop the stuff off before leaving.
âHow many years have I suffered for our saint.â
âWe suffer always for her! It is our sacred duty as Helios.â He uttered. Y/n moved Maja into the small cart so that she could sleep. She covered her wolf in thick furs to keep the snow off her.
âI was twelve when they took me, when they took me from Kermazin. When they took me from Alina and Mal.â
âI was twelve when I was blinded. I was thirteen when my flesh was burnt and cut, the scar is still as red are the poker used. I was fourteen when I bite off a chunk of my friends hand.â She told him as she turned around. Her gaze was hardened.Â
He couldnât speak, what could he say to combat her words. He too had be scared by the life of a Helios.
âI was fifteen when I was sent to Fjerda, forced to kill the boy I loved for a fake ring. I was sixteen when I murdered my best friend.â She trembled as her words left her throat. She mounted her horse, her hands gripping the harness. Niko grasped into her gloved fingers, a single tear falling down his cheek.
Slowly she reached her hand down, the soft leather brushing the water from his face. She held his check for a few seconds, her eyes softened.Â
âI was sixteen when my friends tried to take the bones from my body. And now has a seventeen year old I have murdered countless I have become something truly ruthless. And I am afraid.â She uttered.Â
She pulled back, her face hard once again. Adjusting her cloak she pet her horse, Tidalâs mane.Â
âI am afraid because I have enjoyed it far too much.â  She turned away from him, the horse slowly pulling away.
âYouâll be back? Sooner or later?â
âLater, I believe.â With that she was gone. Her horse sped off into the storm of snow.Â
The ravkan camp sheâd been placed in was less than ideal. Alina nor Mal was with her. She was late, too late to join in and become a mapmaker with Alina.Â
So now she was a simple soldier, a gun for hire. Y/n walked down the path with a humming softly. Her mind wandering as she dropped down a piece of bread to Maja.Â
The hungry wolf as she was ate every bite growling happily. Y/n smiled as she watched her beloved pet run forwards.Â
âThe Fjerdan bitch has graced us today.â She groaned softly as she turned around. The others in the battalion had always like to use that on her.Â
âHow can I help you boys?â She asked with a smile. The trio behind her smiled softly.Â
âGuess what?â The taller one, Lief said with a smile. She cocked her head to the side.
âWeâve just been assigned to guard the cartographers, your sister is in the group weâre going to protect.â Her eyes widened at his words.Â
âWhat?â Her voice was barely there.
âTheyâre due to go to the camp near the fold. Generals worried about all the grisha with fire around our maps.â The short red head answered slinging his arm around her shoulders.
Her head tuned to him, her eyes baring down at him. A low and hateful growl came from Maja and she moved near Y/n. Quickly Roam the red head moved away.Â
âThey are called Inferni, and they are a part of this army. Theyâre not gonna destroy our maps.â She uttered softly.
âYeah well weâre going to guard them so pack up your bag please.â Driudâs told her with a smile. Y/n sighed softly as she picked up Maja, keeping her white paws out of the mud.
She held tightly into her wolf as she walked about the camp. Maja all but purred as her legs dangled in the air. Placing her down in her tent Y/n begins to pack up. Her mind drifts to her true north.
Alina and Mal.
Y/n stood, her breath quivering as she saw her. Her sister, her Alina. She stood with a smile on her face. She was laughing at whatever Mal had said.
Mal, he was safe. He was safe with her. Her eyes swelled with tears as she took a step forwards. They were both dressed in ravkan army uniforms.Â
âYou two look ridiculous.â The pair froze. Slowly turning to Y/n. Like a firework Alina shot off towards her sister. She tackled her to the ground, hugging her tightly. Y/n had become a mass of tears as she fell with them.Â
Malâs arms were more muscular than when they were children. Alina was just as slender as she left. She could hear the whispers from behind her family, along with Maiaâs soft growling.Â
Slowly Y/n sat up with them both in her arms. Hesitantly she raised her gloved finger to Alinaâs cheek, brushing away her tears. Mal laughed softly as he helped the two girls up.
âYouâre back!â He laughed as he crashed into her again, his arms tightly wrapped around her. She went stiff for a few moments then nuzzled her head in his neck.
She inhaled him deeply, he smelt of pine and dirt. Ever her tracker. She pulled away with unshed tears in her eyes. Â
âYou both look hideous.â She whispered quietly as she pulled away. Alina rolled her eyes softly as she took a step towards her sister.Â
She was different now, taller and stronger. Her eyes harder, her smile halved. She sighed again as Maja came to her masters side. Maja sat patiently as her calf as she stared at the strangers in front of her.
âYou have a dog now? You never mentioned that in your letters!â Mal asked as he bent down. He reached a hand out to pet Maja. Like a puppy the war dog hide behind Y/n. She growled softly from between Y/nâs legs.Â
Maja cast her blood eyes up to Y/n with a quirked look. Y/n slowly pet the soft white fur with a gentle smile. Mal frown softly as Alina laughed. From behind there commanding officer called to them.Â
Y/n watched their eyes fall and she took a step forward.
âWhat are we waiting for? We have a country to protect yea?â Alina and Mal shared a looked. Then Y/n ringed her thick cloak from her body. She too was dressed in a first army uniform.
The trio laughed softly as they began to walk towards the camp once more. Y/n lingered behind for a moment. The more she stared at Alina the more she looked like Isla. Wide eyed and soft.
Y/n would do anything to make sure it stayed that way.Â
Y/n walked to her commanders tent with a groan. She knew what this was about. It was always the same thing. She hasnât gotten into any fights the last month.Â
Well she has but it was a betting ring so that didnât count. Maybe it was because before the messaged came to her she was on her way to a fight. She didnât care much as she entered the tent.
âLieutenant Bohdan, you asked to see me.â She answered as she stood stiffed. The older man cast her a glare as he threw a letter on the table. Its wax seal of the Lantsov line, double eagles. She couldnât help but roll her eyes.
âTheyâve sent another letter requesting your presence in court.â He answered to her as he held a look or annoyance on his face.
âTell them like every other time that I am busy with the safety of this glorious nation.â She mocked softly as she sat down. Bohdan groaned softly.
âYou cannot deny a summons from the king for much longer. He desperately wishes to meet you, the Blood Helios of the Ravkan army.â She rolled her neck and sighed.
âYou are the first of your kind this word has truly seen, your cult doesnât like outsiders. Yet you joined his army.â She scoffed again. Cult. What did they know of her way of life. Cult, the word was sickening.
So they devoted their lives to a saint. Others had done the same yet they were call cult. Even now, so far away from the Helios court she still prayed. How could she not, herâŠâŠ her rose was now with her saint.
âHe thinks he is blessed. Arrogant would be a better word for him.â She mumbled. Bohdan cleared his throat. The Lanstov was still king she suppose.Â
âYou are closest thing he has to a weapon on this side of the fold.â
âAnd yet I always cross the fold.â
âEvery shipment you e even been on had made it both ways. It is no coincidence your name is always pulled.â He answered. She could feel the guilt in his words.Â
âI will not go, burn the letter.â Her Lieutenant groaned softly taking the letter. He threw it over a candle and let it burn.Â
âThe next letter will not be denied, you will go.â She scoffed again and stood.
âI owe to no allegiance to your king, I do not serve him. I stay in her army because my sister is here. Nothing more or less.â Bohdan nods his head.
âThe king will not be pleased.â He answered with a tight look. She shrugged softly as she stood up.
âTell him that I had already crossed the fold too late for him.â
Bohdan sighed softly taking a deep breath. Y/n wasnât a soldier to him. She served her own caused whatever that may be.Â
âHonestly Bohdan do you really think the King is sending these letters? I bet itâs his little apparat who sent it, or maybe even his black general.â She amused. Bohdan raised a brown.Â
âIt matters not who sent it, the next one will not be brunt by me.â Y/n looked at the ashes and sighed.
âVery well, I will burn the next one then.â
Then she turned and left, Maja followed her. Summons from the king, please, she would ignore it. She didnât need his approval to do anything. She was the Blood Helios of the first army, but she had not loyalty to Ravkaâs king.
He was pig, greedy and glutinous. Some king he was, he wouldnât even march into battle with his soldier. He didnât plan any attacks or even show real support for his men and women.
No, he simply sat on his throne get fat next to his wife. A queen who spent the ravkaâs money. As she pulled off her coat and entered the tent of sweaty men she grimaced.Â
Her hands were bandaged as she found a challenger. Battles for coin were simple enough. Always helped get the blood pumping. As she finished her match quickly, earring some neredi.Â
As she stared down at the currency of Novyi Zem she knew who she had to send the money to. As she turned to leave she caught Malâs eyes. Her own glazed over him as he fought.Â
She smiled and stepped towards him to watch. She could feel the disapproval of his eyes as she stood holding her small bag.Â
As he own matched finished she handed him a clean rag. The brothers cheered at her side as she felt the vibrations of another move.Â
âIâll take a turn. How about it? Just you and me.â With the flick of the manâs wrist, the dust swirled at them. On instinct Y/nâs armor flashed in her body. Her arm pulled at Mall as she shield him from the dust.Â
As her helmet fell she met the squallerâs eyes with her own. Mal rushed forwards to fight but was held back.Â
âIf you lose, you'll be in the medika. If you win, they'll throw you in the brig.â The older soldier announced holding Mal back. The arrogant squaller all but laughed as he swirled the winds again.
âCome on! Anyone!â Stepping forwards Y/n let her armor fall. Her wrist were bandaged yes but not fully covered. As if injured she wrapped them up completely, leaving no skin showing.Â
âAnyone?â She asked with a blank look. The squaller turned to her with a wide smile.
âIâve heard of you havenât I? The cultist of the first army.â She smiled stepping towards him. Mal moved out of his friendâs grip and grabbed at her wrist.Â
âY/n,â He started but she wasnât paying him any mind. She was almost glad her reputation proceeded her.
âYou asked for anyone, donât tell me youâre afraid now?â She mocked gently. The tent had gone all but silent. The older soldier in charge stared at Y/n. She never was one to turn down a fight.Â
âY/n we need to go find Alina.â Mal interjected attempting to pull her back. She sighed softly allowing him to lead her out. She pulled back her hand and let it fall.
âFjerdan scum.â Before Mal could think sheâd already whipped around. She move faster than the squaller could see. Her fist ached into his face as she collided with his body.Â
Scum? She was not scum. She had not made a name for herself as the Blood Helios to be called scum. It took seven soldiers to pry her off the bleeding man. Mal has quickly grabbed onto her shoulder and leaned her away.
Her bandaged were coated in crimson as she left. Speckles of the red dripped down her face. She didnât think much of it, wasnât the first time, wouldnât be the last.Â
âYou never can back down from a challenge can you.â She was silent as she walked next to him. Mal would never understand her. Alina could never understand her. But they saw a change within her.
They couldnât hold her as easily, she pull her arms away. She wouldnât sing to them anymore. She could hardly bring herself to draw when with them.Â
âIâm sorry.â She answered. Mal chuckled softly as nudged her shoulder quickly.Â
âI donât think itâs a bad thing, you just need to learn to not be so angry all the time.â  She hummed softly. Her anger had protected her for the most part.
Maybe Mal was right, maybe she should control her anger. However what good was her anger if concealed.Â
Y/n smiled softly as she allowed Alina to pull her into a ground hug. She hadnât wanted to but gave her sister this. Alina has been on the road for a few weeks now.Â
Whether she likes to admit it or not she missed the smell of her sister. Charcoal, paper and sweat. She smelt of the drawing room Egon helped her craft in her palace.
Egon.
They hadnât spoken much since she left. It had only been a few months but the distance was jarring. She missed her êêêžêžêêȘ. Heâd always been next to her.
When the hunger of fasting took all her strength, he helped her stand. The sword became to heavy in her arms, he trained her to lift it. When she wept over Ville, he had held her tightly. When she sat as her roses grave, he tied the blue ribbon for her.
From Nikoâs letters Egon wasnât much better. He was gloomy and rarely partook in the celebrations anymore. He would hardly smile when the young and older Helios would dance together.
Niko had been begging for the past week for her to go back. If only for the lighting of the barrier celebrations. Y/n knew she would be able to go. Bohdan would understand.
She just couldnât go.
There was something deep, primal gnawing at her core. It had kept her rooted in place, in the first army. Something was about to happen. She could all but feel it in the vibrations of the world.Â
The earth itself was trying to speak to her. Try as hard as she could, Y/n didnât know what the words were. The song the earth played was off key for her.
âCome on Y/n, the bells just rung.â Alina smiled softly. Y/n blinked at her sister with a smile. Alina tugged gently as her hand. Her normal back gloved with roses on them protected her.
Y/n followed behind her sister, the innocent look on her face brought a smile to her own. It was times like this Y/n felt like the older sister. In reality the sisters didnât know.
They had arrived at the orphanage the same night in two baskets.Â
Each basket had a small note stating their names and nothing else. They chose to believe themselves twins by different fathers.Â
By the time Bohdan has begun to speak Y/n was already done. She left Maja back at her tent, so the others crowded around her. She watched Alinaâs gaze move to the poster. The propaganda that ravka has made against the Shu Han.
She reached down and squeezed Alinaâs hand. Alinaâs chocolate eyes bore up at Y/nâs harden e/c eyes softly. Y/n looked down for a moment and gave her a slight smile. The cold leather was peaceful against Alinaâs skin.
There was a Fjerdan poster too, it simply didnât bother Y/n as much. She was Fjerdan, that would never change. She learnt the language, learnt her peoples customs. There was a beauty in the great ice land, not grisha but to her.
The snow was cold and fierce. The air thin and made you cough. The people unamused. They were everything she was in one way or another. Fjerdan has her heritage, nothing could ever change that. So why would she bother.Â
âGunman Y/n Starkov and Tracker Malyen Oretsev.â Y/n head perked up, her eyes on Mal.Â
âDid he? But youâre in our unit.â Alina mumbled her eyes on Mal. Y/n scoffed softly, Bohdan had to be wrong. Mal was to stay with Alina since she would be crossing the fold.
âIt has to be an error. It has to be.â Mal uttered.
Scoffing Y/n replied, âIt better be.â
âDidnât sound like an error, Mal.â Alina answered dropping Y/nâs hand. Her gloved hand returned to her side as she stared down at them both. As they were dismissed Y/n stepped forwards towards Bohdan.Â
âMal?â
Well, if it does work, I'll get to visit Ketterdam.â He amused as she walked away.
The skiff placement was in fact not a mistake. Bohdanâs hands were tied in the issue. The Darkling wanted a tracker in the other side of the fold to look for something. Rage boiled inside of Y/n.
They had stuck a deal months ago. She would go into the fold as many times as need to ensure her family stayed together. Twelve times has she journeyed through. Twelve times had Bohdan kept his promise.
She wanted to scream at the sky. Her family wasnât safe ever. If she prayed more to her Sol saint then she already had, she would look mad. Extremist, cult girl, fjerdan bastard. She could the names ragging war in her head.Â
She could keep Mal safe, no doubt in her mind. Something was just off now. The world was trying to warn her, but she could not hear. Hearing had never been her strong suit. Blood first questions later.Â
Her rose was much better than hearing. She had to hear. With no voice or eyes, to hear was her only vice. When twig crunched, she would hear. Every secret and lie she heard.Â
It was her roses gift from there saint. Y/n wondered what her saint would think of her now. Was she a disgrace? Sheâd left her saints temple. Her saints army to join one of a false king.
Her saints was a holy one, made of the sunlight that could burn and break as well as glow and shine. Did her saints admire her devotion. The blood sheâd spilt in her name.
âI thought Iâd find comfort here.â Y/n smiled faintly as she watched Alina sit next to her in the perch. The entire laid before them.
âPlanning a coup?â Alina giggles. Y/n shook her head softly.Â
âHate to burst your bubble Lina, the only coup I would dream of planing is the ravkan kings. Not this base.â Y/n countered with her most gentle smile. Alina stare at her sister for a few moments.
âYou werenât at dinner.â
âI wasnât hungry, plus the cook doesnât like me.â
âI know the feeling.â Y/nâs brows curled upwards at her words. It was no secret many didnât like the two sisters. Y/n didnât understand it.
âI could sacrifice the cook, like how everyone thinks I worship.â Alina laughed brightly. Her smile reached both side of her face, showing off her pearly white teeth. Even coated in sweat and dirt Alina was still beautiful.
There was an innocence to her face. Round like a child in a way. A small bit of baby fat, the smallest amount. Meals were an odd thing in this army. Y/n was trained for hunger, Alina less so.
âDo you even wonder how our lifeâs would be ifâŠ. If you never left.â Y/n hummed softly.
Such a word would never exist. It couldnât. Y/n was hand picked by her saint to become a warrior.
âI am nothing without my saint.â She whispered so low Alina could not hear. It was a confession she only dare to utter with other Helios. It was a chant she would sing into battle in her saints name.Â
âWhat was that?â Alina asked, her voice calm.Â
âIf Iâd never been taken I would still be here. Not as just a gun for hire but more. Iâd like to think Iâd be a commander by now. With money so you and Mal would be with me. You could draw as much as you want and Mal⊠Mal could find and keep as many bunnies as heâd like.âÂ
Silence engulfed the pair. Alinaâs eyes wereÂ
strictly on Y/n. The soft shadow the lights brought to her face. The hallow bags under her eyes. The gentle shimmer to her skin under the moonlight. The single hair out of place. The way her e/c were muted so slightly.
âI think I wouldâve liked that.â Y/n then looked back at her. Their eyes met, neither sister looking away.
âI doubt I ever wouldâve gotten so far here, not with my fjerdan side so prominent. Maybe I couldâve been a pirate instead.â Alina laughed again as Y/n let out a small giggle. Alina smiled more so, the tiniest laugh has escaped Y/n.
âWeâre both misfits, me half Shu, you Fjerdan Y/n.â Alina mumbled.Â
âFinally found you both.â Malâs distinct footsteps came up behind them. Y/n stood and grabbed her satchel.
âThat is my queue to go.â Y/n said standing up. Mal furrowed his brown and went to grab her arm.
âWhy?â She raised her shoulder.Â
âMaja needs to be fed, before she eats Lief. She has been eyeing her muscles.â Her family laughed at her words once more. Laugher, the most addictive drug.Â
As she left there laughed was gone. Like any drug she would protect and covenant it.Â

A/n: I want to preface this by saying you do not have to look like this cast at all. The royal bloodline of Star fairies literally come from the stars. You star fairy! Reader came from a star and can look however youâd like. Antares came from the stars and when he married Astra she became a part of the royal bloodline. There first child is Caelum and he was given to them by the stars. Then you came FROM THE STARS. You can ignore that they all have silver hair. That will be explained in the storyline.
This was so cool

Her word was gone, thatâs all she knew. The only world, whether she enjoyed it or not was gone. All her friends, all her family, hell even her dogs were gone. Turned to ashes when a black hole came for her earth. Sometimes as she laid awake in bed she wondered if maybe just maybe somethingâŠ. Someone survived the destruction of her earth.
She knew better though, she knew much better know. Only she and a baby had survived earths destruction. A baby that she had raised for the past five years of her life. A baby thatâs shared a strange trait with her for not being hers biologically.
She still couldnât decide whether she lived or hated Pandora. There was something in the air that made her felt like she belonged. Not in familiar sense, more like strings being pulled at her very soul. She wasnât sure anymore.
This was her place nowâŠ..
If only she knew how much that would change when a man in a wheelchair came.
Burn it allÂ
Camilo madrigal x villain [NAME
The villagers were sobbing, begging for the Madrigals to save them. But you knew, you knew they wouldnât come. You stood next to your father a numb look on your face. Your father looks at you telepathically telling you to shut them up!Â
With a wave of your hand a circle of fire surrounded the villagers. âSHUT UPâ you scream. Slowly they all began to quiet down. A cruel smile came on our fatherâs face. He simply said âKneelâ. When none kneel you grew fearful. You looked to your brother, eyes pleading him not to.Â
But he could only give you a look of sympathy. âKNEELâ your brother screams, electricity sparking from his hands. On command everyone kneels. One young girl doesnât move confused. With that she is struck down with lightning. Her burnt body laying outside the of the circle. You feel a few tears fall down your face as you let out a scream. The little girls mother is sobbing, and her father is glaring at you as you walk to her body. Stopping the fire you look at her burnt body, you feel sick to your core.Â
She was just a little girl who was confused. You felt angry at your brother for killing her, did he even care what her name was. You knew her name, her name was Lavender. You just couldnât hate him. He had no choice. You BOTH had no choice. This was your life, killing, lying, torturing, and more killing. You hate it, because there is no way out. Not even in death. Bending down to her body you place a kiss on her, this makes her body burn. Then turn to ash, a gust of wind carries the ashes away. You get up sending a sad look to your brother, that is the closest thing to a thank you for the wind he would get.Â
Your brother has a guilty look on his face. He hates having to kill kids. Hearing rustling behind you turn to see the Madrigals. Isabellaâs dress is bloody, and torn. Dolores is on her mother ears bleeding. PepĂĄ has a cloud above her but is otherwise okay. Felix is bruised up, and Luisa is not even there. She was dead before Julieta could heal her. Julietaâs hand is bandage as it was cut off, and has cuts all over her. Mirabel is crying, blood soaking through the dress. Abuela is holding her candle that is almost out. You canât even look at Antonio. His small form hiding behind Camilo.Â
You couldnât even meet his gaze. It hurt to much, you know what you did was messed up. You pretend to love him to get close to him. But you didnât know you would fall for Camilo too. By the time you realize it was to late, the plan was set in motion. You tried to stop you father but he knew what you didnât. Father knew about your powers, but Camilo didnât. Your father would tell him if you backed out now. This was your job, being the manipulative bitch. But it still hurt.Â
âAhh I see some of you lived to try and save your little villageâ Your father spat. You and your brother share a sad look that the Madrigals see. A disappointed look comes over Almaâs face. âI will ask you once leave our home. Leave and have her let the villagers goâ Alma yelled. A small chuckle came from your lips, she couldnât, no wouldnât say your name. I was kinda funny. Your laugh didnât go unnoticed.Â
âHow could you! Why did you do this to us! We could have helped you! [NAME] TELL US    WHY!âMirabel screamed. You just turned around and watched your flames. The way the fire crackled brought you a very small piece of calm. Then you thought about what Mirabel said. Everyone was still quiet, waiting for your response. You had done because it was all you had ever known. All you had ever done was hurt people. You didnât now what love was, so when Camilo gave it to you, you got scared, but thatâs not why you did it. You did it because it was your job, the only thing you had ever known. Â
âWhen I was young I was scared of my everything. And I mean everything. Diego would laugh at how childish I was. One day he played a little prank on me. Do you want to know what he didâ you whispered.Â
Now concerned Isabella open her mouth but nothing came out. For some reason she understood. This is your way of making yourself feel better about what you had done. Thatâs why you wouldnât face them. Thatâs why you looked at the ring of fire around the villagers. Fearfully Isabella asks â What did Diego do? [NAME] what did your brothers prank do to youâ.Â
âHe locked me in a shed. Behind the house we lived in. Diego had filled the shed with things I feared. Spiders, snakes, it was dark, and it was a small shed. I began I panic in the shed, crying out for my big brother to let me out. As I cried I let out a scream. Then in my hand was a orb of fire. And for the first timeâ you paused.
Now everyone was watching you play with your flames. The flames dance in your hand.  Slowly changing into animals. The fire looked beautiful, it looked like moving glass.Â
âAnd for the first time I wasnât afraid of something. I stoped screaming and watched the fire in my hand. I donât remember how long I was in the shed, but my father found me eventually. Diego was punished for scaring me. And soon after Diego found out his powerâ I finished.Â
âMy father was always there for me, how could I tell him no. So if your father told you that you needed to kill a whole village to protect yourself, you would do it. Right? My whole life I was taught to kill, manipulate, hurt, and torture. Itâs all weâve ever known. This job was no differentâ you spoke. It was a lie, this job was different. Because you fell in love, you felt love for the first time. Camiloâs scream caught you off guard.Â
âWHAT! What do you mean this job was no different. Was it all a lie? Was everything you ever told me a lie?â Camilo screamed, tears streaming down his face. Then, uncertainly, he whispered âWas our love a lie too?â
[NAME] paused. Did she love Camilo? Or was she just trying to make herself feel better? Was she trying to convince herself that she loved Camilo? Was this all just an act for her mission?
Camilo stared at her, all the hope in his eyes diminishing. In his head he loves her, ever if she killed his cousin. The time he shared with [NAME] were the only time he could be himself. With her family he had to be perfect, just like Isabella. Everyone had to be perfect. He wanted to be free with you. He needed her, he needed her to be happy.Â
âI donât knowâ was all you said. You didnât now what you wanted. Your father loves you but it was tough love. Camiloâs love was different. It made you hands sweaty, your face flush red, and made you feel warm inside. Camiloâs face dropped a little, and your father was getting mad.
âIf you donât know then there must be something the- THERE IS NOTHING THERE [NAME] DOSENT LOVE YOUâ your father finished for Camilo. I wanted to yell at your father for yelling at him. He had no right! Camilo just wanted to be loved by you. Right? You didnât know.Â
â[NAME] this is what we do. You and Diego are evil, and cruel. YOU CANNOT LOVE HIM, you canât love. Youâve done this a million times, itâs not different from all the others. Ana mlark, James hever, Becca jones, you did this with all of them. CAMILO MADRIGAL is no different. You think you love them but you donât, you just think you doâ your father shrieked. He was right about them. About Ana about James about Becca, but not Camilo.Â
â[NAME] donât do it I love youâ
âŠâŠâŠ.
â[NAME] you donât love him.â
âŠâŠâŠ..
â[NAME]â

Hi, I stumbled upon your blog when I was looking for Narnia artwork. Can I clarify if you write for anyone other than Caspian?
Yeah I totally write for other narnia characters. Caspian is just my favorite. I have a whole list of characters and fandoms I write for. My request list is completely open. It just takes me a second to actually write đŹ. But yeah totally.
~~~~~~ Simp
If one more person follows me in a bikini Iâm gonna cry. I just want to write my fanfics in peace. Please!
Taking requests I may or may not know the fandom so give me a little context and Iâll see what I can do. Also most of my work has darkish or dark themes.
