gonna participate and add to a bunch of people with eastern european accents. I have a strong russian one
rb this and tell me what ur accent is. this has no purpose except the fact i just realized i could have like... mutuals with cockney accents or newfoundland accents or something and thats just wild
it makes me so sad that there seems to be no juggalo community in my country. like, i know that it's a mostly american thing, but i know people out here love ICP too, i just can't find them anywhere:( sometimes i even think about making a little community somewhere, perhaps like a server or a blog, but i think i won't handle the responsibility since i'm pretty busy with work. i just want juggalo friends from my country </3
Anat the Canaanite goddess of sexual love, war, and hunting. Progenitress of heroes, lady of Palestine.
Info on each sketch below:
Top right: Anat is shown here in a man's war kilt and her hair pulled up, a nod to the Anat statue head found in Gaza. This is after Baal Hadad's 'death', with her cheeks gouged by grief and face painted to resemble a man's beard. This beard imitation combined with her topless clothing and the horned headdress she wears is to evoke a sense of Baal having risen from the dead to claim revenge.
Bottom Right: An exploration of her musculature, with a focus on the markings on her hips and stomach. Drawn from female Canaanite fertility idols that show similar markings with a lot of emphasis on the navel/bellybutton.
Bottom Left: Anat at the feast of Baal's new palace. She wears expensive, imported Egyptian linens. Her hair is braided, eyelids darkened with kohl, and hands darkened with henna.
Center: Anat's fullbody with lots of influence from historical Palestinian dress. She is shown with a vulture because Aqhat, killed at her order, was eaten by vultures and because Anat is often shown with wing imagery.
I am actually begging some people to just let some spaces exist untouched by real-world issues and horrors.
Like I've lost count of the amount of times peaceful game or fandom servers have been ruined by people stampeding in with political rants, bitching about world issues, demanding internal activism, demanding vent channels so they can whine about their shitty parents, ect.
Like. Respectfully. Not every single space has to be inclusive of and welcoming of outside topics. The real world sucks. We don't needed to be reminded of that absolutely everywhere.
i do think it's so fun that there's a limit to the maximum size of a structure that your mind can conceive of before your imagination starts glitching and struggling to fully render it like an overloaded processor machine. your imagination is only limitless if it stays within the dimensional guidelines encoded into it. and needless to say the one i can imagine is bigger than any of you losers could ever hope to dream of.
โWe owe a debt to third world women theologians who have noticed the similarities between Maryโs life and the lives of so many poor women even today. Giving birth in a homeless situation; fleeing as a refugee with your baby to a strange land to escape being killed by military action; losing a child to unjust execution by the state; our newspapers yield up these icons of suffering even today. Mary is sister to the marginalized women who live unchronicled lives in oppressive situations. It does her no honor to rip her out of her conflictual, dangerous historical circumstances and transmute her into an icon of a peaceful, middle-class life robed in royal blue.โ

Shout out to me and the other co-host who are going through the same crisis except in the opposite directions ("Oh no I'm used to stress how do I deal with daily life" vs "Oh no I'm used to daily life how do I deal with stress")
maybe this time picking at Textures on my skin will lead to being silky smooth
