Why do people behave like Edwin is the main character and Charles is just there to be his "bestie" low key making him "sidekick"??? Because it's starting to feel racist.

They go through the same amount of development throughout the show. Both of them have major story lines.

Just watched an interviewer introducing George and Jayden as "George, who plays Edwin. Jayden, who plays Edwin's best friend Charles."

I NEED YOU TO SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU WHITE BOY. THEY BOTH BELONG TO EACH OTHER EQUALLY.

I love Edwin. But Charles is not his accessory. Treating Charles as anything less than equal feels racist.

In the spirit of this holiday (it's Passover rn) I have a question for queer people of different cultures/ religions/ groups around the world.

Do your culture/ religion have specific traditions/ customs for LGBTQ people?

There's a relatively new Jewish tradition in Passover of including an orange on the Sedder plate to represent and support LGBTQ people.

It got me thinking if other cultures have things like that as well.

Do you have any specific traditions/ slangs/ symbols in your culture to represent queer people?

I couldn't find enough information online so I would love to hear from you about your diffrent cultures!

AI is really showing it's racism.

I saw a series of AI photos based on books description vs. the movies version of the Hunger Games characters.

It made Cinna a white blonde European man while the only thing that was ever described about Cinna's physical appearance in the books was his eyes.

The AI automatically filled the gaps of information with white blonde man that frankly looked so boring.

I'm not surprised by the fact that AI is racist and is making shitty art I'm just surprised about how fucking blant it's racism is. It's not even trying to hide it.

I heard there were people who complained Cinna's casting was "blackwashing"??? His colour was never described in the books stfu.

I personally always imagined Cinna as poc years before I even heard there were movies (I specifically imagined him Asian for some reason, with gorgeous dark hair). His casting choice as poc made perfect sense for me.

He is supposed to stand out between all the capitol people who are mostly rich classist prejudice people so yeah making him poc is a great way of making him stand out and more unic, contrast him to the other prejudice people.

Making him another white blonde European man would be so fucking boring.

Ohhhhh

This is hard. Because of crows weren't already out of the options crows/ ravens would be the animal I'd pick.

My favourite animal is wolves but all werewolves adaptations I saw so far are extremely bad adaptations of wolves.

This is extremely random but I'm an autistic person with special interests in animals so probably some sort of Indian exotic small cat. They have a lot of extremely exotic cats I really like them even though I'm more of a dog person. I'm actually huge on dogs I'm just obsessed with India's cats life.

And this show seemed to be worshipping cats anyway.

So yeah, any type of lynx, Caracal, leopard cat, Rusty Spotted Cat, or any of the other tons of cats types they have. Just some sort of an exotic Asiatic cat, one you don't usually see. That's what I want.

(but also a unicorn so it could spray Charles and Edwin rainbows and make those old timey boys embrace their gayness and get together already/j)
