to be honest there has never been a fictional character i’ve actually wanted to date. like. i want them to date each other. i don’t want myself as a person to be involved in this scenario whatsoever. what would i add to this narratively? what’s my thematic purpose in the narrative? immersion breaking. 

Yes of course canon x oc ships are Fantastic but allow me to offer an alternate option thats WAY funnier: canon character who’s life is Plagued and Haunted by your ocs. Who cannot stand your oc and dreads every waking second that your oc might cross their path and their day will be irrepreably ruined.

100% at first Zoro just did it and Nami was like “fuck it, whoever finds Zoro first gets a fuckin reward” and from there Luffy and Law one day were annoying one another and Chopper came running out and was like “where is Zoro!?” and everyone just shrugged cause like ??? “it’s not my day to watch him”

it was Robin’s idea to whomever found him would be king of the ship for a day and how is Luffy not going to jump on that for one, for two, Nami isn’t going to miss this chance ever, and three Law wants some god damn peace and quiet and he’ll fuckin get it

I agree they’re the top 3 cause of their senses, but I also think it goes a little deeper than that and they’re all just so fuckin competitive. Chopper isn’t, he’s just so adamant about bandages.
