Fives: Ahsoka, relax. Go get a beer. Ahsoka: I don't want any beer. Fives: Who said it was for you? Ahsoka: Mmm...

La plus belle des malédictions
Been feral for this pose in rexsoka font since the timebomb music video came out, hnngggg 💜
Yes, I feel disenchanted with most new things, I don't know… it's not the same.
I think the reason a lot of the newer disney star wars stuff doesn't work for me is that it feels like it's more focused on being a "star wars" themed story rather than being a science fiction story
Yesss!
Ahsoka: *returns in season 7*
Captain Rex: *unlocks the ability to smirk constantly*
they r playing smash bros
rip anakin skywalker you would've loved being the annoying ness main who does nothing but spam pk fire over and over and rip ahsoka tano you would've loved being the one who never settles on a specific character purely because you like to jack with your opponent (she's a fan of corrin's side b swipe)
Called on a special mission, Commander Rex and his men have been sent to a mysterious planet. The objective? To uncover mysterious disappearances and find a special object.
Strange vegetation, even stranger and more deadly fauna, whispers, apparitions: all this is what the soldiers must contend with to complete the mission. The situation becomes even more dangerous after the appearance of a mysterious woman, who demands their departure from the planet or else terrible things will happen...
@rexsokaweekofficial
I liked this premise so much that I might do more with this AU; unfortunately, I'm not good enough at writing to turn it into a fanfic. But if anyone is interested, please send me a message and we'll work together to see what comes out! <3

Thanks for the tag @whyamismall!!
Ahsoka let out a shaky breath and sat down on her bed. Burying her head in her hands, she let her tears fall.
Was Rex right?
Last line I wrote for another self-indulgent fic that will probably only ever be seen fully by me but that’s okay; you get a sliver of it

Oh god... I can see it happening and it's heartbreaking! I love it!

Begins during the chip removal scene in S7
I am one with the force and the force is with me.
There was a rush of memories all at once. A flood of images in Rex’s mind of Ahsoka. Each moment on the battlefield with her, each time he’d risk himself to save her life.
Months spent by her side to guarantee she wasn’t harmed.
Each memory came as vivid as the last, as fast as the blaster bolts that constantly barraged them.
I am one with the force and the force is with me.
Then nothing
Then a memory again, stirred up from the other, brought to the forefront of him mind.
“Rex, I know what I said, about never getting a padawan,” Anakin had told him. “But Ahsoka is here and she’s gonna stay. So promise me this.”
Rex nodded. “Yes, sir?”
“You will always keep her safe. You will protect her. If you ever have to choose her or me? You choose her. You keep her safe. You keep her alive. You understand? You promise.”
Rex nodded. “I promise, sir.”
Somewhere -it seemed distant- there was buzzing, like somewhere trying to force open a door. And there was a voice, and beeping, like droids.
Lightsabers opening.
Her lightsabers.
“I promise, sir.”
A door opening.
Blaster fire.
“I promise, sir.”
Rex forced his eyes open and reached for his blasters.
“I promise, sir.”
He sat up and fired shots at the men breaking into the exam room.
The door shut.
Breathing heavily, he watched Ahsoka turn and look at him.
“Rex?” she asked. “Are you okay?”
Rex shook, but he lowered his blasters. “Yeah…yeah, kid. I’m okay.”
——————————————————————
They had barely spoken a word to each other since escaping the crash site. And really what was there to say? Disbelief and grief consumed their thoughts and feelings.
Yet, as they sat next to each other by the sad excuse for a fire, Ahsoka found her mind returning to one event over and over again. She wanted to ask about it, yet fear gripped her heart, uncertain of Rex’s response. Why would he want to discuss it at all?
But she couldn’t let it go.
“Rex,” she said, her voice more a hoarse whisper than anything else. “You shot those men. In the exam room. You killed them.” She turned her head to look at him. His eyes were fixed on the fire as he leaned forward on his knees. “Why?”
She watched his forehead crease and eyebrows knit together. His somber eyes already filled with pain seemed swallowed in a sea of agony as the moment returned to him as well.
She looked away, guilt immediately settling as a pit in her stomach. Why had she asked?
Ahsoka turned to tell him to forget it, but he spoke.
“At the beginning of the war,” Rex started, his own voice almost as hoarse as her own. “Right after you arrived and you were settled in, Skywalker and I talked. And he made me promise, promise to keep you safe, no matter what. You were always the priority. Always. Above all else, keep her safe. I never intend to break that promise.”
Ahsoka swallowed hard as Rex turned and looked at her. His eyes were still filled with the grief they both bore. Yet there was also something much deeper. Something good. Something she only saw in his eyes when he looked at her. Maybe hope. Maybe love.
“He made you promise that?” Ahsoka whispered, her voice cracking as tears welled in her eyes.
Rex nodded solemnly. “I promised him I’d keep you alive. And if I’ve done nothing else, at least I’ve done that.”
Ahsoka looked away and closed her eyes, letting the tears fall.
It was all overwhelming.
Anakin’s unrelenting selflessness to keep her safe. Rex’s undying loyalty to carry out that order. The love that came from both of them to let that happen. Rex’s decision to choose her over his own brothers.
She didn’t understand.
A sob escaped her, and in the next moment, arms wrapped around her, pulling her close.
Ahsoka leaned into the hug.
“Thank you,” she whispered between sobs.
“Of course,” Rex whispered back. “I meant it when I made that promise. And it’s only meant more as time’s gone on. Ahsoka Tano, I think I’ll always choose you.”
Ahsoka sniffed, tears streaming down her face. “Me too, Rex. Me too.”
