so many people hate seeing Criston on screen but he’s a dick in such a totally normal way that it makes him hysterically funny in contrast to the living anime characters he hangs out with. i think the daeron talk between alicent and gwayne is my biggest win this episode

everyone’s like “ ha ha daeron’s kind because he wasn’t raised by alicent” but guess who else he wasn’t raised by? viserys. he wasn’t raised in an environment where he was a second thought always to his father. he didn’t see the abuse his mother and siblings faced from viserys. not absolving alicent of her questionable parenting but viserys f*cked up the green kids just as much if not more and daeron was spared of that.
