a really great organization that i don't see any posts about here is HEAL palestine. it was founded by steve sosebee, who was a founding president of the PCRF before leaving in late 2023 to refocus his efforts on heal palestine to better meet the needs of palestinians impacted by the genocide. the organization provides palestinians in gaza with food, clean water, shelters, "makeshift classrooms," and even medical evacuation for some children when it's possible--their services are pretty wide.
you can donate here if you would like to send a tax-deductible donation to an organization. also, i don't think any evacuations are possible right now, but if you're in the united states and you'd like to welcome medically evacuated children in the future, i highly recommend signing up for their newsletter or following them on social media so you can stay updated in case any children evacuated by HEAL come to your area for treatment. welcoming these kids at the airport is a really moving way to provide them with moral support, entirely for free.

22/23 for the ask meme?
22. Is there any OC of yours people tend to mischaracterize? If yes, how?
mmm not to my knowledge? i have thoughts on how people could mischaracterize my ocs, but thats just my imaginings. to be frank, my ocs are not popular enough to be widely mischaracterized and my friends generally understand them very well.
23. Introduce OC that has changed from your first idea concerning what the character would be like?
oh man. i could talk about pretty much any of my characters here. all of my stories go under drastic rewrites so they all end up radically changed in one way or another.
one of the most drastic is ashiri though, since shes a complete inversion of her original concept. back in 2016-2017, ash started off as a duo character with a friend: ash was a ghost haunting an apartment and the landlord was struggling to rent out the apartment because of him. the dynamic was based off a joke post online.
ash was the complete opposite to what she is now. the original ash ate literal trash, spoke loud and crudely, and was very transparent about everything he thought and felt. ash now has very particular tastes, speaks cryptically and prefers to let others talk, and no one actually knows what goes on inside his head.
ash is also no longer a ghost! hes more like a zombie now, but he never actually died. more in a symbolic sense since hes bound to keep working and trade out parts of his body. she also haunts a hotel now, not an apartment -- her presence tends to go unnoticed, but now he's beneficial to the building rather than an annoyance.
