CRAWLERS' debut album is coming February 16th. Our whole lives work, all thanks to you.

When we started this band six years ago in a shed in the North of England, we said our goal was to be a band who create albums with all our hearts involved. We have been creating this world for three years now with our best friend and producer, Pete Robertson, and never expected to be able to have the platform to share these feelings, thoughts, relationships and politics with the most wonderful community. The world of CRAWLERS as you know it has only been a dip in the surface of what is to come. Many tears, hugs and traveling; going from a band skipping train fare to make it to practice, to flying around the world to perform to people who share the love of music created by four friends brought together by hurt. It is 'The Mess We Seem To Make', our proudest work. A massive thank you to our friends and family, touring crew, label and management and most of all, you. The cover crafted, graded and taken by our Jess Meade who helps build the crawlers world, with help from Vessel Studios and assistant photoshop edits from our friend George. Signed art cards from the band will be included with all standalone orders, with illustrations done by Holly, just to bring you into our messy world a little more. ok so with the new trc art with the tarot cards on the box, i need to share my rant about all of their meanings:

okay so blue is 11, which is two things. in the major arcana, that is “judgement” which is literally the card about being SENSIBLE!! LIKE HELLOO OKAY also in minor arcana, 11s are the page cards, like the page of cups. then is adam and he’s is 1 which is magician obvi. THEN is ganey which is 7 which is the chariot and that’s about like established yourself and the importance of conviction in ur life. then is ronan who is 6 WHICH IS THE FREAKING LOVERS LIKE AHHHHH and it makes so much sense because like yeah obvious he loves so much but ALSO on the card for the lovers is ADAM and eve sooooooooo 🤭 and finally the most heart breaking of all is noah who is the hanged man, which in about the importance of SACRIFICE!!! BUT EVEN MOREEE IS THAT THAT CARD IS OFTEN COMPARED TO THE CHARIOT SAYING THAT THE SACRIFICE OF THE HANGED MAN IS JUST AS POWERFUL AS THE CHARIOT’S WILL

thinking about Ronan Lynch again. from the Dreamer Trilogy, I think the implication is that he is an Aos Sidhe, one of the people of the hills, maybe even a Tuatha De Dannan--something beyond comprehension from under the skin of the world. but he is Catholic, deeply Catholic, Catholic to distraction and to the point of worrying that his boyfriend won't make it to heaven. in the Raven Cycle, he asks God again and again, 'What am I?' and the answer is... god, a god, lowercase, a god before God became famous. a god who turned himself into the patron saint of kings and quests and Adam Parrish rather than admit to being a god in the first place
