Black Sails episode XV and the ownership of your life. Relying on others is what allows your voice to matter because there's now people who listen to it. It's what gives you purpose because you're now part of a community who knows your name and cares for you. You exist. But this cannot be at the detriment of your own purpose, your own goals. Rely on others, but don't fall into codependency. Don't let them form your identity for you.

thinking about mac again. thinking about ‘this is about families getting back together and raising little boys so they could be happy again’ and how all mac wants is stability. thinking about ‘my guess is that you’ve been confused for a very long time’ and how he couldn’t even come up with a retort because, it’s true, he had been confused, but up until that point he probably didn’t even know what was confusing him. thinking about how he was neglected by his parents and then the catholic church instilling the belief in mac of ‘the original sin of being born’, and how, in his mind, the logical conclusion was to give up every part of himself for everyone else so that he could finally earn redemption for sins he hadn’t even committed.

thinking about him realising in the arbitration office that his friends actually genuinely didn’t care whether he was gay or not. how, for the first time, he realised he had unconditional acceptance.

thinking about how the gang may not be functional, but at least they are stable.

1ère période : Choix du thème, type de magazine, distribution des pages

2ème période : Établissement des publicités, textes à inclure, brainstorming des idées

3ème période : Écriture de l’article et disposition de la publicité à double page

4ème période : Commencement de la publicité à double page, éditer la photo, couper la page en 2

5ème période : Finaliser la publicité à double page

6ème période : Prise de la photo de Marwa, éditer les autres petites photos

7ème période : Disposition de l’article, finalisation

is it any wonder that everytime troy’s hurt, he calls out for abed? after all, abed’s the first one who looked at troy and said “i see your vulnerability and i love what i see.” abed’s the first one who said “i know you don’t want to be strong, and i know you don’t yet have the strength not to be.” and finally, abed’s the one who told troy “when you’re ready, let me be strong, let yourself be delicate, and you will see your beauty in us.”

one of my favorite things is how hard Glenn always laughs, with his full body and volume out of control, and in my mind it ties really well with how Dennis feels things so much deeper than others. It's nice to think that laughter is also smth that would be amplified for him and not just angst, u know?
