Hi Neil, I apologise in advance if this doesn't remotely make sense since I've had a few glasses of wine but I am Sad (big S). My best friend (who precedes me by 35 years) is dying, and is in a hospice as of today. I grew up without a dad but he's given me the chance to know what it's like to have one. I've told him as such, but I'm afraid of all the grief I'll feel once he's gone. All that love that I won't be able to put anywhere, what do I do with it??? I love him so much, and I'm putting on my bravest face for him, but I'm so scared.

Love (like all energy) cannot be destroyed. It simply changes into a different kind of love. Grief is real and love is real and missing people is real and none of your love for your friend will ever be wasted.

can you imagine how funny it would be if beyond birthday lived like. light finally successfully kills L and then seemingly comes back to the task force the next day just like 12% weirder. Control Brains as punishment force tallests to sit on a diet

With how snacks are so important to Irkens that their snack storage are seen as a weak point by their enemies, I doubt that would be how they're punished if the Brains would punish them.

But I think a Tallest-centric episode where they for some reason don't have access to snacks would be fun. Watching them go from nervously but thinking they'll be ok to slowly degrading from snack withdrawal and getting more desperate and insane as time passes.

And there's a scene where Purple finds the grossest, half-eaten chocolate bar under the bed or something and then they fight over it.

If it didn’t before it does now. This is how I see it going:

Light and Sayu are not just close siblings, they are best friends.

Sayu adores her brother, she is his number one fan and will cheer him on no matter what. He is someone she would never have to worry about bothering because she knows she can come to him for anything. She can’t find it in herself to be jealous of her older brother for being smarter than her when he’s the one person who sees her as anything special.

Light adores his sister, but more than that, she is someone he can open up to. She is someone that he trusts enough and is comfortable enough with to show the parts of himself that he doesn’t let anybody else see, and know that she wouldn’t think any less of him for it.

So when he finds the death note and is struck by the realisation that he killed two people, he immediately goes to Sayu. She is there for him as he spirals into feeling like he has to use the notebook to get rid of all evil. She comforts him and sympathises with him, she knows her brother and why he feels like he has to twist the narrative. But she also talks him out of it.

Her brother is the best person in the world in her eyes, but unlike everyone else seems to, she knows he isn’t perfect and it’s her job to talk him out of crazy ideas that wouldn’t lead to anything good.

I’ve seen Sayu Is Kira AU and Sayu Helps Light Be Kira AU but what about Sayu Stops Light Before He Becomes Kira AU??
