Taranza and Sectonia met as children in school and they’ve been besties ever since

Taranza knows how to sew!

(Gijinka) He occasionally wears a pair of mary-janes that he and sectonia got so they could match like twins. Comfortable and stylish!

He’s not scared of storms, but he does have a bit of a discomfort with lightning and the loud booming thunder just because it’s a loud and sudden sound and he’s an anxious boi...

He’s closest with Susie, Magolor, Kirby, and Morpho.

He loves to visit the library and just pick out a book from each genre

Actually if Dreamland was a capitalist utopia where money was needed for everything, he’d probably be a librarian or a full time gardener/florist

He and Kirby sometimes make cakes together when they hang out

He has problems with remembering to eat sometimes when he gets wrapped up in reading, gardening, or on the off days when his depression isn’t as well manageable

His appetite is also really small and he hardly ever eats in big amounts even when he is aware that he’s hungry. He needs to eat-

He sometimes helps king dedede and brings him some nice tea imported from Floralia!

Taranza Headcannons because I’m bored

Taranza lives in a little cottage near the whispy woods with a small garden space in his backyard. He’s considered moving deeper into the woods, but he doesn’t want to disturb the animals or whispy himself.

The eyes on the back of his head are nearsighted and are only really good for detecting motion for his own safety

He was one of the first few (alongside Susie) to try and sympathize with the Mage Sisters after the death of Hyness, especially Zan

He keeps a small journal to help him cope with his anxiety and depression and he often writes most things on his mind inside. As a result, he tries to keep anyone and everyone from seeing it out of fear of what they’ll think or that they’ll start to worry about him more.

He also writes poetry on occasion as an outlet!

He occasionally speaks with a nervous stutter and has a tendency to fumble his words even around people he’s comfortable with.

He knows how to sew! Or at least enough to mend fabric and clothing. He’s considering learning a bit more to perhaps start on some basic clothes on his own.

He gets more sleepier during the cold seasons as a result of being the species that he is. It is mostly to conserve energy and warmth during the winter months to avoid needing to stay out in the cold. His current record is sleeping for almost two whole days.

Can’t believe I haven’t posted my GK gijinka yet. Oh wait, yes I can.

I only designed him a day or two ago. Excuse the armor, I’ve not gotten much practice drawing it, much less designing any myself. Hated drawing that more than I did the feathers, surprisingly. Will probably touch it up sooner or later.

Anyways, another note, I’ve realized I have a habit of giving my gijinkas/humanoids long hair, so imma try to not do that when I design my next few gijinkas, both to practice shorter hairstyles and also to keep things varied.
