I think for season 10 of Hermitcraft they should take on apprentices! Basically have every hermit who is returning from season 9 or older seasons seek out much smaller content creators who are kinda mediocre at Minecraft and take one of them on as their apprentice. They teach them throughout the season and at the end they show off everything they did with their apprentice and what their apprentice accomplished on their own. A beautiful passing on the torch even if it’s never done again and they just keep the same hermits afterwards. Plus it’d be funny to see the antics the hermits would have. Like dad battles. “My apprentice is superior. I’ve taught them SO well” XD

My goal with these brush packs is to make digital painting feel more achievable and accessible - especially painting environments, something I now LOVE but that used to intimidate me, & felt much more approachable with the right tools! I feel like a lot of people misunderstand one of the key points of Sunday’s story. It’s about how one man’s utopia is another’s dystopia. Ideals can’t really be “right” or “wrong”, but if you apply any of them on a large-scale and take away flexibility/exceptions then the flaws are quickly revealed. Sunday isn’t the bad guy for trying to make the world a better place, but he IS the bad guy for forcing his perfect paradise onto everybody else regardless of what they think is best for themselves. The guests and citizens of Penacony didn’t actually consent to the Sweet Dream because they aren’t privy to the same knowledge of the Express + friends, and quite a few aren’t even sober! It’s like offering somebody candy and then secretly saying that eating it is consent to move them into your neighborhood LOL.

Penacony is classic sci-fi, taking things we know and pushing them to the extremes. Sunday IS the antagonist and he IS the villain. He’s a not-so-subtle metaphor about what can happen when there’s corruption in a religion. As they say, “The road to Hell is paved with good intentions.” (And I’m not ignoring Gopher’s manipulation here, but that’s a separate discussion from Sunday’s role in the story. We’re meant to sympathize and understand Sunday, but we can acknowledge the circumstances and STILL disapprove of his decisions.)

Somebody whose ideals clash with Sunday’s will naturally want to fight him on every level, even if they understand where he’s coming from. Being angry or disgusted at Sunday is just as reasonable as sympathizing or connecting with him. ┐(￣ ヘ￣)┌
