My default assumption whenever I see people pitching fits about how characters or ships or the color of the wallpaper or whatever else they don't like must be evil, is that they are a teenager.
They are a teenager who has never used anything other than an algorithmic feed on a social media app to find fannish content, they don't even know where the settings page is, and they're having a real bad time. They have to get up early in the morning, school is awful, all their clique-y peers have been mean to them about their weight, their teachers are impatient, they just got seven hours of homework and their last class was gym. And they are eternally frightened that they're secretly a bad person and their only current recourse against this is to be like, at least I know that pineapple on pizza is a sin.
Approaching things from this angle has never steered me wrong. Even when the person in question is not literally a teenager, they're still pretty much letting their inner kid drive the bus right now.
"A four year age gap is abusive!" okay champ. Screen time's up. Let's get you a protein shake and a nap.
I’m going to take away your media literacy skills
I’m sorry!!! I’m sorry that we can’t go back!!! And for all the things we can’t remember. But I’m glad we did it!! The love will always be there!
people rightfully criticizing how mavuika's motorbike doesn't fit a fantasy setting but man can you imagine other characters seeing that. imagine being diluc and spending how knows how long in the russian snow every day fighting frostbite and the fatui through sheer daddy issues before walking 20 miles in a snowstorm and then a motorbike just whizzes by you oh i'd be mad
I love the moon
i don't mean that as "i prefer night over day" or "the moon is better than the sun" either looking out my window at night and seeing a surprise full moon always fills me with child-like joy. It's like i'm transported to a time where nothing else matters, its just me, my room, and the moon.
the love that fills my heart when i see the moon can't really be put into words. It's like the clouds become crisper, the night sky is a welcoming gray and the branches of the trees are reaching out towards the closest thing they see to paradise.
gods i love the moon
Very brave of me to make a set of illustrations that's 90% hands
Anyway. This is about my personal theories/headcanons about the vision requirements
"I wish I could make a game but get other people to do all the art and writing and programming and" you literally can. It's called being the project manager, and all you have to do to get this job is be willing to write all the emails, make all the phone calls, set up and moderate all the group chats, schedule and lead all the meetings, monitor and follow up on all the deadlines, coordinate with all relevant third parties, and personally chase down the answer to every question that anyone might conceivably ask about anything. If that sounds like your idea of a good time, there are any number of projects that would love to have you on board.
