"Strong Pokémon. Week Pokémon. That is only the selfish perception of people. Truly skilled trainers should try to win with the Pokémon they love best." ... Yeah I'm going to destroy this quote now! I know controversial. I was inspired by a video in my timeline that showed a team of legendary Pokémon being destroyed by a Raichu and a Emolga. I unfortunately don't know how to make a link to the video, but there are some things I want to address. 1, the trainer with the legendary Pokémon was clearly a kid. You can tell, they had weird moves, picked Pokémon that look cool, and clearly didn't seem to know what they were actually doing. 2, the trainer with the Raichu and Emolga knew what they were doing. They perhaps were one of those casual troll players, you know those types of players who go into matches to steamroll new players. Not accusing of them being bad, the video is very old anyways so it doesn't really matter. 3, the battle is a isolated scenario in casual unranked battles, and does not prove that week Pokémon are subtly better than the strong Pokémon. All the battle proves is that a player who knows what they're doing can beat a component who doesn't. Even though the video is funny because is a bunch of legendary Pokémon losing to low tier Pokémon. Doesn't change the fact that the Pokémon used by the incompetent trainer were still better anyways. Because if the competent trainer was using them instead they would've steamrolled the poor Raichu and Emolga instead. Simply put Pokémon is a game of math and numbers, good Pokémon have bigger numbers meaning they can resist damage, move first or do heavy damage. While other Pokémon have good move pools instead, allowing them to be more supportive. Raichu was used as a support Pokémon in the winning team of 2016 championship, so it's even bad in the first place. Of course there is the Pachirisu of 2014 championship, But that was clearly a one trick pony that worked during that championship, that was only used for super fang and nuzzle, its role was to cripple and help Pokémon with significantly better stats in its team. So as cool as it may be to think that a week Pokémon can be good regardless of their stats, reality is a week Pokémon is always going to just be that week, And that's okay. The game isn't exactly design with competitive in mine, but people out of love boiled down the game's mechanics. So much to the point that certain mechanics are frowned upon and banned, like you know double-team, one hit ko moves, though the one shot moves might be banned because they're not exactly practical we use, too low of accuracy to be useful without skill swapping shenanigans. But of course some people don't like that their favorite Pokémon has crummy stats, I mean fair few of my favorite Pokémon don't have good stats. But I don't play competitive because I don't find it fun. Other people do and that's fine. And it's okay to have your favorite Pokémon to have really good stats too. It's just sometimes people get on their high horse over Karen's quote. You know a boss fight uses Umbreon with double-team and confuse ray, you know abuse RNG against the player. Yeah I couldn't help but point that out that Karen in the games she does show up in, uses double-team. You know frowned upon tactic among players throughout the community. So yeah if you want to jump into competitive Pokémon battles then you're going to be using some of the strongest Pokémon, and spending so much time IV breeding, and then EV training, looking at guides, researching strategies, you know put in the time and effort into a team. Perhaps a little too much effort and time to see results in my opinion. But if you're playing single player Pokémon it really doesn't matter, you could be having a team that comprise of Luvdisc, Unown, Delibird, Combee(male), Farfetch'd(Kanto), and Ultra Necrozma, and I don't think anyone will actually judge you, and if they do judge you for having a legendary Pokémon in your team or even a full team of legendarys, Just remember that this is a children's game where you can put Gods into balls and then call them your friends... Pokémon's really weird.
Just thought to put what I know about the Imperial Academy Heist mission in rogue leader. There is a day and night versions of the same mission based on the GameCube internal clock, in each version is different, in the daytime version you fly a Y wing and there's at-sts in the level, in the nighttime version you fly a snowspeeder and there's at-ats in the level, because you fly different ships based on the version you have a different approach to the level. So let's start with the daytime version details which 2 come to mind, when you're in the first part of the mission which is get to the base undetected, which you do is fly low and hit the radars with your ion cannon, it important to note that the moving part of the radar is not the part you want to hit, you want to hit the base of the radar because we try firing at the moving part the shot just goes through it, the other detail is there is an upgrade for spread bombs I think could be wrong about that one just know there's a upgrade for something. the nighttime version of the level has two ways to approach it, towards the end of the canyon of annoying sensors and radars there is a fork in the road, one path takes you to the base itself, the other path takes you to a outpost with tie fighter, and its pilot is apparently taking a midnight stroll around the post, if you take out the pilot, you can take the tie to sneak into the base instead, the next details the point out are universal between the two versions, the turrets around the shuttle will only start shooting when you take it, because of that you might want to destroy them first before stealing the ship, unless you want to see a Imperial shuttle turned into billion tiny pieces, once you got the shuttle some players might have difficulty getting to the end point of the mission, because of two reasons, one being the excessive amount ties chasing you, the other is that the game doesn't tell you that you have rear gun that you can fire with the B button exclusively on the shuttle. I think that's all the details, I just wanted to point out the details about mission because it is the weird stealth level of the game. PS fun fact you can actually sneak past all at-ats on the level to base in nighttime version, of course you get spotted when you enter proximity of the base, and no you can't do this in the daytime version.
Back in 2012 I set up a goal for myself, that goal was to finish majora's mask just before the so-called end of the world, you know that Mayan calendar stuff. Of course I didn't believe the world would end, but I wanted to finish the game that day. however beating the game would've been too easy, especially with an almost complete file. So with that almost complete file, I decided to try to solve as many problems in the game. This required a lot of looking into the journal for timestamps for all of the side quests in or related to clock town. Fighting all of the bosses. Saving all the eggs. And bunch of other stuff. For the most part I was successful. I mean I didn't solve every problem in the game in that file. I didn't help the old lady from the bomb shop who gets robbed, that's because it's related to the Kafei side quest. The thief wouldn't show up at the second night in the shady shop if they didn't steal something. I also didn't save the great fairies, most because they would be time-consuming for what I wanted to do. It's hard to describe all of this vivid detail due to how long ago when I did this little challenge.
This little guy was made at the end of last year. Don't know what to call them, but it is an interesting design. You are free to make your own versions of this little creature, and do whatever like add more tails, more ears, bigger or smaller orb, shorter or longer back spikes, or change the shape of the tail blade. Don't forget to credit me for the creature idea, that's all I ask.
Did you know that in the legend of zelda wind waker, all weapon wielding monster types runaway from bombs after taking a hit from explosion damage.
So can some people who are adult and on artistic spectrum, please talk to me. Especially people who are open-minded and likes furry designs, dragons, dinosaurs, and videogames.
Did you know that, the Megaton hammer can hurt Ganon's tail in final boss fight of the legend of zelda ocarina of time
I don't exactly remember when I got Mario kart Wii, I just know I got it sometime after its release, So sometime between 2008 and 2009. I got a used copy of the game. This came with a unforeseen consequence. The use copy that that I got was damage. The game sort it still worked, but a lot of the courses didn't work and the game crashed. The courses that were still worked were all the old courses from other Mario kart games, and most of the new courses specifically to Mario kart Wii didn't work. which included the meme course coconut mall. Rainbow Road also didn't work, me and my sibling only found out through online at the time, due to unable to unlock the special cup. so yeah I only ever experience half of Mario kart Wii. but hey the game wasn't broken enough for Funky Kong. I think I and my sibling were able to unlock all the characters.
I kind of need to Reblog this. Because it sucks to be alone. I have tried talking first to someone. But they didn't replied to any of the asks I sent them. I also got block by them. It was not a pleasant experience. But it was an important lesson. Some people just don't want to talk or make new friends. It also doesn't help that the user I was trying to talk, was also artistic like me. So I'm may have accidentally step over a boundary that I didn't know was there. it is also important to understand to not just give up. Because giving up on trying to have friends in itself is a mental suicide. So I will keep trying. Even if it's hard. Even I do find friends. I still have to keep trying. Because in the end. We try not because it is easy. We try because it is hard. I don't dislike them. Yes I'm disappointed. But they had their reasons, and I have to respect that decision.
The thing is, if you never go anywhere and never talk to anyone and never reach out to new people and never text first because you have convinced yourself you're unlovable, then your loneliness will become a self-fulfilling prophecy - and that's NOT because you're actually inherently unlovable...
