things to wear when i’m investigating an abandoned castle that’s heavily rumoured to be infested with vampires
Ain’t nothing wrong with picking up fallen succulent leaves off the floor of the Walmart garden center, takin’ ‘em home, and growing your own plant babies. Pirate those plants. Fuck the system.
In which I became a desert witch for a day. Currently, my sagebrush is drying in my room and giving it the freshest and cleanest smell 😌🌾
hey y’all, your resident eclectic with here with a quick tip on easy-to-do spell jars!
I personally live in a dorm situation nine months out of the and try to keep my shit pretty lowkey for my roommates sake, so I keep four elemental mood jars in little mason jars in one of my drawers. Whenever I feel funky, out of alignment, off-mood, or just need a little pep, I mix the corresponding jar and say a little prayer and thank you before I start my day. The contents of these jars were inspired by an elemental post made by stargvsm! Please see their post for more ideas, as my jars really contain the bare minimum to convey intent.
Earth- For grounding, strength, healing
Contents: dried moss, crushed pine cone, wheat, crushed lead, salt, patchouli essential oil, jar is decorated with sigils for Venus and Saturn
Air- For clarity, inspiration, intuition, memory
Contents: feathers, lavender, lemon peel, clover, yellow fabric, soda can tabs, incense ashes, jar is decorates with sigils for Mercury and Uranus
Water- For emotion, release, reflection, growth
Contents: silver coins, sand, chamomile, mint, river stones, sea glass, jar is decorated with sigils of Neptune and Pluto
Fire- For energy, courage, passion, confidence
Contents: candle wax, basil, cinnamon, red pepper flakes, garnet necklace, gold coin, jar is decorated with sigils for Mars and Jupiter
My planet associations are based on the zodiac, go with whatever works best for you! I put soda can tabs in my air jar because I associate aluminum with air, but I know some people prefer tin. It’s all about what you feel best represents the relationship you have with worship- there’s no right or wrong contents.
For prayer, honestly, sometimes I just put my head on my desk and swirl the jar and talk out loud like I’m asking an old friend for advice. I talk abut my day, why I feel the way I do, and what I want to change about how I feel, and ask my patrons for their guidance. Blessed be, y’all have fun and stay safe
- keeping obsidian, a small skull amulet, a pendulum, or smokey quartz with you to squeeze when a confidence boost is needed
- gently reminding yourself to really live in the moment, as our time here is so short
- burning a black candle when you feel the need to “power up” your energies
- beginning each day with a positive reminder: “i shall continue to make my strongest mark on the world, to the best of my abilities, during my period on this Earth"
- taking a “spirit bath” filled with salt + a black bath bomb, cleansing yourself of negative energies
today's mood: leave everything, go live on the beach and become a sea witch, have a little cottage with big windows, draw strength from the waves, collect stones and shells and make from them amulets, swim under the moonlight and listen to sirens

Jason Voorhees - moss, decay, the grain of bones, lakes so still that they reflect the sky, poisonous berries, nature, campfire smoke, pressed flowers
Michael Myers - birthday cake, the smell of wet steel, jack-o-lanterns, motor oil, clean clothes, dirtied hands, rubbing alcohol, abandoned houses, petrichor
Freddy Kreuger - burning, christmas, sweet meat and brown sugar, melatonin, deja vu, the sound of industrial machines, fear
Bubba Sawyer - abandoned food stands on the side of the road, warm hugs, novelty aprons, the taste of blood in your mouth, rosemary, crooked smiles, fresh footsteps on wet soil, taste testing batter before baking it, family
Brahms Heelshire - gold dust, porcelain, freckles, hollow statues, hedge mazes, the smell of misty mornings, stairways to nowhere, lullabies, wool blankets, sandalwood
Billy Loomis - static on television sets, old vhs tapes labeled with duct tape and marker, corn syrup, when you hear your phone ringing but realize no one called, fairy lights, suburbs, the aftertaste of cigars on your tongue, urban legends
Industrial designer Andrew Kim has created a new Coke bottle concept that could significantly change the sodamaker’s footprint. For every 4 bottles currently shipped, the square bottle design could ship 6. This means every shipping container could hold 4,000 more bottles of Coke. Kim also considered that Americans use 2 million plastic bottles every 5 minutes, so he made the bottle itself green. It is 100% plant based, made entirely from sugar cane byproducts. Which is amusing since Coke hasn’t been made from sugar since 1985 (via Jerry James Stone)

Can’t remember if I’ve done this before or not, but it sounds like good fun
Bonus points if you tell me a holy relic I’d leave behind
having love in your heart will literally save you from the otherwise cataclysmic experience of being a human being
escape from the world in the little countryside, live in the old house, wear vintage clothes, spend entire time reading novels, grow vegetables and have friendly neighbors
We all enjoy our drinks from time to time but has anyone ever thought of the properties of each beverage? I haven’t until now and we’re gonna jump into it now. Also these are based off what I think they can be used for, feel free to correct me or put your input in or add any alcohol I missed!
🍸 Vodka - A strong ass drink. Can be used for strong spells, curses, banishing, warding, and cleansing.
🍷 Wine - Both red and white are made from fruit, more specifically berries. Use wine in offerings, love spells, and healing spells.
🍺 Beer and Ale - Now, I find this boring because I like my drinks to have taste (and these drinks are usually brewed from wheat) but whatever. You can use beer and ale cleansing and grounding spells.
Tequila - Ah yes, the drink white girls get “lit” on. Tequila can be used in binding and grounding spells.
🥃 Rum - A drink with spice and the drink of pirates. This drink can be used in summoning, binding, and love spells.
Whiskey - A cousin of rum, or that’s how I see them, only the classiest of people drink whiskey in their short glasses. Whiskey can be used in binding and self love spells.
🥂 Mead - A wine usually made from honey. Mead can be used in offerings and love spells.
🍶 Sake - This drink will ruin your night if you’re not careful because it is a strong ass drink. Use for curses, banishing, binding, and negative based spells.
Moonshine - Do. not. drink. too. much. of. this. Like vodka and Sake this drink is very strong so it is best used in spells that you want to be powerful. Basically you can use moonshine in any spell.
