Here’s to 2023, a year of as many little courageous kindnesses as possible. ♥️
I was listening to a podcast for some updates on Joost's trial. And one of the hosts asked if the Dutch delegation made a mistake choosing Joost as a representative 'cause there were signs that he wouldn't be able to deal with the pressure of media well enough. He goes on to say that some people say that with Joost's background and mental health stability they should've picked an artist more up to the task (the host disagrees with this).
But I was thinking, what a sad society would we live in if people with trauma or people on the spectrum, wouldn't even be considered to live their dreams because they're deemed "not up to the task". What do these people want? Hush hush don't let people know different people exist?
A Jinx WIP? How did that get in there..
I’ve been drawing a lot more recently and feel like my style has developed a lot compared to a few months ago , and so I just get too excited to stay working on one thing at a time. Not that I have a great track record of finishing things anyway, but that’s not the point.

Me shooting the Ganados after remembering they had once been happy villagers before being forcefully infected with Las Plagas by Saddler and returned to their communities, causing them to slowly turn against and kill their families.
a win for tortured writers and haunted artists everywhere

The history of a man that tries and tries, but in the end, fails to achieve the apparently simplest of the tasks: find its own path, but without being conscious of the method or the way to do it properly for himself. Probably the story of many that, in this society, in this system, are and has been oppressed by the forces of enthropy, and capitalism. A story that, in a certain way, reminds of myself.
