To my knowledge, abel died as a young adult/adult due to being murdered by his older brother, cain

But in my opinion, it is true he looks more like a kid than a young adult/adult, so abel may have died younger(?)

But I have no clue since hazbin has shown to be going in a different direction and changing a lot of things

Like adam is said to be the first soul in heaven. So, in the hazbin version, it implied abel was the second to die and went to heaven after his dad

But that just my guess since hazbin lore and timeline they are trying to lay out is just so confusing

I also hope abel is adam's kid, and the show doesn't try to pull off. "lucifer is actually abel dad, and adam isn't!"

I just saw abel design in the new Christmas pic, and I have to say, I did not expect him to be blonde

Now, my friend and I talk about abel design when the leaks came out. And we were not the biggest fans on him looking like a copy and paste of adam.

So, him being blonde is not the bad thing. It is just the fact it feels like we have a lot of blonde characters already. Why not give other colors a try.

I did black, brown, and ginger-brown hair colors to see how which one looked on him

And out of the entire bunch, I have to say ginger-brown is my favorite! It matches the overall vibe of his character, and it goes great with his color palette.

They could only stare in horror as the creature bites through the knights. Merlin could faintly hear screaming and then pain.  

“Retreated.” Sir Leon’s voice broke through the clearing, forcing the few knights that were left into action, grabbing Arthur’s wrist as he pulled him away from there. He forced them to move even though Arthur was almost dead weight.

Trying to pull away, trying to get back to the creature. It needed to be slain before any more people died. Merlin needed to be avenged. He needed to know that his death wasn’t in vain. He died protecting his family, and that is enough.

“Arthur, we need to rethink this. We are not winning; we can come back when we have a plan, and then we can handle it.” Leon’s voice barely broke through the fog, clouding Arthur’s mind.

Suddenly, there was just silence as they stopped in the forest about a kilometre away from the creature. There was a look of horror as the knights placed their hands on Arthur’s shoulder, giving him some comfort.

All of them knew what the relationship was between master and servant. Even when they tried to hide it away, it was clear as day.

All Arthur could do was sit there, his body barely able to move. He glanced upwards, his eyes desperate as he tried to keep his face calm. But from the knight’s eyes, he could see that it wasn’t working.

Leon sighed slightly as he sat down next to Arthur, gently pulling him against his chest, the older knight sent the other away with a glare.

“It is my fault, Leon, I should have insisted that he stay in Camelot. He doesn’t belong out here with us. And the newbies, we should have known.” Arthur's breath hitched as he tried to gather his thoughts.

“Merlin would have just followed us; you know that as well as I do. And unfortunately, we needed to have as many hands-on decks as possible. We didn’t know it would be this bad, Arthur.” Leon tried to give him some comfort.

A sudden blast made them all freeze as a shock wave sent them to the ground.

Arthur forced himself to his feet, hand on his sword, as he rushed back to where the blast came from. As if someone forced himself forward, he came to a halt in the clearing.

The creature on the ground, Merlin, slumped against a tree, blood dripping from his head, an arm cradled against his chest.

“Merlin.” Arthur rushed over to the manservant. Crouching down, he gently moved the soaked hair out of his eyes. He wanted to ask how, instead, Merlin slumped forward against his chest. “Safe.  You all are safe.” His voice slurred, whether, from the head injury or magical exhaustion, Arthur couldn’t say.

His hands trembled as he picked him up. “Go to sleep; I have you.” He whispered the words as he glanced at Leon.

Knowing that between them, they would keep Merlin safe. There is no other choice.

So, I have an idea for a merlin fic, could be oc or reader insert, involving a kingdom of magic, a people born with wings, emrys = god of magic, bad!morgana turns good!morgana, dragonlord stuff, magic reveal, weird timeline (uther is alive, but the knights are around. ) uther WILL get bitchslapped, but I won't tell you by who, and other things. I promise, it fits together better than it sounds like it would. Yes? No?

so, its widely headcannoned that when arthur finds out about merlin's magic he's upset that merlin didnt trust him and lied to him

i think when leon finds out its the opposite.

first of all, leon is smart and observant so he suspected the whole time. and i think when merlin finally tells him (because he definitely sits him down and tells him the truth) leon just smiles

he smiles and he tells merlin how happy he is that merlin trusts him and he would never tell anyone else his secret and he loves him so much

leon would hold merlin when he decides he's ready to tell arthur and he's so scared about how he's going to react and leon promises that if arthur is anything less than supportive they'll run away together

because as much as leon loves camelot and respects arthur, merlin means the world to him

leon would be in awe every time merlin does even the smallest bit of magic. he'd get butterflies seeing merlin make their bed with just a flick of his hand

idk man leon is just too in love with him to even consider that merlin had any ill intent with not telling him sooner

Remember when Merlin collapsed in front of everyone and all that Arthur did was roll his eyes and his close friend Gwaine just stared at him and the only one who rushed to check on him was Lancelot? What the hell was that about huh

constantly thinking about that post that was like “if Lance and Gwaine had gotten more screen time together Gwaine would’ve had an intense one sided rivalry with him” because i think it would be so funny

while revising some of my ocs, i realized how odd it is that everyone in the hellverse either speaks english or has it as a secondary language. putting aside the reality of hazbin/helluva being tv shows produced in america by americans, there should be a LOT more characters who primarily speak a language other than english or use outdated english (and no zestial doesn't count the mf was in like one episode). i also want to see more bilingual characters that aren't spanish. where are the french-americans. where are the russian-americans. it can not be hard to find voice actors who speak a language other than english and spanish.

Typical trope of the woman being better at archery than the man but the woman is Merlin and the man is Arthur (and the Knights).

It’s probably a bet or Gwaine trying to flirt with Merlin, or maybe Leon worries about his safety to the point he makes him, but one of the Knights offer to teach Merlin to shoot. They figure he’ll be safe as you normally need some distance to shoot and doesn’t require too much strength. (in the instance of Knights, they tend to not realise that a bow string is very taught and hard to pull if you want to shoot well as they are already sturdy in muscle.)

Gwaine goes to hold onto Merlin’s me show him a proper form but Merlin just scoffs and shoos him away.

Arthur finds it hilarious that Merlin is so confident as he thinks it will be funny to watch him embarrass himself, until he watched Merlin pull the bow with more ease than even the most trained archer.

Cue them watching Merlin shoot every target with as close to perfection as one can get (without controlling the wind).

Putting the bow down and blushing despite his prideful grin, Merlin just shrugs at them as if he didn’t just blow all their minds, “We had survive somehow in the village.”

Gwaine cackles with glee while Leon debates for illy picking up Arthur’s jaw.
