Cersei: fake af Robert: fat, drunk, the biggest disappointment Myrcella: stupid Tommen: fat and girly Joffrey: ugly snob Jaime: ✨gorgeous✨ striking, 11/10 Tyrion: morbidly fascinating
I'm tired of people saying that the Greens started the war for their own survival, all while insisting that they are talking about HOTD and not Fire and Blood, except that even in HOTD it is simply a matter of acidity of power and misogyny. Literally, Otto says it in episode 3. Gotta stop the bullshit after a while. And daring to say that Rhaenyra taking the throne doesn't help women in general in Westeros, when... well it does. That’s the point of a fucking precedent. Stop trying to twist everything to fit your bullshit logic. I'm tired of coming across arguments from Green stans.
Me watching the same people who infantilize young!Alicent to the point where it feels like she's 3 years old, adultify young!Lucerys to the point where it feels like he was 27 slashing the eye of 12 year old Aemond for his own enjoyment
Oh my God... The Green stans really didn't understand the story of the dance and the characters of Aegon II and Rhaenyra ! 😂
In the show, Aegon II does not take the throne to protect his family, but because he was forced to by Alicent. He has no interest in protecting his family, he even sought to flee Westeros in the first place, leaving his entire family behind.
In Fire and Blood, the idea that Aegon II took the throne solely for his family is just pro-Greens propaganda made by Maesters Eustace, easily spotted as false when we see Aegon II's behavior once he he has the crown on his head.
Rhaenyra, in the show, doesn't really want the crown, and primarily wants to protect the kingdom from the prophecy that essentially heralds the apocalypse.
Rhaenyra, in Fire and Blood, on the other hand, wants her crown and will fight for it, because... well it's her inheritance. She therefore has every right to claim it, knowing that in addition she was educated to fulfill this function of sovereign of Westeros, unlike Aegon II.
Rhaenyra, in Fire and Blood or HOTD is not the one who is power hungry.
At least not in the negative sense of the term, in relation to Fire and Blood (since in HOTD the women are pure innocents apparently not interested in power...) in a specific way (because once again, the crown belongs to Rhaenyra, it's not negative greed to want to keep and fight for what's yours, wanting power isn't inherently bad as far as it's concerned).
Because it is the Greens who embody this evil greed for power. It is already obvious from the color that represents this faction and the chaos that they cause and sow around them in this greed for the throne.
Aegon IVs top 10 most iconic moments:
10. Naming those hills “Barba’s Teets” and then renaming them “Missy’s Teets” when Barba insults Missy’s breast size.
9. Trying to invade Dorne only to not even make it to shore because his whole fleet was wrecked by a storm.
8. Burning down 1/4 of the Kingswood and killing hundreds of people while trying to build wooden dragons for his Dornish invasion. Then immediately giving up on invading Dorne and pretending like nothing happened.
7. Showing up at Whitewalls, impregnating Lord Butterwell’s 3 daughters, and giving him a dragons egg as a reward.
6. Gifting Blackfyre to his bastard son Daemon.
5. Killing his father, Viserys II, thereby robbing the realm of potentially the best king it may have ever seen.
4. Creating Bloodraven.
3. Helping Daena escape the Maidens’ Vault and impregnating her, thereby both creating Daemon Blackfyre and also indirectly causing Baelor the Blessed to kill himself.
2. Spreading rumors that Daeron is his brother’s bastard just to undermine his own heir purely out of spite.
1. Legitimizing all his bastards on his death bed so he can keep being everyone’s problem for another 80 years.
lmao so GRRM's notablog post criticizing Ryan Condal's writing choices has apparently now been deleted. 💀 the girls are fightinggg
"I have no idea what Ryan has planned, if indeed he has planned anything." 💅
wanna play with his hair while he info dumps nerdy stuff to me <3
Oh don't mind me. I am once again upset and flabbergasted by the favoritism toward Greens in screen time ratio.
We get two long scenes of Aegon making a fool of himself but not Jace's reaction to the prophesy shown, we don't even hear him listen to all of it.
Overlong scenes of Alicent and her potential pregnancy and Larys but no more reactions shown to Rhaenyra's absence.
Two unnecessary long scenes of Gwayne making fun of Criston but we don't see Rhaenys saying goodbye to Corlys. No scene of Rhaenys interacting with Baela or Jace or Rhaenyra. Saying goodbye to them. Even though this was her last appearance. The showrunners disrespect toward Rhaenys needs to be studied. She had one interaction with each of her granddaughters in the whole show and nothing with her grandsons.
Overlong montage of Criston taking in the destruction but no scene of how Jace is placed at the centre of council in his mother's absence.
None of the Team Black characters are given room to breathe. They barely get any screen time. Their emotions and conflicts are made secondary to disposable filler scenes of Greens. While all Team Black scenes are rushed and given no room to breathe.
This is not only incredibly unfair but also making the show quite a bore to sit through. And HBO wonders why the ratings are falling. People don't want to see the same thing with Greens over and over again when they're not developing. They haven't earned excessive screentime. Believe me, everyone's tired of this mess.
"Sansa's wedding"
( well i kinda liked this idea in my head how she would look with Lannister colors so i made her dress red)
Aegon II defenders be like “oh my god you rape ONE person and all of a sudden you are the bad guy🙄😒”
Aegon II dickriders want so badly for him to be this relentless badass rising from the ashes of defeat to seize victory and take revenge on his enemies, but in reality he was just a lazy spoiled man child who got his ass fried in his first battle (a 2v1 ambush with Vhagar on his side), spent like half a year high of pain killers, escaped and took Dragonstone solely because Larys Strong did all of the work and planning (and still managed to get crippled by a 13 year old girl riding a baby dragon), got super lucky with Rhaenyra just happening to stumble into his grasp thanks to no doing of his own, and then when he took back Kings Landing could not even hold the city for half a year before his own councilors poisoned him and replaced him with a depressed third grader, because as it turns out he actually has zero leadership skills and was never anything but a worthless puppet that the traitors who raised him up were all too glad to get rid of the moment it suited their needs.
