I am a grown ass adult and I still get nausea when I feel like I'm in trouble. They're gonna send me to the principals office and take away my toys for a week. Can you just fucking kill me instead of making me stew in my fucking anxiety

you are the hero of ferelden. no matter your origin you watch those you love most be ripped from you. death becomes an endless cycle which seems to follow you wherever you go. the fate of the world rests on your shoulders as you know you can never return home. home is gone now. home is buried with your family, jailed with your closest ally, cradled by the ancestors, forgotten like your beloved, lost to time in the murky glass of the eluvian- dead in your arms, killed at your hand. you are the hero of ferelden and it is your destiny to die. when next the world falls apart, you do not come. this world does not deserve your pity.

you are the champion of kirkwall. you are a refugee, cold and hungry and sold into labour. your mother hates you, though she will never say it. it's your fault the ogre killed your sibling, your fault the taint took the other. but you are happy. you have everything, friends and family and status and riches. you defeat the people plaguing your glorious city, you are the people's hero. you will always know even as she came back, isabela left you to die. you are happy but you are alone. you have everything and then you are rocking back and forth begging please please please do not take my mother as well. you have nothing, but you for a single second, you had everything. you are the champion of kirkwall, and your ally has blown up the chantry. where is your home now that everything is your fault?

you are the herald of andraste. and you are so, so scared. these people do not trust you, do not like you, would feed you to the fade if they could. they do not care if you follow another religion, you are their herald. you can never return home because heroes do not have homes. they say home is the people you choose, but you didn't choose these people, did you? every step you take aches. thousands reach out to touch you, for safety. for comfort. you are a black hole close to destruction, and you cannot do this. you are the herald of andraste and you have not been yourself for so long now.

Man I could just play around in Warden headcanons all day. Like not needing to eat nearly as much but feeling hungry all the time regardless. Not needing to sleep as often, able to go days without food or sleep since they are pretty much ghouls without the peeling skin and dark blotches. Taking hits that could and should drop somebody but are able to just keep going and going and going.

Anders can sense other Wardens or darkspawn in the Deep Roads and has a hard time telling which is which. So Wardens can sense each other, and yeah it feels like darkspawn. They can tell the rough distance from other Wardens, and after a while if they work as a unit long enough, I like to think they can tell each person apart.

And the hivemind thing? Like Wardens probably fight freakishly effective as a unit. Like freakishly effective. The more a unit can fight as a whole, the stronger they are, so not only is a Warden a formidable force of nature by themself, a bunch of Wardens fighting is probably a near terrifying sight to behold.

Just Wardens being semi-monstrous is a thing I find fascinating and fun to roll around in.

"Davrin sacrificing himself is so tragic because Assan—" Davrin sacrificing himself is tragic because it goes counter to his character development. Davrin spends the whole game learning that he doesn't need to be a weapon, that he has another path before him (like the griffons, whose 'outcome' directly parallels the struggle Davrin faces regarding his own identity). He goes from insisting that he's just Assan's bodyguard to embracing his caretaker role to the griffon. He struggles immensely with surviving Weisshaupt and, specifically, killing Ghilan'nain's archdemon, because he has spent so long believing that he - like all Wardens - is just a weapon to be used until it breaks. His character arc is about learning that he can be more, that he can be something else. That his future doesn't have to include fighting monsters until one eventually takes him down.

And if he dies fighting Ghilan'nain, he never gets to see that future.

I feel like we need to talk more about how fucking boring depression can be. I pick up a book and can’t read more than a few sentences, a chapter if I’m lucky, before I can’t focus. I knit two rows of something and then can’t continue. I scroll through all the different options of shows I haven’t watched without clicking on any of them. I hop from app to app looking for content that will spark literally any single emotion. It’s not even 10am and I already feel like I’m just waiting until it’s time to go back to bed.

I hate it I hate it I hate it

Project 2025: A Blueprint for Democracy’s Demise?

What’s Happening?

It’s no longer a warning—it’s reality. Donald Trump has won the presidency, and Project 2025 (also known as the 2025 Presidential Transition Project) is now in full motion. This initiative, designed to reshape the executive branch of the U.S. federal government in the event of a Republican victory in the 2024 election, is no longer just a blueprint—it’s actively transforming the country before our very eyes.

This sweeping political takeover, spearheaded by the Heritage Foundation, is actively dismantling democratic institutions, expanding presidential power, and eroding fundamental rights. The time to stop it has passed—the time to resist is now.

Political scientist Laura Field warned that Project 2025 was never just about conservative policy: “They want to provide President Trump with the tools to overcome, in some cases, the legal or constitutional limits of the executive branch.” Now, those tools are in his hands. Constitutional law expert Erwin Chemerinsky previously called the plan “deeply frightening,” and Joe Biden described it as “the greatest attack on our system of government and personal freedom ever proposed in this country’s history.” Those warnings have become our new reality.

Here’s what is already happening:

50,000 career federal employees have been fired, replaced by hardline Trump loyalists—an unprecedented purge of government professionals.

The Insurrection Act has been invoked, allowing the U.S. military to enforce domestic laws and suppress opposition.

Political opponents are being targeted, with DOJ resources used to investigate and prosecute those who resist the administration.

The Supreme Court’s oversight has been weakened, effectively allowing Trump to rule with minimal checks on his power.

Paul Dans, a key Project 2025 leader, openly stated that they were preparing to “march into office with an army of ideologically aligned conservatives.” That march is over. The takeover is complete.

Why This Should Terrify You

The America you knew is disappearing. Here’s what is already at stake:

Federal Agencies Are Being Dismantled: The Department of Education is being gutted, civil rights protections are vanishing, and agencies that safeguard healthcare and environmental protections are under siege.

The Government Has Become a Propaganda Machine: Career professionals have been replaced with political operatives, ensuring that government agencies now serve only Trump’s interests.

Checks and Balances Are Crumbling: Trump’s power is expanding rapidly, with fewer legal and institutional barriers to stop him.

Dissent Is Being Crushed: Journalists, activists, and political opponents are being targeted, making free speech increasingly dangerous.

Kamala Harris had explicitly warned that Trump had a “detailed and dangerous plan called Project 2025”—and now, he’s executing it.

Why This Matters to You

If you’re a young adult, woman, or member of a marginalized community, you are already feeling the effects of Project 2025:

Your Reproductive Rights Are Disappearing: Nationwide abortion bans and birth control restrictions are being enforced.

Your Education Is Under Attack: Public school and university funding cuts are already affecting accessibility and affordability.

Your Future Is in Danger: Environmental deregulation is accelerating climate change, leaving younger generations to deal with the fallout.

Your Freedom to Be Yourself Is Under Threat: LGBTQ+ rights, racial justice efforts, and diversity programs are being dismantled at a rapid pace.

This is not a distant threat—it’s happening right now. And if you don’t take action, the damage may become irreversible.

The Bigger Picture

What’s happening in the U.S. mirrors global trends—authoritarian leaders are rising, using democratic systems to cement their control. Project 2025 is not just an attack on America’s democracy; it’s part of a worldwide movement to undermine freedom and human rights.

The frightening reality? Once a democracy is dismantled, history shows that it rarely comes back without a fight. The window for reversing this course is closing fast.

What Can You Do?

Stay Informed: Share updates on Project 2025, educate your peers, and spread awareness—knowledge is power.

Support Resistance Movements: Join organizations fighting for civil rights, democracy, and social justice.

Use Your Voice: Social media, protests, community action—speak out before it’s too late.

Prepare for the Worst: Recognize the risks of authoritarian rule and find ways to protect yourself and those around you.

We are no longer on the brink—we are in the crisis. Project 2025 is happening, and the time to resist is now. The question is: What will you do?
