I think people aren't really claiming heihachi wad a good guy I think it's an excuse because (though he's died and came back before) reina having alot of his moves makes it clear she's his replacement and people haven't had time to warm up to her yet so they'll fuse and complain till a year or 2 from know then they'll come around to her

Hot take regarding Heihachi Mishima and Reina.

I still find incredible the amount of mental gymnastics that male players do with justifying Heihachi Mishima and hating on Reina for no reason at all. Let me explain.

I think a lot of y´all either don´t have media literacy, critical thinking and love to justify straight up abusers.

The whole concept and take of " Heihachi been secretly the good guy because he was betrayed by Kazumi" makes me vomit. Since when a man been abusive towards his son, adopted son and grandson is justification for been "betrayed" by his wife in the past???? Like, are you insane.??

He was NEVER the good guy, like, EVER. He tortured and imprisoned his father Jinpachi Mishima, stole his conglomerate and rebuilt it as a mafia. He left his father to die and rot under Honmaru BEFORE Kazumi ever tried to kill him. Jinpachi was long gone before that. I bet you, Heihachi doing that is what triggered the gene in Kazumi. As far as we know the Hachijou´s do not kill for nothing. They get rid of threats to humanity. Kazumi was doing her job, trying to save the rest of the world before Heihachi got more powerful.

He killed her, tried to kill his son Kazuya, and when he survived he made his life a living hell. Got rid of both his grandad and mom, adopted Lee Chaolan for the sole purpose of making him a rival to Kazuya. Not letting them develop a normal healthy sibling relationship, but just making them hate each other.

Wang Jinrei (Xiao´s grandpa) knew him since he was a kid and told us in Tekken 5 that he has ALWAYS been an asshole.

He kidnapped Michelle Chang and stole her necklace relic to resurrect and control Ogre to gain power to himself.

He had zero feelings to Kazuya even as a baby "his mother was specially doted on him", no shit Sherlock, Kazumi WAS HIS MOTHER. Of course she is going to love him.

He hooked up with Lars mom (and with multiple ones) only to prove if he had or could have a devil gene too. Abandoning countles of kids that we don´t know yet, all over the world.

And the Reina situation just makes me remember Tekken 3 all over again.

I´m 100% sure he also manipulated her, she is probably a test tube baby, raised and brainwashed by him, spoiling her (she seems to know everyone on Tekken and has a lot of money) , she doesn´t have anything against him because she is a girl and we know Heihachi has a soft spot for girls. She doesn´t know the whole story, she is probably only 21 or 22, in her mind he was the perfect father and Jin and Kaz were just overreacting or were evil. He treated her right, gave everything to her, covering up his multiple crimes and abuse towards his family. So please, do not hate on her, we don´t know her side of the story but is probably going to be sad as well.

Heihachi neglected all his male sons, adopted ones and grandkid. He is not a "heartbroken man", he was an abuser. Period.

lays down i am just so so so obssessed with the Millia/Zato/Venom love triangle i cant. i dont want any of those 2 to end up with Zato bc hes sucks major ass and makes their lives worse (said as a Zato Main), but its still SOOOO interesting like,,, 

Zato loving Millia, then hating her, and then basically making her his entire will to live and devoting himself to protecting her when she wants nothing more to move on from their past after fucking killing Zato because of the whole hating her and him trying to kill her over her being like “hey killing literal baby kings is fucked up man” and disliking the assassin life she had found herself in. that she has grown and learned to love herself again while Zato sank deeper and deeper into his own problems before deciding to make his happiness dependent on her which, oof! unhealthy. but such good drama.

and then theres Venom who started to hate Millia out of jealousy, who was just so devoted to Zato and following him that he became an assassin despite it being against his very nature–because while he is someone who comes off as stoic and robotic at times, hes very soft natured, empathetic, and hates blood.

 but he loves Zato, so he stays an assassin and in some endings takes the entire guild over…. and then when Zato is taken over by Eddie he goes out of his way to track them down and try to save Zato–in some endings either taking care of a comatose Zato or even taking on Eddie as a parasite instead

and its like… Zato will probably never love venom! not even that hes probably straight, but because Zato’s more concerned about himself and then later “protecting” Millia that he takes Venoms loyalty and devotion for granted whilst chasing after a woman who can’t love him back (and honestly is totally justified in NEVER loving him back) just yet because he’s not changed enough from what made her hate him in the first place

And all of them would be better off without each other–Venom gets a taste of it with his bakery and Roboky at least–but Zato (and somewhat) Venom just cant let who they want go!!

and then Venom even starts to decide he cant hate Millia anymore, not because of her actions, but because Zato’s dedicated himself to protecting her now and Venom in the end cares less about his own feelings and safety than he does about Zato–

just.

Something I've noticed about Tzeentch and Slaanesh's relationship is that, while all the gods lowkey fear Slaanesh, only Tzeentch has taken actual steps to remove him as a threat. Tzeentch engineered a war between Slaanesh and the joint forces of Khorne and Nurgle (and was later the victim of the same alliance after Slaanesh revealed the Ebon Blade in Tzeentch's vault to Khorne). In Age of Sigmar, it was Tzeentch who looked for, found, and then engineered Slaanesh's disappearance. According to the lore, Nurgle of Khorne been imprisoned where Slaanesh is currently, it would've been wraps for them indefinitely; only Tzeentch and Slaanesh could slip this particular traps, Slaanesh because he's a wiley son of a bitch and Tzeentch because magic chains would naturally not hold the God of Magic.

Tzeentchians have also inconvenienced Slaanesh in two other ways: They've snuck into his realm and cut his hair. They've also engineered a war between him and Nurgle who, as beings who cannot feel pain, are arguably the worse of matchups between the gods.

It seems to me like Tzeentch, unlike the other gods, is actively trying to get rid of Slaanesh. Meanwhile, he simply hates Nurgle or finds baiting Khorne into tantrums funny. Slaanesh is the one he seems to consistently bother and has been described as being "apprehensive" about.

Khorne hates Slaanesh and Nurgle is disgusted by his insolence, but Tzeentch actively finds Slaanesh threatening. They all do, but only Tzeentch consistently tries to do something about it while also not implicating himself.
