This is my new gofundme campaign. I had an old campaign but on another site called gogetfunding, but the donations were very slow. I collected $2,000 in 50 days or more, so I decided to start a new campaign on the famous site gofundme.

Now I need all of your help to spread my new campaign and give me hope again.

The goal now is to evacuate my family from the war, and the first person who will be evacuated is me so that I can register at a university in Egypt to study medicine before registration ends. Therefore, we want to achieve the goal soon, with your help. The universities in Gaza have been completely destroyed, but my dream, which has been with me since childhood, is still to study medicine. I am Moamen, a Palestinian from Gaza currently residing in Germany. I am working to collect donations to support my family in Gaza, who are experiencing extremely difficult conditions following the recent war. My family consists of ten members; my father suffers from diabetes and high blood pressure, while my mother has hypertension.

In these photos, we present a glimpse of my family's life before and after the war. The first photo shows our home in Gaza before the bombing, where my family lived in peace and good health, with a stable source of income and a supportive community.

The second photo depicts the destruction that befell our home due to the bombing. After the house was destroyed, my family was forced to live in a tent in Deir al-Balah, facing extremely harsh conditions. During the bombing, five family members sustained serious injuries, and we lost all sources of income after the destruction of the commercial shops that supported us.

My brother Ahmed lives in northern Gaza and suffers from severe shortages of medical treatment and food. He has three young children: Amir, Malak, and Muhammad. Amir suffers from a skin condition caused by living in the tent under the high temperatures in Gaza, and requires special medical care. As for Muhammad, he has polio and his condition is worsening due to a lack of necessary medical care.

The situation in Gaza is extremely dire, and my family, like many other families, urgently needs support and assistance to meet their basic needs, including medicine, food, safe shelter, and special medical care. Additionally, we are seeking to move to Egypt as soon as possible when the border opens to receive necessary treatment and seek safety.

Each day, life in Gaza becomes increasingly harsh. Destruction and devastation have woven themselves into the fabric of our daily existence, leaving deep scars on our community. The loss of so many friends, colleagues, neighbors, and loved ones weighs heavily on our hearts. Despite these overwhelming challenges, I refuse to give up.

The war took nearly everything from me—my job, my dreams of marriage, the opportunity to pursue a master’s degree, and my ability to support my family. Forced to flee to Rafah with my loved ones, we’ve spent months living in a tent, facing daily challenges to meet our basic needs and find some sense of stability amid the chaos. The lack of stability has made it difficult to maintain even the simplest routines, yet I refuse to let these hardships define me. Every day is a test of resilience, pushing me to adapt and find new ways to continue my work and provide for my family, no matter the obstacles.
