Ooooo can't wait to see how this plays out with ava cause she didn't look happy and now they are official
(It's almost three am but I am fuming, I've been collecting these for a while, my evidence, I WILL write a detailed post about this in a few days but I wanted to leave this here in case anyone else wanted to see how fucking deep this goes)
HYPOTESIS: Nandermo is textbook queerbaiting, not in spite the characters being queer but BECAUSE of it. The ship was used deliberately by the writers, the actors and the marketing in order to bring lgbt viewership to the show with NO intention on ever delivering on their promise.
Also the show presented itself as queer, marketed itself as queer and went to win GLAAD awards two years in a row then proceded to have no m/m or f/f couples for SIX seasons. Their queer rep were just jokes.
(I hate that I have to use wikipedia and dictionary.com but the actual articles about it are behind paywalls and I am poor)
These are from season 3, 4, 5 and 6
Season five:
The show is over, it had six seasons, where were my m/m or f/f couples? Because I sure as hell didn't see one apart from the one episode with Freddie, that's it, that's all we got. Apart from that it was just jokes.

OR THIS:
But before that we had:
And today:
harry doodle page (this show makes me feel some type of way)
some close ups!!!!!!!!!!!!
I post a lot about the ship but that's not even the worst thing that's not the thing that the show completely pissed on and hurt a lot of its viewers doing.
It's the ableism. It's Harry being turned into this antiquated disabled caricature solely to be laughed at. They know he's seen as autistic/nd. They all know, Alan especially knows and he has a large part in what Harry does says and is presented as given how much of Harry is improv.
Calling someone with Harry's traits a child just spits in the face of every real disabled/nd/autistic/etc person with said traits. Being so cruel to him for said traits is even worse. Watching the second half of s2 felt like a hatecrime and s3 is just a true blue sitcom out of the 80s. The act of making Harry like this in the first place for a joke is hurtful and so is the way he's treated in the show. The more disabled he became, the worse he was treated.Hitting him, calling him names/an animal, making fun of his voice/mannerisms/language, Asta's endless exhaustion rolling her eyes sighing on top of calling him a child when he does anything or tries to communicate, while she's supposed to be his friend. You're supposed to laugh at and think whatever he does is stupid, weird, wrong. If someone called him the r slur I'd be like yep that tracks for this show.
Season one made me feel seen, no one treated Harry like shit and if anyone was mean Asta would step in, people wouldn't make a huge deal out of his awkwardness it was just accepted, the humor of his failings felt like the writing was laugh with him instead of at him, we were meant to feel sympathy and closeness and believe in his better nature. There was SUCH a focus on being an outsider and feeling of not belonging, how that wasn't a bad thing and there were people who would accept you. The whole bond between him and Asta was about outsiders finding one another in a world that was cruel, but in Patience Harry could see the best in humanity and maybe not feel so alone. Breaks my absolute fucking heart that it's all gone, that people in the real world making this show said nope ableism and cruelty for our sitcom!
Kevin: Go home, Brother.
Chimney: *goes to the Lees*
I love bucktommy and I would've been perfectly happy with them being endgame, but i also understand it's a drama show and breaking up a main character creates easy drama. and like. i get it. i'm sad it happened but i get it. I'll still read fics. but goddamn i am so fucking pissed off on how they broke them up
what was the fucking point of episode 5?? the whole graveyard scene? Tommy talking about family? The beginning of that coming out arc was so well done and felt so natural and was so important. AND THEY FUCKING KNEW IT! They talked about it multiple times and wanting to handle this well and then they go do that?? Like i said, i'm not even angry they broke up, they're fictional characters on a show but i am so upset that they decided to just throw out biphobic lines and have Tommy break up with Buck because he decided he should date around. what a fucking waste.
I am just exhausted. I am so fucking tired and upset that they decided to handle what was such a well done coming out arc like this
Omg same he was on my nerves the first time we met him mainly because the massive power imbalances between him and his patient but the more he speaks to the Dhan the more I hate him. He is so consending when he speaks to Dhan and I can't stand it!!!
Ok I am just going to say this. I don’t like Ethan. I don’t like the vibe I get from him and Dhan in their scenes. We know Dhan leans on him a lot and can’t cope when he’s not in town. And he’s his therapist or at least he uses his professional knowledge on Dhan yeah? Idk it feels WEIRD. And it feels a bit like there’s this power imbalance there? Idk if it’s intentional or what bc this show doesn’t delve into personal lives very much. But I am not loving their dynamic esp after the newest ep.
