I'm trying to get the motivation to torture myself through gomens season 2 and just looked at the episode description....
Tell me why the German translation for Aziraphale is Erziraphael and why that sounds so funny
In general, I've just noticed the differences between German and English good omens.
Like, what are those voices?? Erziraphael saying okay during thenflaming sword scene????
Day 34: Cajun seasoning today for those that don't have any of those good ol' Louisiana spices.
2 Tablespoons paprika (smoked or sweet are pretty good)
1 Tablespoon iodine or kosher salt
1 ½ Tablespoons granulated pepper (mixed)
1 ½ Tablespoons granulated garlic
1 Tablespoon granulated chili
Some dried parsley
Some dried oregano
Some dried chervil
1 Teaspoon thyme
This is my personal preference, feel free to add or subtract from it.
"granulated [food] " is another word for "ground [food]" except that it doesn't mean "powdered [food]"
Where are they, I might go ask them myself-
Biggest regret of my trip to Austria was not asking this pub if they had Pon Farr Fridays.
Day 43: It's Motto-week, meaning my all classes in my year get to dress up.
Today's theme: Character from a Movie/Series
My costume: Giyuu Tomioka
On the pictures you can also see:
My friend wearing a Mary Poppins costume as well as a girl from a parallel class dressed up as Shinobu.
We had to take the chance for funny pictures
Day 21: Potato-gratin with bacon cubes
Shit looks good
Ingredients:
1,5kg firm boiling/ waxy potatoes (I don't know the word, sorry)
Butter/Oil
100g bacon
1 Stick of leek
150g melting cheese (?), Salami flavour
200g cream
3 eggs
Salt, Pepper
Herbs of your choice
Recipe:
Peel the Potatoes, wash them and cut into 4mm thick slices. In Saltwater barely cooking (not done) and then put them in an oiled up baking form.
Cube the bacon, clean the leek and cut it into rings. Sauté in hot oil for 5 minutes while stirring. Spread over the potato slices.
Whisk 100g of the cheese, cream, eggs, salt and pepper and herbs. Spread over the Potatoes also.
Bake in preheated oven at 200-225°C for 40-45 minutes, adjust if needed.
After 25 minutes, add the rest of the cheese in small blobs.
Enjoy!
Day 70: in Prague, the buildings are pretty
There are surprisingly not many cars or people.
Most places are rather cozy, some are expensive (900 Czech crowns for a small Tiramisu cake) but most are affordable.
There are some cool things to see here as well
wade is terrified of scaring logan off with his love & logan is terrified of hurting wade unintentionally so they are at an impasse for a solid two months before they reach the communication stage
How did Freddie Lounds not get sued at least a dozen times because of her articles? She violated so many laws.
You're telling me the FBI did nothing against an (as far as I know) freelancer paparazzi constantly interfering with their work?
Bring back the straw hat badge so I can legit buy 20
