In the official kny fan book it says shinobu views love quite scientifically, like heart rates, blood pressure, brain responses, etc.

Some small things to mention is that giyuu said she didn’t like fluffy animals and the fact she has a goldfish as a pet id like to think it’s somewhat true :)

Also she enjoys talking to giyuu, a fellow neurodivergent, and I’d like to think they’re each other’s comfort people :))

Also I can see a bit of hyperfixation but there’s not too much canonical evidence that I know of to prove my point, just headcanons lol.

Something I forgot to mention is that neurodivergence is a spectrum and can be presented in many different ways! Everyone is different!

Also specifying I'm neurodivergent and I still very much stand by the fact that Shinobu is in some way neurodivergent, but I don't want to cause any harmful views of people who are neurodivergent. No one has called me out or anything but l'm oh so paranoid and want to be sure I'm representing my community well!

I've been back and forth with taking this post down, but have decided to just reword some things that came off in a way I didn't intend. If I caused any harm by this post please let me know and l'll be sure to take action to correct it

if Miguel O’Hara and Gabriella O’Hara were in demon slayer?

I just thought of my two favorite spiderverse characters meet my other two demon slayer characters, so might as well post about it.

Miguel would be around Hashira level, he’d be a Hashira. He would make his own breathing called Arachnid Breathing, (descended from Insect Breathing) and it would have around 8 forms.

Miguel’s Relationship with the Hashira!

Miguel-Sanemi: bro will not like Sanemi. He found out that Sanemi stabbed a child, and neglected his younger brother, but Miguel will have little respect for Sanemi because he is really strong, but that’s all.

Miguel-Kyojuro: I see Kyojuro and Miguel as best friends, he will relate to the daddy issues, and I have a feeling Gabriella and Senjuro will be best friends. I did have a few scenarios that Kyojuro and Miguel went out on a mission to save Gabriella and Senjuro, and they worked together, slaying demons and saving their kids. (Kyojuro and Senjuro reminds me of a father and son relationship)

Miguel-Gyomei: Miguel and Gyomei are friends, but Miguel would be scared of Gyomei at first because he’s like, gigantic. But later on he’d warm up to him and be friends.

Miguel-Mitsuri: bro these two will have eating contests together, and Miguel will show Mitsuri Mexican food. Dawg they are buddies.

Miguel-Muichiro: I see a father and son relationship, Muichiro would see Miguel as a father figure, (besides Gyomei) and would talk with each other.

Miguel-Shinobu: ehhh I see a slight rivalry, but only reason is because miguel thinks Gabriella is better than Kanao, (yk like those who’s stronger than who arguments) but it’s like a friendly rivalry.

Miguel-Tengen: Miguel would find Tengen annoying sorta, because of the loudness and his massive ego of his, but he’d be surprised of his 3 wives.

Miguel-Iguro: slight friendship, Miguel would help Iguro ask out Mitsuri, like a wing man. But my head canon is Miguel is absolutely scared of snakes, so he’d be scared of Kamaburu (sorry for spelling the name wrong) like a little girl.

Miguel-Giyu: nothing. straight up nothing. no hi’s or anything. they don’t know each other.

Kyojuro: A little repetitive, but thank you, nonetheless!

Giyu: Iguro, I like... uh... I like the um... The, uh, colour of, um...

Obanai: No, go ahead. Which colour of my hair do you like? Black or black?

Giyu: ... Uh... I like the yellow of your right eye.

Obanai: Whatever.

Giyu: Uzui, I like the red dots near your eye.

Tengen: Naturally! But your compliments are in desperate need of flair and uniqueness. You just keep going off about colours of things and eyes.

Giyu, completely ignoring Tengen: Shinazugawa, I like... the colour of the scar near your eye?

Sanemi: That doesn’t even make sense AND you said it like a question! How the fuck is that a compliment!?

Giyu: It just is.

Sanemi: No, it fucking isn’t!

Giyu, ignoring Sanemi and remembering that Gyomei is blind so colour and eyes mean nothing to him: And Himejima, I like your generous personality and your compassionate manner. You really hold this team together.

Since it really long time I have post the last post about AvA/AvM, I decided to post it fewer than before, for some of being bored from posting on just 1 fandom only

I said one time again that I'll post it fewer, not quiting it. I will posting more about Kimetsu no Yaiba too

i kid you not i think i’m supposed to feel touched and i truly am but the heartburn bit that popped up like two times killed me instantly. i think another way the ending could’ve went (in a much more dramatic way) would be like:

chapter 2 epilogue:

shinobu: well, that was something. my smile feels a lot lighter now.

heart: wow that was nice, lemme just- (*cue romantic bgm*) skip a beat~ (*romantic bgm gets louder*)

shinobu: *oh…i….*(*romantic bgm slowly builds up until-*)

Kanao knew how to survive. Don't let them see what hurts you so they have no leverage.

You didn't have to try.

You weren't cruel.

That was the first thing that struck her as odd. Not that she could really feel the shock.

Well, she could. She always could. But if you keep the emotions buried, they couldn't be used against you.

She learned this at a young age.

Growing up from a small breading mill that was running short on money. So short that they sold their demons for dirt cheap.

It didn't matter anyway. She wasn't a high-quality demon. She was one that no one would bat an eye at if she disappeared. Even her owners after the mill thought so.

They weren't that well off either, so when they got her, they made sure she knew that they could sell her at any point for a quick, needed buck. So she 'behaved.'

She acted as what she thought any other good demon did, quiet and obedient. That didn't seem to help too much, however.

The owners after that were a bit better. They had more demons, too. Two sisters that immediately accepted her as one of their own, the younger being only slightly hesitant.

She had learned a lot from them. They took care of her. And when they were alone, when the owners were out, they were confused why she still had that emotionless, obedient attitude. She wouldn't make any decisions.

Kanae had a solution.

She had snuck into the masters' room and taken a coin that she knew no one would miss and gave it to Kanao.

Kanao was hesitant at first. This was stealing! And from their owners of all people.

But her sisters insisted. So she accepted it.

When no one was around and she needed to make a choice?

Coin flip.

When no one was around and the emotions she had built up were starting to show?

Coin flip.

It eased her immensely that she had this to fall back on, even if people still blamed her for the coins' choice. She was fine with this.

And it was from her sisters, so she would cherish it.

She grew with them, learning how to love from them. Showing them the smallest bit of herself.

It was a mistake.

The eldest, Kanae, as she learned, had feared for their life. A man had approached the girls and their owners on a night out, one of their better rewards for good behavior (that they didn't get too often thanks to Shinobu, the younger sister's, mouth) and Kanao accidentally bumped into him.

The man was shouting, and Kanao was confused. She had already apologized. Why was he still so angry? In her moment of thought, she almost didn't register the man raising a fist to hit her until Kanae had already moved in front of her and hit him herself.

Because of a demons' ridiculous strength, she broke several bones in the man's abdomen.

She was put down for this.

This broke both sisters all over again.

Kanae was the only one who really saw an upside to their situation, and with one demon in their care now having had a violent incident on her record, the owners wanted to get rid of the rest fast before a repeat.

So they were sold.

Once again, for dirt cheap.

This owner, you, seemed different somehow.

You never yelled. Hardly ordered.

You laughed when Shinobu made a snarky remark about you. Never truly offended.

And.

You gave them Kanae's hair pin and haori.

How you had aquired these? They may never know, they barely get a chance to ask anything about it without getting at least a little chocked up.

You broke the walls Kanao had put up for so, so many years so easily.

It may not have seemed like it to others, but you could tell. You paid enough attention to see her opening up even the slightest bit. To see Shinobu's sassy remarks getting fewer and further between.

You treated them like they were worth something, and that hit Kanao the hardest.

The two sisters' only regret is that their long past third couldn't get the same love before she was taken from this world.

But that was ok.

They promised themselves to live for her, so that, maybe, she could feel this happiness in the afterlife as well through them.

Day 43: It's Motto-week, meaning my all classes in my year get to dress up.

Today's theme: Character from a Movie/Series

My costume: Giyuu Tomioka

Lol I love them both so much I wanna cry but also, hot women so I simps

Hot take to some ppl but I genuinely think giyu and sanemi have more potential than giyu and shinobu.

I would say I'm not comparing ships and blah blah blah but if I simmer it down I quite literally am so bear with me 🙈

1. Wind and water : this combo wombo gets me everytime, two natural elements ? SIGN ME UPPPP

Storms, hurricanes, whirlpools, like wind and water are just meant to be. And when you compare that to water and insects it doesn't really click as well, no hate to giyushino shippers ofc, it just feels like there's a lack of chemistry (literally) compared to wind and water.

2. The dynamics: we all know giyu cares for shinobu and shinobu cares for giyu but I feel like it's more of a sibling dynamic if anything. Shinobu constantly annoying and bothering giyu whilst he just tolerates it because he likes the company shouts siblings to me.

And we see this kind of treatment by giyu in other relationships, too, like him and tanjiro, e.g., an entire episode is dedicated to tanjiro bothering giyu until he starts talking. Tanjiros nagging is very, very similar to shinobu, and if you can confidently say that tanjiro and giyu are sibling coded, then you can't *really* confidently say giyu doesn't see shinobu in a similar way. Right ?

ON THE OTHER HAND, sanemi and giyu have this relationship based on a misunderstanding (that I believe if it did not happen they would get along more than obanai and sanemi) not only that but giyu also actively wants to be his friend which isn't stated the same for shinobu. You could argue that she and giyu are already friends, but if they were, I'm sure he would be much more open around her. He literally *smiled* at the thought of giving sanemi his favourite food when there's actually no scene of giyu smiling around shinobu. You can't tell me that he isn't way too eager to become his no. 1 hater's best friend (or boyfriend).

3. THE OBSESSION GOES BOTH WAYS this post may make it seem like giyu is pining after an aloof and mysterious sanemi, but NO.

Sanemis weird obsession with giyu and his attitude exceeds iguros. You can see it when giyu tries to leave the hashira meeting early, and both iguro and sanemi have a problem with this, but only sanemi gets up to stop him physically. NOT ONLY THAT but when they have their little spar and tanjiro interrupts them he accuses him of spying on them. Like there's nothing secret about a sparring session unless there was something deeper going on at the same time... (we know what u are).

And don't even get me started on that official art that was posted the other day like their breathing techniques literally make a heart. And it was sanemi not shinobu 😭.

I lowkey hate the fact that some people headcanon Mitsuri is chubby because of her boobs. Like, you see a girl that isn't ridiculously skinny and you call her "chubby" ? Because she has thick thighs ? Because she has bigger breasts ? Is that all ? She isn't ridiculously skinny with a big breast so she's chubby ? I have nothing against chubby people. But c'mon, we saw her in her bath scene that she's slim. Stop believing she's chubby just because she's not ridiculously skinny to the bone.

Shinobu and Ai are from different anime, they're both very different but they're similar in some ways.

- They both lie to their close one, Shinobu to her friends and Ai to her fan

- They both put on a fake smile everyday

- It's their way to "love". Taking Kanae's personality was Shinobu's way to love her sisters (by making sure they don't feel Kanae's absence), and that's how Ai "loves" her fan (by lying to them)

- They wish to be normal. Shinobu wishes to be taller while Ai wishes to be able to love. Both of them consider themselves as not normal and wish deeply to be.

- Each of them calculates their moves. Shinobu does that so she's sure to have Kanae's behaviour, and Ai does that so she's sure her fans think she loves them.

They're very different but so similar at the same time.

Plus they're both short-

Headcanon about my favorite KNY character : Shinobu Kocho !

1 - Shinobu already tried to wear heels to be taller, but since she always fall, she never tried again.

2 - When she was young, Kanae used to tell her story, and now Shinobu tells the same story to Kanao, Aoi and the butterfly sister.

3 - She always hopes for Zenitsu and Inosuke to not get hurt because she don't like having them in the butterfly mansion. They're both noisy and Shinobu like calm

4 - She once fought a guy (and won) because he said "Periods aren't that bad." She never regretted.

5 - Each year, when the day Kanae d*e arrives, Shinobu stays in her room and refuses to go on mission.

6 - Mitsuri bought them matching pyjama

7 - She's a walk faster

8 - Shinobu took care of her haori a lot, and almost cried when it got damaged.

9 - She has a notebook where she writes every t*rture method she could do to demons. Uzui once found it, he never saw her the same as before…

10 - She once dreamed about being as tall, buff and muscular as Gyomei. That was the first time she was happy being short.

11 - She hates dresses and skirts

12 - Someone already tought she was 12

13 - She often talks to her fish about her day. No one interrupts her when she does it…

14 - She has almost no memory of her parents. Her last memory about them is when they all hugged each other with Kanae 4 days before they d*e

15 - She tried to write a book, but she forgot it.

16 - Her, Kanao and Aoi often go on a walk during the day.

17 - She shared her plan with Tamayo

18 - She defends her sisters more than herself.

19 - The first time she tried alcohol, she ended up being sick

20 - She doesn't celebrate her birthday now.
