Those costumes go through a lot of abuse; just look at Seven's knees.

Think about how many costumes Tsuburaya Productions uses in a year for the various television series, the touring live performances (like above), and appearances at special events (store openings, festivals, etc).

AND keep in mind how many different Ultras there are (with more added every year).

AND keep in mind that once a costume gets too damaged, or gets holes, it can no longer be used.

The folks making those costumes must be busy 7 days a week, 365 days a year!
